I love that Karen stated that we were money-not in an ideal sense but still wealth. With that, we must move like assets instead of liabilities. We must move in a state of wealth and handle ourselves with a wealth mindset. That doesn't only mean capital, but we have to navigate ourselves, our wealth, and our mental wealth/strength in a better and beneficial way to our communities.

I don't have any vivid recollection of that Platters song but it brought back a warmth that was familiar and as Dr Carr spoke, his words and his song reminded me of a cassette tape I was given 40+ years ago of old Ethiopian love songs and how a couple of those songs created a similar warmth or feeling within me, as if an old, old memory and familiarity from some forgotten place had been stirred. Thank you for another opportunity to relax and allow my mind to be freer than it usually is when I'm trying to listen to someone.

I absolutely Loved this Black Women who was Regal & , Grace personified ...like many I 1st saw her in the film " Sparkle " she remined me physically of the matriarch's in my family. Had a close friend who knew her personally ; she stayed with him in Australia (Sydney ) while shooting the Matrix ...He said she had a wicked sense of humor....We have lost truly a TREASURE...!!!

I’ve been teaching for years that Moses and the released descendants of Jacob were people of Egyptian culture. Similar to how we in the US are now after 400 years of living here are indigenous Black American with no knowledge of what proceeded us. Wow. Live and learn. My most important take away from CLASS is the fact that us "modern" black ones really do believe that we know more than our ancestors and elders. All that has changed is our tools to acquire more discernment and understanding of our world. Somehow during this process we have become full of ourselves and lost our respect for those who came before us. It is now time to reclaim what we lost and move forward with the confidence that we have come from the original place and original humans and that in itself makes us humble and confident at the same time. Keep this going Doctors Carr and Hunter. We are learning much more than any institution of higher learning can give us and it's free of cost my people.

RUclips Premium does allow you to make up to 60 second clips. I use those clips as sound bites to entice those with whom I converse regularly about these subjects. Hopefully, they then will listen and become a regular listening also. Then, hopefully they will join the crowd over in Knubia/Knarrative and increasingly join the inevitable march and brick laying to and for liberation for Africans wherever we are in the world. PS: No one should, however, consider that I am endorsing Google or this RUclips platform. I am NOT. However this class and the gem about the Egyptian glyph' s symbol for *Joy* being a nose w/ flared nostrils. That was it for me, changed my entire perspective. Huge thanks to Dr. Carr for talking about the structures put in place to make the boycott work. Often, I hear people dogging out the younger generation. There are plenty of young people who could be easily activated just as they were in the 50s and 60s. Actually, there are plenty of young people that are already activated. There aren’t many stable structures to help them learn how to organize. There aren’t a whole lot of mentors taking them under their wings. The bulk of the older generation spends its time talking about the younger generation instead of cultivating it. This is one of the reasons for the generational chasms.

I first heard My Prayer by the Ink Spots in 1939. I had not heard The Platters version, but to hear Dr. Carr speak to the heart of the song, renewed my memory, and how it connects not worth a feeling but a people. Our ancestors, and how they move in, above and around life itself, even now, through us who seek and desire to find out way back. I am grateful...
