I found having a rubber gear tie on the platform looped on the linemans while getting strap around on the tree easy

Only advice I could give is to keep your platform a bit closer to the top of your last stick. Just in case something ever were to happen you’d be closer to find your way back down. Great video!

@@the_every_day_hunter what tanner said and almost ever video I watch ppl are stepping on the platform without being tethered in first I’ve seen them cam buckle straps brake that lineman’s rope ant going to save you if something did happen might not hit the ground but it want feel good. The USA pro is a good alternative instead of that cam buckle.

Connect your tether before getting onto the stand.

Was just wondering what you think of the sticks you bought do you like them? I just ordered a saddle rig myself grit . Good luck on the hunt

@joebear512Congrats on the saddle ! You will love it ! Thanks and good luck to you too, I saw a really nice buck last night but didn’t get a shot …. I like my hawk sticks simply because of the price, I got three sets of 30 inch ones that I leave in the spot I’m most likely to hunt again then I just add one of my short ones to the bottom and leave the three thirty inch ones there that way I don’t need to remove my whole setup every time , I just take my platform and the bottom step , I can reach a little over 20 feet like that

Good video. Those were my first climbing sticks. I'd look into stealth stripping your sticks so that they’re quiet. Those sticks will make noise coming in. I’d also look at the amsteel rope instead of the standard attaching a rope to give you more length. And I didn't see it, but what bag do you use?
