I like the new production on the videos but personally I prefer more commentary with less music or just a slight background music. Jeff’s knowledge is pure gold, we don’t want to miss some info because the music was too loud. Great job on the build. Looking good! Thanks for the video.👍
It's almost as if it's not all that rustic anymore. I literally could not distinguish between the ads that played and the actual video. Yes, I am listening to Jeff's video more than I'm watching it today. 😉
Yea... less music. More instruction. I want to know what you are thinking while building. I want to be on the job site with you as you are working. Like an apprentice. the music could be playing low in the background, like a job site radio with Jeff talking over the background music. Not loud music. While working Jeff can tell us what tools he uses and why and what are his favorite. Could get some good tool sponsorships. What nails or screws work best. What wood and why.
Same here. What attracted me to Jeff and Hannah's channels was the simplicity. Its what the south is all about. About enjoying whats real in life. So simple videos showing day to day stuff was the best. Now with flashy shots and loud music it looks like a professionally made video for HGTV or DIY. I like the old simple way better. And not hearing Jeff speak while working , doing commentary about the steps he's taking , just takes the allure away from the videos as well. #bringbacktheoldjeffbarron
Jeff I enjoy your content so much and the music is a nice addition to the repertoire, watch some videos by Andrew Camarata, his channel is a good example of using time-lapse and music, I think it would be awesome to see a time-lapse on your channel of entire days of progress in just a few minutes. Mount a camera to the end of the forks on the LULL and position it for the perfect viewpoint. I love to see you doing well, thanks for what you do.
Jeff looks better in his 50's than most men in America do in their 20's, or ever for that matter. Kudos to you Jeff for being a real man, the world needs more of you.
Jeff I enjoy your videos you are very good! Is it posable to match volume of music to your voice so the volume doesn't have to change constantly. Thanks Phil
Thanks Jeff for another labor of love video. You can always tell when a man is smiling while building he loves doing it. Your always in your element . no matter what you are doing and sharing. You also make it look effortless with all you have done. Thanks for your tips as well.
That will come in handy. Couldn't help but notice where the big cat laid into your arm... chomp chomp chomp. I watched him do it on the last video and can still see the after effects on this video.
I appreciate you discussing how you do things!!! It is a blessing Brother to watch a man be a man and a great Dad as well love you guys an i appreciate ya.God Bless
Fantastic job Jeff looks real nice and awesome. I wish I had the skills you have and knowledge love your videos and you’re awesome person never had a dad to show me Uncle Jack taught me a lot what little I know but I’m a easy learner you do awesome work. Appreciate you, Johnson.
Awesome work as always. I really appreciate all of the extra work that went into the recording and editing of this piece. Made for an awesome and informative video. Now it’s time to get back on the water and “Get Bit. Preciate Y’all.”
Big time skills. Can't wait to see more of Hannah's house. It already looks awesome. She's lucky to have you Jeff your a great family man and it shows in Hannah
I like the old videos. More down-to-earth. It's like y'all took a videography and acting course. My personal opinion.....y'all just needed lapel mics or a boom mic, a good digital video camera and a little bit better editing. Don't get all commercial on us. There's already a million of those out there. Love your videos. You inspire me to get out there and build stuff!! And to smoke meat.
Damn it man!! You can do just about anything. I do a project like this and it'll take me a week and it won't come out nearly as good. Lots of good information and tips here. Much appreciated.
You always make things happen easier, I wouldn't mind working side by side with you on a job, but I'm out of state, good luck with all your projects buddy and thanks for sharing another great video!
Great job all the way around, lifetime carpenter long time viewer, nice job Jeff, wouldn't change a thing🙌..great job on the video, angles, editing, actually a great instructional video too!
Preciate you Jeff ! Always love what your doin ! For what it’s worth I have always enjoyed you doin what your doin and sharing it with us ! I appreciate the extra effort but it’s not needed I promise. Take care. Much love from Maine respectfully my friend
Great Job Sir What I like about your video Down to earth man hard to find And you get the job done and it came out really good. You don’t make things complicated You simplify it so that means you do this in a lot thing That’s best way to be Man to man hats off to you Sir Enjoyed the video God bless
Jeff you one hard worker and talented in many ways you make it all look easy . Enjoy the filming sound and editing always watching . I’m moving to Alabama in a few weeks - Guntersville or Gadsden
Great job, but hoestly miss all the commentary during the build like the old videos, the new style is still cool but feel like i dont learn as much with this new style cause you dont talk as much, was curious how deep your holes were dug and how you determined the water to cement mix ratio when filling the hole with mix and then adding water? That seems so much easier than mixing it all first then pouring in, but dont know how much of each to use
If you are going big time production add a Lavalier microphone on Jeff to catch all the commentary. Music over drilling noise is fine but don’t miss the golden wisdom with too much jamming over Jeff’s voice. Thanks
I use those torx head coated screws also. They are a little pricey but with a DeWalt 1/4" impact it makes it so easy and those screws hold. Would like to know what you are using to fasten the metal roofing with. I know about the metal self tapping hex head with the metal washers with the glued on rubber washer on bottom side for fastening into metal square tubing. Do you use the same fastening the roofing to wood?

It’s like a Home Depot commercial. Sure miss the old Jeff home style.
It's almost as if it's not all that rustic anymore. I literally could not distinguish between the ads that played and the actual video. Yes, I am listening to Jeff's video more than I'm watching it today. 😉

I WISH I KNEW WHY PEOPLE HAVE TO B NEGATIVE. AWESOME WORK JEFF. LUV HOW UR MIND WORKS.
They don't make men like Jeff anymore. Good job on the new addition.
Jeff Barron is a man !!! He can do more by himself than most three men crews..Mkes it look so easy
Love the camera person’s skill. Music was great.
Jeff is just cut different. He’s the man!
Whenever Jeff builds anything you know it is gonna be strong. And it looks great.

Nice looking addition, I noticed the hand of your helper, with fingernail polish, wasn’t dirty!🤣🤣🤣

Great job on the addition Jeff...enjoyed tge video!
Fire the new camera guy! I'm just playing 😂 , I prefer the old format 🤝🏼🤝🏼🤝🏼🤝🏼🤝🏼
I used the same technique with the post when I installed a privacy fence.
Switch to pea stone, your post will last alot longer, no need for the screws because of heaving, cheaper.
getting it done brother! nice!
Excellent build video. Think I heard some young lady clearing her throat at 1 point. 😂😂
Your videos 📹 are getting really professional! 👏
That's impressive doing that yourself

Looks great nice job thanks for sharing it with us 😎🙏🍻🍻
Nice move that's going to pay off real nice💯💯💯💯👍🏾
If you are going big time production add a Lavalier microphone on Jeff to catch all the commentary. Music over drilling noise is fine but don’t miss the golden wisdom with too much jamming over Jeff’s voice. Thanks
Awesome work yall! Maybe a bit less of that music and more tool sounds and nature sounds
I use those torx head coated screws also. They are a little pricey but with a DeWalt 1/4" impact it makes it so easy and those screws hold. Good gab (big jeff)👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
For a man that takes his hat and shirt off and works in the sun, he sure builds a lot of shade.
Someone stepped up their editing game! Nice job on the video love it👍
Great video! Loved the music.
Jeff! You are red skinned like Hannah! 104 F in Texas. Close by. Heat exhaustion Watch out!
Looks great as always!
