I totally disagree with the last part of this statement . Let them do all that they can for themselves. It’s what builds character , responsibility and skills. You as a parent should just help when help is needed and only if asked.
I just love watching Jeff and the knowledge of how to do every task that needs to be done from the ground up,I have to wonder how or where he gained all of his knowledge!
0:20 Listen to them locusts! I love it!❤❤❤ 3:23 I always love to see someone who's good at what he does. You picked up two logs with the forklift easier than I could pick up two straws with my fingers.
I need some lumber, hey there’s a bunch of big ass strong trees I’ll just cut, haul, and mill my own no problem! Jeff you rock, Hannah is so lucky to have you and I know she feels blessed! 😊
You know you guys do a great job my grandma was from bama born and raised in Oklahoma work for hansmire plumbing for 20 years Kenneth hansmire son taught me how to little catfish in lake Thunderbird there's a bunch of crack tubs on this like lake forget my spelling I'm retired 59 years old I appreciate everything I appreciate y'all I would like to come down and help no video give me a text we are masters of all hand working trades only God gives us the abilities appreciate you all all all all all
A very good friend of mine used to run the same Sawmill and I used to help him. And watching you do this makes me miss my buddy very much. He died from mouth cancer from Camp Lejeune.
World's best dad. Love the building design talk too, not to mention the fine driving skills making those turns with 20 footers dangling off: not as easy as you make it look!
Jeff is my spirit animal:). Just started on 10acre lot, plan on building at least one building from trees on the property. Will certainly be referring back to many of his videos. Blessed with Amish community 10min away. Sawmills are very easy to find and cheap. Had a 20’ 16” Black walnut cut into Slabs, 5/4 and 4/4 for $50.
Very nice set up Jeff. Nice little sawmill tall pine trees. Also I think you said you cut them in 20 foot pieces. Awesome video. some pretty wood on wood I really don’t know if that’s longleaf or what good looking wood though. Good job look nice appreciate you keep the videos,
You go Jeff! Truly a B.A. dude! Renaissance man can do it all! Got music skills too? Ha! Hannah's gonna have a hard time finding a guy as great as you. Great job!
Wow totally awsum. Love Hannah but you’ve got to be one of the luckiest girls in the whole world. There’s no amount of money compares to the ground up hands on professional custom work your Daddy has provided ❤❤❤❤ got to be Dad of the Century wow wow wow 💪💪💪💪💪
That lull is a pretty tough machine. I've been ready for you to get back to her house. My son is getting ready yo build one and I have told him about what yall are doing so he will probably start watching yall on yours.
This was my first job when I was 16 working on the wheeler farm. Had a chance to run the saw a few times, but mostly stacking wood off the mill to the Keel
Good video y’all thanks for all the great content. Y’all keep up the good work. Just a suggestion at the mill I use to work at we mixed trans fluid with soapy water and that really works well. The trans fluid cuts the sap off the blade pretty good
Fair play mate you go the extra mile not just helping her to build the house . cutting the dam trees down to make the timber needed . if i was wearing a hat i would take it off . hard working dude and a top Dad.
if i still lived in TN, i'd love to come fishing with you and help build Hannah's house just for something to do to pass the time lol i truly miss the southern lifestyle
We know you're always thinking three steps ahead, how are you going close up on seems we're deciding of the house and the roof come together making it airtight and watertight, sew-in on hurricanes come through you don't get no water in between the walls? Love what you doing keep it up
Freaking AutoText... How are you going to close up the seams, where the tin siding and roof come together, making it airtight and watertight, so when hurricanes come through no water gets in between them walls?
We have a fiberglass tail on our saws to make them 4 feet long. Easy way measure logs. Tail to end of log tap log with running chain move up , tap and move on or cut off. makes work quick
Good to see y’all working on Hannah’s house again. Is that guy on the boat with y’all Hannah’s boyfriend? If so I wish them all the luck in the world. Preciate y’all!
A very skilled hard working man devoted to his daughter doing what he does. What every father should do for his children. Whatever is needed.
Hannah is not lazy there are children you can't do anything for. The best thing Jeff did is raise her right

Great experience for your child to learn from. Hands on hard work is a great example to display and she certainly has learned a lot from it.
