Wow!! These guys are master craftsmen when it comes to taxidermy. The amount of detail (especially on the fish), is just amazing. Very cool tour.. thanks Jeff!😉👍👍
It's when you see folks standing beside these huge animals that you really appreciate just how big some of them actually are. Those brothers aren't just taxidermists, they're artists too. Great video, Jeff, thanks for sharing it.
We gotta get you and Hannah and everyone using some wireless lav mics. A little extra editing on the videos, but lots of times we could really benefit from making sure we hear all of the southern knowledge!
Holy crap Jeff, that is totally amazing. I am so pleased you took us along. These guys are the best in the business. Record holders brought to them? Top of their game.
Thank you for taking us along on this trip. .since I can't afford to make these kind of trips I'm thankful to get to see the world through the eyes of others. Fortunately I live in Louisiana with some of the best hunting and fishing in the south . Thanks again safe travels
Thankyou for taking us along to see this place that's all amazing!I think you all has soft voices hard to hear alot of what's said,or the camera not picking sound up as good.
I totally agree. . Sorry Jeff the poor sound quality of this one has ruined a great Vid . Even the captions had trouble picking up what wax being said . Still loved the video not bagging You or new “Camera Girl “ in any way matey it’s the mics that’s had let ya down
This taxidermist is a master artist. I knew a taxidermist up in Idaho who was good but not this level good. I remember him and his wife saying that when they went full time, their deer and elk hunting dropped off to almost nil. They were working 7 days a week 10 or 12 hours a day taking animals in, caping them and doing everything required to run the business. Charlie said he missed the easy work of being a lumber jack. He could then hunt like his customers.
Jeff and his new camera girl.... That polar bear is huge.. FYI: Male polar bears can weigh up to 1800lbs, and are twice the size of females. Polar bears can also grow up to 10 feet long, making them the largest bear species and the largest land carnivore in the world.
On record, the largest polar bear ever caught was 9.8feet and weighed 2204lbs (999.71kg), just shy of 1000kg. There's pictures of the taxidermy bear online, its absolutely massive.
Not sure if it is true or they were having a little fun with me. I talked to first nations natives in northern Alaska and they said when they hunt polar bears what they do is - go out onto the ice pack, usually quite far until they find tracks big enough they are looking for and start tracking. when the tracks begin to curl back that means you have been winded and are now the hunted. Make your setup/stronghold and get ready cause he is coming. -50 degrees your rifles better work. Side note - there is a reason why they wear seal fur clothes. Wore a seal long coat in -30 degrees and was very warm just standing outside in the wind for a long time.
Looked like Jeff was in a candy store as he took all those meticulously constructed pieces of art into his obviously impressed with each one brain. There was a whole lot of knowledge, experience and attention to detail displayed in all those, and I know for me sometimes seeing what others can do to this level makes me/us feel small at the moment, but we all know Jeff is very capable of a whole lot of things just as impressive to many of us, hope Jeff feels that way, with all he is capable of doing. No idea how Jeff and Paige met, but what I'm seeing in just a few videos so far is a very good collaboration between content and videography. Preciate y'all!
My Taxidermists were a father and son named Weibel in Lake Owego, Oregon. The did everything from all over the world. What you saw in Canada was world class but so were the Weibels.
Jeff all I can say is you look like a kid in the world's largest candy store 😅😅😅😅. You are so aww struck it's awesome and your new camera girl is gorgeous and you look like a teenager when you're around her. I have to admit that I'm 52 and I would be the same way 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁. That taxidermist is totally amazing and yes I agree that you need to hunt white tail up there.
👍👍👍👍👍👍 Great tour Mr. Barron. We have moose here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Elk in upper and lower peninsula among many other species. Michigan
Back in 2003 I caught a 58 inch Muskie on the St Lawrence. Advanced Taxidermy made a replica of it for me. I would not trust anyone else to do it. They are the best!
Hey Jeff, I know you want to hunt in Canada now after seeing and hearing ethe size of the deer up there. Just stop by and pick me up on your way to Canada. I live in Michigan, so it's on your way. You know I'm just kidding with you. It would be awesome though to hunt with you. Love your channel, videos on hunting, building, of everything you build, especially love your cooking ones. Take care and be safe.
Ha, I used to live just up the road, on Hwy 10 and Boston Mills, northwest corner, big old Victorian house. I remember when that building used to be Bailey's Farm Market.
The first time I ever heard about this process was in the late 1980’s and they called it “Photodermy”. It was pretty rough looking back then but it sure has improved since!
Well Jeff, that was real nice to see and i will say i know a man that hunted bear forever one day he walked up on one accidently and the bear with one slice slit him neck to knees, well they had to put him back together and sew him up that was an awful thing to see that man is about 80 some years old now and he still hunts bear. thanks for the videos jeff..hey to hannah.
Well Jeff that is a awesome taxidermy Place yes them moose big animal I have heard that you stand inside of them with wood axe breaking the ribs out the animal after field dressing animal !!
It is just the iphone recording the video clips. If you notice whoever is closer, when speaking is louder, for the mic to pick it up clearer and louder. It's why the audio was going up and down.
That polar bear probably costs 10 grand and another grand to ship. I got two customers with bears in their living rooms. Strange customer of mine was arrested in Home Depot cause he had a baby bear on his shoulder. He just couldn’t understand why they took the cub away from him.
Wow!! These guys are master craftsmen when it comes to taxidermy. The amount of detail (especially on the fish), is just amazing. Very cool tour.. thanks Jeff!😉👍👍
Paige this is the COOLEST video ever!! Your family is the GOAT👍👀😳❤️
Jeff don’t even bother 😮😢
It's when you see folks standing beside these huge animals that you really appreciate just how big some of them actually are. Those brothers aren't just taxidermists, they're artists too. Great video, Jeff, thanks for sharing it.

This was so cool to watch Jeff. I live in Ontario, Canada and I hadn't heard them. Now I'm crazing their IG. Thanks Jeff.
We gotta get you and Hannah and everyone using some wireless lav mics. A little extra editing on the videos, but lots of times we could really benefit from making sure we hear all of the southern knowledge!
had to be said, TY
The teamwork of this new power couple is going to take this channel to another level!
I am blown away by the detail of those mounts. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Holy crap Jeff, that is totally amazing. I am so pleased you took us along. These guys are the best in the business. Record holders brought to them? Top of their game.

Michigan deer are probably about the same size, if not, just go down to Indiana. Indiana deer get pretty damn big, cornfed.
