  • In Washington, D.C., representatives from Canada, the United States and Finland sign a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on building icebreakers for the Arctic region.
    In attendance are Jean-Yves Duclos, Canada’s minister of public services and procurement, Alejandro Mayorkas, the U.S. secretary of homeland security, and Wille Rydman, Finland’s minister of economic affairs. They are joined by Amos Hochstein, a senior advisor to U.S. President Joe Biden.
