  • This is Perodua Kancil 660CC Engine. This engine partially not working well. At first I thought the Timing belt were gone since there was no pressure during the time I fired up the engine, But then after I take of the cover, everything is actually good. After several check up, the main caused the engine wont start is actually because of they wrongly adjust the valve to open. they keep every valve tight and that cause the valve intake and exhaust valve doesnt come on a right timing. Well that the main cause actually. Perhaps when you look at the engine , the oil leaking is quite terrible which is actually need yo clean up and replace a new gasket.
Btw at the end of this video, there were footage when i started the engine but if you listen carefully , the valve sound a bit loosen. But then i forgot to shot another video after i adjust the valve before the owner take took his car.
I hope you guys enjoy every video i made, If you guys has anything to share just let me know.
    thank you

I drive the Japanese-made Daihatsu MOVE with the larger 843 cc ED-20 which is basically identical to yours, except for the cylinder bore diameters. I could only obtain a pdf copy of the German-language shop manual which calls for the valves to be adjusted at operating temperature. The red arrow in the following image points to the specification for the inlet valve. The blue, of course, for the exhaust: i.imgur.com/0juKuCO.jpg I adjust mine cold, using the specifications from an older Honda 1200 cc engine of which comes close to the construction of my engine

So sorry for that. This one I’ve shot in Timelapse mode due to limited space on my camera storage on that time. But anyway i will shot a video in slower version in future. Stay tuned.
