Simply amazing! The raw power it has...wow! I didn't realize just how much traction control helps us. That guy was all over the place. All in all, this is my dream car for sure. Even the stock 545 HP GT-R, I will take without hesitation.
Get up to date idiot. Nobody over here is interested in running 1k only 1/4 and 1/2. AMS GTR hit 7.48 in 1/4 mile. UGR hit 234mph in 1/2 mile can any of your dream car hit that? No than STFU. An american Ford GT hit 278mph in 1k. So 254mph aint shit over here. UGR lambo almost hit that in 1/2 mile hahaha
+Larry Larson Thanks for the 7.48 update, just saw the video and thought 7.9x was still the record. Damn. It's really impressive. Now for the real questions though; (a) Is it still streetable and would they consider just completing Drag Week with a 7.xx average to prove a point? (b) Will this kinda 7-average be trickled down to Alpha 22 or Alpha 20 cars so they can get the same power and setup as the Omega has and will that be available at under $100k? I think the answer to (a) is a yes, but I dunno if AMS wanna do it, cause I feel confident that Freiburger would get them in, in the unlimited class, maybe even unlimited iron cause its all metal bodywork last I heard. Wrt to (b) I sadly think it will still be $150-200k and thus for "regular semi-rich" people that buy a built 7-8 second 1/4 mile car for Dragweek and/or street bragging rights and/or fun at a strip or pull races, an American car with a simple 427/555/572/632 TT (twin turbo) 2x 76->88 mm setup will still be the proven combo, cause its that much cheaper to buy, fixed and finished. A 572 TT is $37k at certain famous builders and can be hammered together for like half if you have good hands or friends with same. Add 20k for a donor car and cage and all the rest and maybe 10k for fab and install work if you do nada yourself and you got a comparable car to this one for $40-80k. That said I wish I had enough cash for an Alpha "22" (ie just what I assume the Alpha Omega has in it right now with the new billet block and their latest tricks and parts installed). It's really annoying that there has to be a religious war between the two different approaches, cause both have super cool appeals if done right.
To be honest spending all that money on a car then it breaking down and ruining your weekend would suck, no matter if it was 'cheaper' to fix. And cheap is probably the wrong word!, 'Shep' transmissions (who nearly all the high BHP GT-R's use) charge $30K just to upgrade a GT-R gearbox to handle this kind of power, and they still fail from time to time. Bugatti engineers tried to test the Veyrons gearbox to destruction, but after 200 full power launches in a row but had to give up as it was going dark (the gearbox and everything else was perfect). Like they say, you get what you pay for. For $100K for the car + $150K for the mods i would rather put my money into a 458 Italia, it would not cost as much to keep on the road and there would be little chance of issues no matter how you drove it at the track.
agree but i think you overdid it with the 'weekend' its not a supra its a supercar. plus everything comes down to how much you actually use the car. The 458 Italia will never have an acceleration or top speed comparable to this particular car but it will have more reliability. The AMS or Switzer GTRs who challenge hypercars are apprx. $160-180k. and the Switzer btw is much more reliable than any AMS GTR. Plus i agree on the Ferrari just for that sound, check out the Novitec F1 exhaust
SilentRage5050 I agree. Living with a car so fragile would put me off too much. I read about the Ukrainian tennis champion Alexandr Dolgopolov's AMS GT-R and despite throwing $150K and nearly $100K for a close to new car, he had hardly managed more than a few runs without major component failure. I could not belive these cars run a stock front diff which could go any run without warning. Some people actually appear believe that they are as reliable as a stock GTR! I totally agree one of Switzer 750/800BHP converstions is about as far as i would go with modifying if it was planning to use it daily.
That was my reaction, too. Whatever the true power actually is on this thing (1,100, 1,200 or 1,400), the rest of the car should be engineered to be up to the task. If I were spending these funds getting to this power, I would have brakes nearing IndyCar levels.
The guy doing the voice over sound's like he is giving a eulogy at a funeral, not talking about a massively powerful super car. How can you make a GTR sound boring?
Yeah that would be some fun fortunately it wouldn't be much fun for the guy in the lamborghini because lamborghini is no matter what you do to them they are still a grossly overpriced grossly overrated piece of s*** car they always have been they always will be..
If You guys @ Alpha can couple this kind of performance with a suspension setup, that can run or possibly beat the 6:57 nurburgring lap done by the Porsche 918 and still keep the 4wd characteristics of the R35, you guys will be gods in Japan.
And have Jeremy Clarkson's lard butt soil and darken the driver seat in this beautiful beast? never.... Just kidding. I like Jeremy.. I just like throw in a jab every now and then.
When they made the NISMO version of the GT-R, the first feedback from the test drivers were that aero and suspension should be improved before adding any power. As someone I know used to say, "companies didn't spend millions on research and development attaining the perfect balance so you can fuck it up with schoolboy mods"
no comment besides great job guys must off been a hell off a day out there i love what you guys have done, if i was too buy a gtr i would 100% consider having it sent through you guys too sort it out for me before receiving it awesome job !!!
needs a little more work on your fit and finish of your added parts, those welds look crappy on the turbo chargers, but!, love this beast none the less.
You clearly have never driven a fun car. When it comes down to throwing a hundred plus grand into a car, you don't give a shit about some time slip, you care about the raw adrenaline rush the car gives you. $20 says you'd literally shit your pants in the passenger seat of this car, then never want a fast car again.
o_O it has never let me down in since 2001. just got into shops for regular services.. and its my daily driver. for having fun i got my Z :p .. so stop hating. the little micra was and is my first love :p
vivalaphill oh oops, probably wasnt listening. idk why you would use something like this as a daily driver though. as much as i love things with high horsepower, i think around 600 is more than adequate, if we're considering comfort, noise, ease of driving etc.
vivalaphill I think he meant the guy in FL had the package done to his own GTR, not that particular one being tested in the video. So who knows if the FL guy's car has stock brakes?
Nobody cares what he was driving they will respect him just as much regardless...god gtr fanboys are ridiculous ...people would probably laugh if he crashed in a gtr one if the easiest cars to drive unlike a Carrera gt one if the most soul ful beautiful cars full of emotion that is also insane to drive
To everybody who says that this is a bad car because it is not very good on track: i bet you have never even sat in a car that has more than 200 hp. I guess you dont know what fun is. Look that up in a dictionary.
an almost 2 million car vs 300,000 gtr which, if tuned properly will last ages longer than that silly egg. It is a nissan after all and like the nsx is a daily driver supercar.
Towfiq Khan the Veyron is an ultimate car, you can make the GTR faster and more reliable, but it wont be as refined, as nice and as prestigious as a Veyron...
I love this car. When you have so much power that the car people call "boring because it is so controlled" stock is now ripping itself all over the track you know it's a beast hah.
This is the ultimate sportscar! Im not big on GTR's (im more into lightweight 4 cylinder cars) but there is nothing else in the $200,000 range that could even trail behind it! It costs less than a Murcielago and performs better than a $2,000,000 Veyron. Amazing!
And hey bro! I won't disagree, but relatively to the amount of HP and aftermarket mods to this car, this is the toughest and most reliable build for +1000HP, not mentioning that a lot of engineering has been put into the design, so it wasn't just your average day mods! AMS Performance
3rd Gen Guy your picture is of a camaro. A mass produced car driven by the kind of guy who brags about how loud his farts are. The one in your pic has the expression of a depressed boy who just found out the best thing he'll ever drive is a camaro.
I think he may have just talked me out of serious power mods ... Stopping at 800 whp may be it for me ... I would like to road course my car and other mods will be more important. BTW .. there are a ton of mods for pocket cars (cheap, light and don't care about wrecking) that can go straight really really fast. Now days toss in electric and that's an option also. But for those who love the sound .. the look .. daily drive ability .. etc nothing beats a fast GT car. Hyper / limited use sports cars are are cool but .. Watched this before, but after modding my car a bit ... this changed my focus ... it seems like there is more value in saying I have "1400hp" vs driving a 1400hp car.
There is a thing called maps when it comes to tuning. If you want 800whp, you can have 800whp with a map tuned to that torque level. Generally with bigger turbos come bigger lag, but newer technology in turbos these days is pretty freaking amazing. These days a turbo capable of almost tripling the whp of a stock GTR spools 400rpm later.
is the balance of where the power goes something the tuner has changed or could change? only issue i see repeatedly is too much to the rear wheels. if they had a more gradual power rise or there was just more tire traction at the rear the car might stay more track stable.
3:15 What is this "thing" on the top of the engine? Are the turbos compresing there the air? (I just started learning about engines, tuning and that stuff)
Nah the turbos are mounted down below to the exhaust piping. That's the intake manifold on top. The air that's been compressed by the turbo is fed up those pipes that you see there, into that manifold, and then down in to the engine.
DerPolacke apparently so! Not uncommon with big upgrades. You generally have to move some sensors around (or replace them with aftermarket units) and optimize everything for the system that is being used. You can only do so much with the stock cast manifold.
+DerPolacke no, you'd never blow up an intake manifold at those low pressure levels. even the stock one is made of metal. They've obviously changed it for utility and geometry. Go read up on the kit, it probably explains it.
AaaaaaHhhhhhh If only I had the money!! and this is the thoughts of most people who watch this video wether to knock it/love it you have to hand it to Nissan its one stunning car especially in black body/wheels and this from the people who make the Micra Well Done Nissan and please keep coming up with these motors.
Yeah I can see your reasoning, the reason the horsepower drain goes up with the power is that you are turning bigger heavier (stronger) drivetrain components, which clearly haven't been done properly in this car, but at the same time I don't doubt that those numbers are possible with an engine this size, remembering that the formula 1 cars were generating 1200+ hp with 1.5 litre engines in the 80's. Also german cars aka your Porsche tend to have very efficient drivetrains :)
My respects to this car. I am curious, do these motors at some point blow/breakdown due to all the power pumping out of it.? I would appreciate the info I love cars.
I just wanna ask a question!!! Is it possible to have a gtr AMS alpha 16 without having any engine - transmission - brakes problems? ( dead engine transmission issues ect ) I mean if the materials of gtr were stronger and if the materials could handle that amount of power .. Then could it be possible to have a gtr AMS alpha 16 without live with the fear that your engine will be murdered? I know that the cost of the AMS gtr alpha 16 would be more up than now but then would this AMS alpha 16 gtr live as long as a not tuned gtr? Thanks you :)
very true and why ppl compare a car that cost millions to one that cost a quarter of that. these engines are huge for a v6 and theyre well capable when built for the power to handle it for many miles you dont need 16 cylinders to make this power reliable a bbc or hemi etc can do the same without forced induction.
listen when he said bolting on racing stock parts was literal yes but what you don't realize is that how the oem test they're products aswell and as far as tuning isn't just slapping on race parts and hoping for the best well no you need to retune the computer and fuel system to work properly with the upgrades and as far as the rear diff going yes it could use upgrade there to help handle that power better but in a straight line for about 1.8 mil cheaper you could at least keep up with a veyron
AMS Knows what they are doing this is a test car for a reason the actual AMS shop car has the license plate "AMS GTR" and is stupid reliable makes me a proud a Chicagoan
Im guessing with the power weight ratio of this GTR and the amount of downforce it generates, you would have to use F1 race car technology to keep this beast on the road while navigating bends. Sacrifice some forward acceleration for lateral acceleration so it can actually take a bend without having to slow down so much.
Yes, you are. The HP differs due to how you want to look at it, crankshaft vs the wheels. Then you also get different HP due to the type of fuel you are using. If you listen the video you can infer all of that.
Not a big problem. Do you know the price of a new set of Veyron tires, or a standard service? You could do a total GT-R drivetrain rebuild for the cost of servicing a veyron.
I have always respected GTR's (Both Nissan & Skyline range, particularly from '92 onward) but really they are becoming more & more about tech driving you instead of you driving the tech. Now....I respect Japanese tech, because of the way they were able to showcase AWD turbocharged in-line 6's up against our Aussie V8 super-tourers way back in '94-'95 and changed the way we thought about a 6 cylinder taking on the high torque big-block bad boys. But now, they really have run the risk of falling into the trap of becoming the 'Every-mans' supercar. Being from Oz, I have always had a healthy love affair with Good 'Ole Boy American Muscle and as such, I feel SuperSnakes & ZR1's have become the true attainable 'Drivers' *QUOTE* affordable supercar experience. However, the upcoming 2014 Nismo may prove me wrong. Time will tell :)
that depends on the fuel used. some have higher octane than your regular petrol cuz they add alcohol. the octane depends on the mixture. the same car can be tuned to 1700bhp.
the shape of those bigger welds is a different type of weld usually on a manifold those welds look similar to some key areas on roll bars.........so yea im wondering why they are so rough too...
For what the Veyron Cost is, it would be easy to upgrade the parts that are stock/weak on this GTR. A new differential, upgraded aero parts, new suspension, brakes, etc and it would still be a fraction of the cost and could be put together a bit at a time. I would still rather have a modified GTR rather than a stock super car. Like they said it is meant to be instant incredibly power. Super cars are meant to balanced not extreme.
Engine hand built by master builder takumi, then tweaked by Bob.
XD HAHAHAHA!
HAHAHAHA!
funny comment
Hahaha indeed.
I just cant express how much i love nissan r35 gtrs
Spend $190k all up and comes with stock brakes. Hope it has a loud horn.
lol, that's good! and the high beams work to flash everyone out of the way!
It depends, you can add ceramic for some dough too...
I see the haters showed up!
Its a car scene what do you know ? Go play barbie dolls, save up ur money
Then just add brakes and your done
What's the issue.
Has a SICK sound...I love the part at the beginning when they zoom in on the exhaust pipes and rev the engine.
Simply amazing! The raw power it has...wow! I didn't realize just how much traction control helps us. That guy was all over the place. All in all, this is my dream car for sure. Even the stock 545 HP GT-R, I will take without hesitation.
3 years later alpha 20 GTR 2000+ hp
+NUCK CHORRIS
Show me a video of a Bobas golf run 7.48 or better with full interior than we can talk if not than stfu.
+Larry Larson a hygergine peroxide dragster can do 0-366mph 603kph in 3.5sec idoit
+Larry Larson ams alpha omega is their flagship and it does have 2000+
+Larry Larson Thanks for the 7.48 update, just saw the video and thought 7.9x was still the record. Damn. It's really impressive.
Now for the real questions though;
(a) Is it still streetable and would they consider just completing Drag Week with a 7.xx average to prove a point?
It's really annoying that there has to be a religious war between the two different approaches, cause both have super cool appeals if done right.
the amount of money you will need to buy and service the bugatti is the same as buying a GTR tuning it , and breaking it and then fixing it 20 times
Tell me about it
To be honest spending all that money on a car then it breaking down and ruining your weekend would suck, no matter if it was 'cheaper' to fix.
And cheap is probably the wrong word!, 'Shep' transmissions (who nearly all the high BHP GT-R's use) charge $30K just to upgrade a GT-R gearbox to handle this kind of power, and they still fail from time to time.

I agree.
But its still a Nissan........I couldn't even tell you if I saw a GTR on the road, becuz they aren't much to look at.
1400 horsepower? Why in the hell wouldn't you upgrade the brakes and suspension.
Already has huge brembos...
archinuk417 Huge brembos don't mean anything with 1400 horsepower. With that much power on tap I wouldn't be running anything but carbon ceramics.
sneakster1978 Who needs good brakes when you have 1400 hp... ;)
archinuk417 Eventually the girl will have to get out so you can clean up the passenger seat.
I really wish C&D would pit the AMS Alpha 16 GT-R (1840hp) vs. the UGR Stage 2 Race Gallardo (1750hp).
Yeah that would be some fun fortunately it wouldn't be much fun for the guy in the lamborghini because lamborghini is no matter what you do to them they are still a grossly overpriced grossly overrated piece of s*** car they always have been they always will be..
AMS and UGR are the best in the world
i love how its a v6
Would love to see The Stig drive this monster..
i appreciate that you didn't add any wing, body kits, etc. its a sexy beast
I played this video 50 times over just to keep hearing those exhaust flutters ..epic stuff yo
If You guys @ Alpha can couple this kind of performance with a suspension setup, that can run or possibly beat the 6:57 nurburgring lap done by the Porsche 918 and still keep the 4wd characteristics of the R35, you guys will be gods in Japan.
Oh and maintain everyday drivability and costs as well.
Dear Santa
No shit.
Who thumbs up this repetitive drivel?
give it to top gear uk and let them test it!!
And have Jeremy Clarkson's lard butt soil and darken the driver seat in this beautiful beast? never.... Just kidding. I like Jeremy.. I just like throw in a jab every now and then.
Fifth gear man !
JB GARRY Are you fucking kidding me?
Top gear America Tanner is the best driver. USA USA USA hahaha
Josh Jones Speak English dude.. lol
10:05 what a lovely sound. !!
Wow, the GT-R's driving looks so fun and exciting.
Cool engineering.
Stock breaks? That's asking for death. You even turned traction control off. You got serious balls dude.
The gtr has huge oversized brakes and anybody that owns one will tell you the brakes work great.
When they made the NISMO version of the GT-R, the first feedback from the test drivers were that aero and suspension should be improved before adding any power.
As someone I know used to say, "companies didn't spend millions on research and development attaining the perfect balance so you can fuck it up with schoolboy mods"
I need this car vs Koenigsegg Agera R!!!!! Anybody!
It would shit on that lilly ass overpriced koenigsegg agera, no competition.
no comment besides great job guys must off been a hell off a day out there i love what you guys have done, if i was too buy a gtr i would 100% consider having it sent through you guys too sort it out for me before receiving it awesome job !!!
I HAVE THIS EXACT BUILD ON MINE.. IT TOOK ME WEEKS TO LEARN HOW TO DRIVE IT.....SCARY DOESNT COVER IT..
I'm just wrapping my head around this guy having called me a sicko >: I
$200k GTR and you don't have a 0-60 time LOL.
needs a little more work on your fit and finish of your added parts, those welds look crappy on the turbo chargers, but!, love this beast none the less.
Omg the sound of that monster hitting rev limiter at 10:05 was just AMAZING!!!!!
1400 hp with Air Cond. Can't beat that. Definitely a street car man. Love the black.
If its slower around the track, what's the point?
You clearly have never driven a fun car. When it comes down to throwing a hundred plus grand into a car, you don't give a shit about some time slip, you care about the raw adrenaline rush the car gives you. $20 says you'd literally shit your pants in the passenger seat of this car, then never want a fast car again.
Yeah, cause a car that can't corner and blows its clutch every time you press it is a great idea.
Nick Wood get a scooter then.. corner like crazy
I have a sportbike.
sportbikes can't beat shit around a track.
We got the GTR back, now where is a new Supra.
R.I.P.
Bmw?
So?! Horsepower does ruin a car... so i'm sticking to my nissan micra :]
o_O it has never let me down in since 2001. just got into shops for regular services.. and its my daily driver. for having fun i got my Z :p .. so stop hating. the little micra was and is my first love :p
Basem Wasef has got to be one of the greatest Car Enthusiast writer's of all time.
love the turbo and bov sounds, wild!
Mate... 1100 hp is enough for presentation. Ok?
1400 hp. Are u paranoid or want to against the detail.
Try to sleep well.
hahahaa 1200hp and stock brakes ^^ thats how experts tune (slowly clapping)
well to be fair it isnt really meant for the road or circuit, it's meant for the drag strip, where you dont really need the best brakes
Jad Makarem he said he knows a guy who uses it as a daily driver?
vivalaphill oh oops, probably wasnt listening. idk why you would use something like this as a daily driver though. as much as i love things with high horsepower, i think around 600 is more than adequate, if we're considering comfort, noise, ease of driving etc.
Jad Makarem 1000+ is way over the top, the lag is probably enormous
vivalaphill
I think he meant the guy in FL had the package done to his own GTR, not that particular one being tested in the video. So who knows if the FL guy's car has stock brakes?
C'mon AMS......Koenigsegg vs. GTR!!! Lets settle this!!!
I was skeptical at the beginning of this video and i'm no fan of the GTR but DAMN this is one sexy Beast! I LOVE IT!
I was shaking my head the whole time with the biggest smile :)
So 100k doesnt get you upgraded brakes and suspension? What a rip off.
Claude V.
///AMG brakes are not just the rotors.....
Paul Walker should drive it in FF 6
ROCKETGUN MISSILE He`s definitely going to drive it in FF7...
I totally respect Paul Walker but he will earn even more respect if he killed by driving an alpha omega instead of riding a Porsche v10
You are the most ridiculous ///M fans.
Srry. But everyone will agree gtr fanboys are the cancer of the car enthusiast group most if em anyway
Typical American Tuner Mistake. Bump the power up and leave the brakes alone.
Super respect to any owner of Gtr .
I still watch this in 2018 ! Love this video lol
Test Driver should really consider wearing a helmet and setting a good example. He's handling an insane amount of power with no helmet....
Dear Santa:
...
9:18 thoe
I really like this guys attitude towards it, and how he didn't want to add any flashy shit to it.
Those twin turbos will keep me up tonight, amazing sound...
To everybody who says that this is a bad car because it is not very good on track: i bet you have never even sat in a car that has more than 200 hp. I guess you dont know what fun is. Look that up in a dictionary.
Badass gtr
annnnddd thats why the bugatti is clearly better than any tuned gtr. its designed to go fast, not to break on a track.
an almost 2 million car vs 300,000 gtr which, if tuned properly will last ages longer than that silly egg. It is a nissan after all and like the nsx is a daily driver supercar.
Towfiq Khan the Veyron is an ultimate car, you can make the GTR faster and more reliable, but it wont be as refined, as nice and as prestigious as a Veyron...
Towfiq Khan The NSX shouldn't be considered a supercar
name a F1 car that doesnt get rebuilt after every race
Paradox NZ this is not an F1 car? I dont see where you are going with this.
Amazing!
What does that button do? I'm not sure... what about this one? Oh... that just starts World War 3...
Soo much American non-sense, along with Underground Racing. cars with 99999999 hp that can't be put on the track, wasted power......
that car was build for a standing mile race not a fucking circuit, cant you tell the difference?
and BTW it makes 6 seconds on a quarter mile so talk about wasted horsepower... whats the time on a veyron on the quarter mile again? 9.9 secs
lmCIoudz is true maybe not all but 99% are dumb
Two words: Drag Racing
Lol apples to oranges. Drag racing, rolling races, and circuit racing
Mercedes AMG ripoff!!
hahah, good jokes
And hey bro! I won't disagree, but relatively to the amount of HP and aftermarket mods to this car, this is the toughest and most reliable build for +1000HP, not mentioning that a lot of engineering has been put into the design, so it wasn't just your average day mods! AMS Performance

...still not a manual
Because u could afford it if it was manual ? Fuck outta hers
MarkXmp lol did i say i could? all i did was express my disappointment that it only comes auto, dumbass
Lol tf? It'll still smoke any manual car out there
Martin Perez and? like that matters if you're not fully in control of the car
I don't think A manual transmision can't handle that amount of power
You can give a GTR 1400 Horsepower, but you can't ignore the ugly looking body styling and overall boring demeanor.
3rd Gen Guy your picture is of a camaro. A mass produced car driven by the kind of guy who brags about how loud his farts are. The one in your pic has the expression of a depressed boy who just found out the best thing he'll ever drive is a camaro.
Martin, you're a genius.
an abrupt onslaught of turbo boost...lol this car sounded amazing the whole time, whenever it sped up it's like a harmony.
The crowd Salute u Master... More of This !!!!!
This is by far the best sounding GTR I've ever heard
3:09 Dear God I nearly came hearing that twin turbo flutter/bov symphony. Music to my ears :D
I would love to see what this car could do it you put the best brakes and suspension money can buy into it.
zRouth yeah, it is called a 911 9ff......
The turbo sounds amazing
is the balance of where the power goes something the tuner has changed or could change?
only issue i see repeatedly is too much to the rear wheels.
if they had a more gradual power rise or there was just more tire traction
at the rear the car might stay more track stable.
Yes!! this is at our track..
What kind of mags are they? Plus brand and size :) they look amazing
Darwin Allen So they need to weld it specialy for these turbos ? O.o Damn.
DerPolacke apparently so! Not uncommon with big upgrades. You generally have to move some sensors around (or replace them with aftermarket units) and optimize everything for the system that is being used. You can only do so much with the stock cast manifold.
Darwin Allen So it's made to not blow the fk out of the normal ones?
+DerPolacke no, you'd never blow up an intake manifold at those low pressure levels. even the stock one is made of metal. They've obviously changed it for utility and geometry. Go read up on the kit, it probably explains it.
I Just Feel In Love to This Monster!!
More than double the HP? Those kits are nuts!
when i get rich this going be my first car....and im driving everwhere....GT-R for LIFE!!!!!!
It makes all the right noises!
I would still buy one. I could care less about having all that power. 545hp is fine with me. I just like the overall look of the car...its so sexy!
Thanks you :)
fast, reliable, cheap. pick two
very true and why ppl compare a car that cost millions to one that cost a quarter of that. these engines are huge for a v6 and theyre well capable when built for the power to handle it for many miles you dont need 16 cylinders to make this power reliable a bbc or hemi etc can do the same without forced induction.
listen when he said bolting on racing stock parts was literal yes but what you don't realize is that how the oem test they're products aswell and as far as tuning isn't just slapping on race parts and hoping for the best well no you need to retune the computer and fuel system to work properly with the upgrades and as far as the rear diff going yes it could use upgrade there to help handle that power better but in a straight line for about 1.8 mil cheaper you could at least keep up with a veyron
Also I'm new to the car enthusiast scene.... is this beast street legal or only for tracks???
this is the car i want when i grow up
Yes, you are. The HP differs due to how you want to look at it, crankshaft vs the wheels. Then you also get different HP due to the type of fuel you are using. If you listen the video you can infer all of that.
Actualy to straight things up they can't change engine over race season (Qualifitcation race etc.), however they can do betwen GP races.
Yes!!! This is at our track
Super cars are meant to balanced not extreme.
nice, i think i finally found an import that i would consider buying
Glad they kept the appearance stock/stealthy. Would be awesome to have one....so much for over compensating
This must be the nicest car I’ve seen
