+Derrion Brown Not only a raise, fire the other guy and just have her do it. It's actually rare to see an interviewer as good as her, who actually knows timing, doesn't interrupt and can move on the conversation almost seamlessly.
Stacey is such a natural at these round tables! She perfectly blend in & it's definitely not awkward to watch or cringe worthy! So yeah, you go Stacey!!
The reason this interviewer is my favorite on Roundtable is because she knows how to ask a question and then step back and allow everyone to listen. She may interject with a note for clarification or background, but she resists all the other traps to involve herself personally.
David Oyelowo is such an eloquent speaker and class-act. I loved hearing his perspective on the cultural and political impact Selma had around the world. He's so humble and dedicated to his work that it doesn't surprise me he such an extraordinary actor.
He sounds so terribly pretentious and full of himself to me I'm struggling to actually listen to what he's saying. He may be a great bloke, but the mannerisms he has...
I hate the term articulate to describe a black person. I find that it's said a lot as a compliment but it's more like an underhanded compliment; as if black people can't be articulate. Or I just may be looking too much into it
***** Looking too much into it. Tobi just said he was articulate. Then said he was happy that a fellow Nigerian was successful. A compliment is a compliment after all. Could be a lot worse.
***** I get what you're saying and I feel that way too at times but I think that there are people, regardless of race, who just speak extremely well. They're so good to the point you just love to hear them speak. They stand out above the basic way most other people talk.
the knick is such an underrated show...not a huge budget for it but the cinematography is outstanding and the character development might be the best ive seen in a tv show.
Justin Theroux's point that 24 episodes feels like too much is just great! That's exactly what I think as an audience member, most of the time there's a huge variation in quality when there are that many episodes.
itzpapalotl13 I'm watching the X-files on Netflix right now and it's the perfect personification of what's wrong with the 24-episode format. Don't get me wrong, LOOOVE the series, but there's only so much meat they can put into each season that, inevitably, there are a ton of filler episodes. It would have been a great 13-episode order.
You can tell Jon Voight respects David Oyellowo the most out of the other members of the roundtable. He has such a sincere smile when David is speaking.
Kinda thought the best part of this one was when they mentioned how great the interviewer was. They seemed to all be pretty comfortable with her. It was nice to see them giving her a shoulder pat too. I mean she doesn't need it or anything but it's a nice gesture I think.
One of my favourite Hollywood Reporter roundtables, mainly because the conversation developed so organically. We can thank Stacey (interviewer) for that
+Patricia Roca They've had a couple with a bunch of the TV actors - I recall one with Jon Hamm and Lizzy Caplan ( those two are enough to make *anyone* swoon)
amazing! a lot of talent around the table and finally an interviewer that gives time for each person to speak! is better to cover less questions but rather let them speak! they end up sharing more anyway
+AsianMovieNerd Bradley Cooper was great in that role. Usually actors are nominated more for the roles they play than purely for the quality of the performances, so it was nice to see Cooper get nom'd for a genre role. The main reason David O wasn't nominated was because it wasn't as high profile a movie, came at an ackward time in the nominations process. It's not a political or racist conspiracy.
I don't think the Oscars would care if the movie was high profile or not, their job was to judge whether someone was the best actor in that year. The main reason I think he never got nominated was because they never got the screeners in time which is true.
He is still not talking to you to this day?some people just cant stop being funny..Just natural charisma.Bob Odenkirk is just riddiculously underrated as a comedian in hollywood.
Nope they're all just very good. Taraji P Henson's performance as Jon Voight is the stand out performance for me, but Viola Davis' Clive Owen is also pretty good.
Something about these new sets reminds me of that _Five Characters in Search of an Exit_ Twilight Zone episode, has me imagining these actors trapped forever to talk about their careers, no escape, the eternal roundtable.
well... Bob can surely talk a lot! I like him as Jimmy / Sal, didn't watch any other shows they talked about. But I always take notes what to watch, thanks THR!
I find it interesting that Clive Owen is largely left out of all the discussion about 'character' vs 'leading man' issues, given that he was for a time a very successful leading man and has settled into less prominence, much moreso than the likes of Hutton or Voigt. I guess they don't want to draw attention to his decline in popularity, but he'd probably have the most to say on the matter given the spotlight.
she is easily the best host for these and the only one i care to see anymore. my my what a perfect round table. eloquence, patience, listening, intelligence and passion. with no politics, racial debate or inequality debate sexist debate or any other bullshit mainstream liberal question they have no business answering. IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE CRAFT! god bless they talked shop that's what made this a perfect roundtable the actors talked about acting and briefly about politics and jon voight carried it perfectly and ended it perfectly with a heartfelt conservative view and it was brief and they all just sat in content. perfect.
Love a roundtable! The Knick was an amazing series, also The Leftovers. Haven't seen the others I don't think...................????? Could I please order a round table with Eugene & Daniel Levy, Alexander Skarsgard & his amazing family, Tom Hardy, Jason & Justine Bateman, Jason Momoa, Tom Hiddleston, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mandy Patinkin, Claire Danes, Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, John Cleese, Josh Duhamel & Johnny Depp? How big are your round tables? I can keep going Lol Can we have a Directors Roundtable??? Cheers & I love ya work :)
Well done, Stacy on such a great job with keeping this real, asking thoughtful questions and letting creative people be creative. Also, thanks for getting rid of the creepy British guy (with the worst British accent) off of this show. He got whacked by Emma Thomson and many others anyway...so it was high time.
BOB AS JIMMY: .. HE IS A LOVING, LOYAL, HONEST PERSON.. ALSO DIS-HONEST, MIS-UNDERSTOOD..... BUT STILL LOYAL AND LOVING.. WE LOVE YOU BOB ... AND JIMMY... QUICK TIME.. THE BEST TV SERIES SINCE THE SOPRANOS..
It's exceptionally interesting to me that as of (Today's date 16th Set 2015) the interest in the Drama Actress Roundtable has well over double the interest in the Actor's viewing figure. Likewise, the Comedy Actress Roundtable has triple the viewing figures to the Comedy Actor's (171,801 to a mere 57, 336). I hope the TV Producers and the industry acknowledge this and take note. There is alot more interest in the work that the women are doing than what is shown with the men. Would be cool if the Actresses salaries reflected that of their male contemporaries, as it seems to be clear, by viewing figures, audiences are more than ready for Female protagonists.
Men wait for other men to speak is another observation that I make. The energy in the women’s round tables is different because we tend to get excited and want our ideas and thoughts to come out at the same time - just genuine excitement and energy.
Just a little picky here, but I really dislike how the camera moves with the light fixture in the shot. With that out of the way, I love all of these actors. I like to see any interviewer allow the guests to have the time they need to answer the questions.
Jon Voight is talking about dancing during the photoshoot and couldn't figure out who the artist was, I am hoping he just forgot because there is no way he doesn't know who Stevie Wonder is!!!
her topic example on Voights opinions … ffs, leave your agenda aside an enjoyable round table though … I like the angle of film actors now in quality TV
Got to like 1 minute of watching this roundtable when I realized that this clever sons of .-.** had put Justin Theroux and Jon Voight in the same roundtable! OOooohhh... How awkward it must be....
Really good interviewer Hollywood Reporter. Give her a raise.
Derrion Brown And she's a milf. hehe
+Derrion Brown Not only a raise, fire the other guy and just have her do it. It's actually rare to see an interviewer as good as her, who actually knows timing, doesn't interrupt and can move on the conversation almost seamlessly.
She's their best moderator
Stacey is such a natural at these round tables! She perfectly blend in & it's definitely not awkward to watch or cringe worthy! So yeah, you go Stacey!!
The reason this interviewer is my favorite on Roundtable is because she knows how to ask a question and then step back and allow everyone to listen. She may interject with a note for clarification or background, but she resists all the other traps to involve herself personally.
I like Stacey, a breath of fresh air on these roundtables
MsLm97 Here, here! She's so intelligent and quick witted and is a great interlocutor.
MsLm97 She asks interesting questions and then she actually listens!
itzpapalotl13 exactly, she seems like an intelligent classy lady
+MsLm97 They really need to let her do all of the Oscar roundtables too.
robert goyette fingers crossed, she'd be perfect for that
can't wait for awards season btw
David Oyelowo is such an eloquent speaker and class-act. I loved hearing his perspective on the cultural and political impact Selma had around the world. He's so humble and dedicated to his work that it doesn't surprise me he such an extraordinary actor.
Danielle Belisle Eloquent + Cristal clear British accent = winner
+Lechiffresix six English accent. No such thing as a British accent.
He sounds so terribly pretentious and full of himself to me I'm struggling to actually listen to what he's saying. He may be a great bloke, but the mannerisms he has...
He sounded very humble. I love this actor. His work is amazing!
She's such a great interviewer. I really enjoy her roundtables.
David Oyelowo is so smart
i like him so much more after this interview
Goddamn David Oyelowo is so articulate! Glad to see a fellow Nigerian doing so well. Fried plantain all the way!
Tobi Aramide I got so happy when I heard him say fried plantain because that is literally what I was thinking. Fav food in the world all the way
Tobi Aramide Naija ooooo..Naija..
I hate the term articulate to describe a black person. I find that it's said a lot as a compliment but it's more like an underhanded compliment; as if black people can't be articulate. Or I just may be looking too much into it

Im only here because bob odenkirk is a comedic genius! Loved this roundtable!
Justin Theroux's point that 24 episodes feels like too much is just great! That's exactly what I think as an audience member, most of the time there's a huge variation in quality when there are that many episodes.

I have Netflix. Which 13?
Damn everyone's clothes are on fleek. It's like a Mafia meeting lol
zilbra1 lmao 😂😂
Voight is the Don
they were going to awards after
You can tell Jon Voight respects David Oyellowo the most out of the other members of the roundtable. He has such a sincere smile when David is speaking.
UltimateKyuubiFox Jon Voight is a class act. Do you watch Ray Donovan by any chance?
BoB odenkirk deserves every award there is.
I really enjoy this interviewer! She's fantastic with the flow and the actors and actresses are comfortable with her. Great job THR!
I love david...so intelligent and humble....go naija!
older actors are always so charming and full of wisdom:)jon voight is the perfect example
too bad they skipped over him so many times
the setting is so minimalistic and classy and the cinematography is just
Kinda thought the best part of this one was when they mentioned how great the interviewer was. They seemed to all be pretty comfortable with her. It was nice to see them giving her a shoulder pat too. I mean she doesn't need it or anything but it's a nice gesture I think.
Would love to see something like this for Musicians and Recording Artist!!
Bob Odenkirk just slayed it in Better Call Saul!!!
He was dangerously stupid witty and heroic all at the same time❤️
One of my favourite Hollywood Reporter roundtables, mainly because the conversation developed so organically. We can thank Stacey (interviewer) for that
I really would like to see an actors+actress roundtable, all of them together
Patricia Roca Agreed. Me too.
Yeah, that would be interesting
+Patricia Roca They've had a couple with a bunch of the TV actors - I recall one with Jon Hamm and Lizzy Caplan ( those two are enough to make *anyone* swoon)
Raja MX oh wow I didn't know that! I'll check it out, thanks !
Patricia Roca See a lot of brown nosing puppet look alikes ive known
One of the best episodes is this one. All those fine gentlemen. Totally delightful conversation and as Jon Voight said.."well done Stacey".
omg, she is an amazing interviewer. i love her questions. I'm learning from every one of them.
Onde day...hope I will be in the round table! :)
Me too best wishes to you
amazing! a lot of talent around the table and finally an interviewer that gives time for each person to speak! is better to cover less questions but rather let them speak! they end up sharing more anyway
David Oyelowo got robbed of an Oscar nomination. Bradley Cooper in American Sniper....really?!

And they did .Bradley Cooper was better
Under represented people group not winning no shock for the Oscar committee.
The photographer did an excellent job with this group of stars. They all look at ease and the pics are well composed!
Yes, I agree. The mood is very simple but w/an elegant edge to them
Theroux is simply killing it on the second season of The Leftovers. I really hope he gets nominated after the snub for season 1.
came here just to see bobby o - stay strong!
This is the best roundtable ever.
Clive Owen could do ASMR content really really well.
I’ve always loved his work. First saw in PBS Mystery Second Sight
I love it this time a year. Finally a new roundtable!
I agree with Stacey- Ordinary People still is one of the most beautiful films ever made.
David is BRILLIANT. Gosh love that guy.
He is still not talking to you to this day?some people just cant stop being funny..Just natural charisma.Bob Odenkirk is just riddiculously underrated as a comedian in hollywood.
Thanks for uploading these roundtables, very useful information!!
there respect for each is amazingly refreshing
8:56 "Fears? I'm Clive Owen, don't you know who I am?"
title is kinda misleading ;)
Danetto Yes, they screwed up the name of the video, "Drama actress roundtable" was released last week on this channel.
Nope they're all just very good. Taraji P Henson's performance as Jon Voight is the stand out performance for me, but Viola Davis' Clive Owen is also pretty good.
Simon Wilson all jokes aside, this video is very good. made me watch ray donovan... great show
Something about these new sets reminds me of that _Five Characters in Search of an Exit_ Twilight Zone episode, has me imagining these actors trapped forever to talk about their careers, no escape, the eternal roundtable.
50:23 " I hope we aren't at a place where people aren't getting hired because of expressing an opinion". All of Hollywood needs to hear this.
*Stacey* is one of the the best hosts, *Bobs* one of the best guests. Brilliant, *champagne everyone!!!*
well... Bob can surely talk a lot! I like him as Jimmy / Sal, didn't watch any other shows they talked about. But I always take notes what to watch, thanks THR!
Check out the movie Nobody
It's amazing as Jon voight speaks. How everyone stares and are just mesmerized by his greatness
Oscar winner

PURE CLASS. all of this
Stacey is great but really do your research! "Clive you've never been the center piece of a television show before". Chancer anyone?
Always very interesting these roundtables!
Thanks
Well they are divas!
You may want to update the title of this video since the footage is of the actors roundtable, not actresses. :)
Great mix of personalities. Really enjoyed it.
Love a roundtable! The Knick was an amazing series, also The Leftovers. Haven't seen the others I don't think...................????? Man like David Oyelowo
This was a really good roundtable
This was a good one.
That was quite excellent

Very enjoyable to watch.
Bob ❤
Welcome to the Hollywood Roundtable with Bob Odenkirk and Clive Owen... and these other guys you don't care about.
JamesB00n we all ccare about them stoop lieing
JamesB00n you're cool.
Jamel Smith thanks man :D
@Johnson Taylor Because you're an asshole.
Well done, Stacy on such a great job with keeping this real, asking thoughtful questions and letting creative people be creative. Also, thanks for getting rid of the creepy British guy (with the worst British accent) off of this show. He got whacked by Emma Thomson and many others anyway...so it was high time.

BEST host by miles!!
Where is the comedy actress roundtable?, it should be out since yesterday. When are we gonna see it
Like so many of these guys ⭐️
Theme music track ?
All Round Classy.
Tim 💖
The Hollywood Reporter wrong title!
Why are they wearing tuxedos for an interview? Are they doing this prior to a big award ceremony?
THR ask them to wear a certain colour
geeez this foo ate the first 5 minutes up for reall!!!!??!?!!? hes badass tho
Broccoli!! lol too good, literally.
Men wait for other men to speak is another observation that I make. The energy in the women’s round tables is different because we tend to get excited and want our ideas and thoughts to come out at the same time - just genuine excitement and energy.
Watch the other roundtables so you can see it has nothing to do with gender. It just depends on the people they put them with.
david representing my country,nigeria
Jon Voight will always be Bud Kilmer to me. An absolute legend.
Just a little picky here, but I really dislike how the camera moves with the light fixture in the shot. With that out of the way, I love all of these actors. I like to see any interviewer allow the guests to have the time they need to answer the questions.
Most of the actual nominees aren't there. Can the Emmys please give Kyle Chandler some love?
Who are they, and what did they do? What's their youtube channel?
Don't they have their own forum? Why are they invading youtube?
Bob needs more water!
Hate to say it, but Jon Voight could play Trump in a biopic...
0:13 Sade - Cherry Pie , всем добра!
Jon Voight is talking about dancing during the photoshoot and couldn't figure out who the artist was, I am hoping he just forgot because there is no way he doesn't know who Stevie Wonder is!!!
Why does john voight seem to avoid looking at David even after he asks him a direct question and then trails off withouth adressing it...
+Allistarify why do u overanalyza things?
"I hope people don't get rejected for an opinion"
Oh boy..... that didn't age well.
her topic example on Voights opinions … ffs, leave your agenda aside
an enjoyable round table though … I like the angle of film actors now in quality TV
Fried Plantains!
The lib moderator had me convinced she was never going to call on Jon Voight...
Gotta fix that title.
Shame Voight would go cra-aaazy a few years later.
This is a roundtable moderated by Claire Underwood
Got to like 1 minute of watching this roundtable when I realized that this clever sons of .-.** had put Justin Theroux and Jon Voight in the same roundtable! OOooohhh... How awkward it must be....
Why?
@@KLLKY Prolly because Jon's daughter is an Ex of Brad Pitt and Justin's Ex is an Ex of Brad Pitt...
omg why did they let that old man embarrass himself like that?
