- When this man inherited an old worn-down cabin from his grandfather, he was laughed at immensely. His siblings all got plenty of worth when the old man died. So naturally they made fun of the man and his wooden shack. But then he looked inside and got the last laugh!

I am very proud that he did what he did. Very happy he wasn't as greedy as his siblings. Thanks for sharing. ❤ He did the right thing. 😊
You have a kind and optimistic heart. I'm glad I saw you, and I hope the world will see more of you.
OMG, what an id...ot. Do you REALLY think it's real????
Well there's 13 minutes of my life I'd like to have back!
Exactly 🙄
I was going to say the same thing, but only 11:42. I bailed early
To bad your shallowness shines forth so brightly!
And this why you play it at 1.5 speed 😂😂
@steveschaefer1515 well there's 8.5 minutes of my life I'd like to have back! Lol
greatful he didn't sell what his grandfather took a lifetime to get. GOD BLESS.

Hello Cathy, how are you doing
You're grateful? Like you somehow have a stake in the matter. First of all this is a fake story none of its real. The hilarious part is you guys bought it hook line and sinker. No red flags came up in your mind. You just take it all at face value trustingly and never consider Googling it or finding out if any of these items are in a private collection or whether or not they exist at all. Clearly you guys all lack critical thinking skills and Common Sense. Spoiler alert these items are may or may not be real some are believed to be buried with the historical person in undiscovered tombs and other items are believed to be in the possession of churches. But absolutely none of it is in a private collection. You see the guy telling the story went too far by describing historical objects by name. Which are easily traced
It's such a lovely story ❤️ 💕 😍 ♥️ 💖 💗 ❤️ 💕 😍 ♥️ 💖 💗 ❤️ 💕 😍 ♥️ 💖 💗 ❤️ 💕 😍 ♥️ 💖 💗 ❤️ 💕 😍 and heart-warming,absolutely love this one...
@@JuliaSimpson-d7n oh brother, some of you people will believe just about anything

@@theposhhead6308You watched the story though didn't you .click bait got you
If this is true which I doubt this is probably another i a IA the guy that inherited the cabin was an idiot

That's my motto and I'm sticking to it
@@theposhhead6308As if you would know. You can't even construct a coherent sentence. L0S3R.
The storyteller dragged that on for so long I lost interest real quick
He's trying, but I agree. Less is more. (We do not need to know which direction a knob was turned, etc...)
Agreed, story telling is an art and this story has way too much B.S. in it.
Unnecessary lengthy insignificant details !

Ok!
I would love the cabin and the peace and privacy of ownership
Mooooo. Me too
I'd be wondering about Bigfoot out there.

Yall sound like me.
I'd be perfectly happy with just the cabin alone. Memories are worth a whole lot more than that to some of us.
Same here but I would want to fresh it up a little bit and make it look nice!
Agree with you on that
It looked like hid grandfather liked it. It probably made him feel his grandfather's spirit. I understand.
Its a fictional click bait story. None of it real
Nice cabin in the Woods. A Place to Relax ...😅
How absolutely wonderful to have a beloved grandson love and cherish you knowing you would do the right thing. How rare and beautiful ❤
Dang I guess you'll believe anything. You just accept this story you don't even try to Google it or find out where these items are that they claim exist. Spoiler alert they don't know for sure if any of those items exist but are believed to be in various churches. They are not in a private collection. And this is what's wrong with the world today you guys will believe anything
@@jamesbowen5573 Here it is a robotic voice and fake pictures and people shown, this is just a story to give a message, a thought of what life can be to us, if we are not over materialistic, we may see more value in things. an not be as greedy as most are today. But doubt very much, it is a true story,
No one in their right mind would ever show a treasure trove like that to greedy family members.
True, how could you trust them, when they seem like wolves who just saw some meat! They would break in any chance they could get. Jealousy but they thought thier brother got much less, and to them that was cause to chuckle before.
This shows how you cannot tell money people, by how a person looks or thinks or even acts. They may have more than those who think they have it all. Some do not wear it on thier sleeve. Or anywhere else, they keep it in thier heart and know thier worth.
I agree my. dad left me some money in a safe Do you think I’m wrong for keeping it to myself?he told me specifically what’s in the safe is yours
I gave up my home to take care of my dad after he passed we had to sell the house due to greediness everybody benefited from the sell but me they all had a home now I live with my kids
@@Arleen-qm3lw what's yours is yours as the saying goes.
I actually enjoyed the story! Maybe it's because I appreciate it the same way Grandpa & Grandson did. I'd love to see a museum full of Grandpa's treasures. Honestly, the biggest treasure is the cabin, lake, fishing poles, even boating. Enjoying the entire property with ATVs and just living!
i would have refurbished the cabin and lived in it
I inherited exactly NOTHING from my mom or dad even though I loaned my dad $10,000 and sent him cash every month. My dad's second wife(bar fly) made sure I did not receive anything. Fine by me. At someone's death the worst behavior comes out from supposed loved ones.
I have over $1,000,000 set up in trusts for my grandson, 3 stepsons(one deceased but his children receive his share, per stirpes). The amounts are based on over 25 years of being their stepdad and how well they treated their mother.
You got nothing?
Sounds good 👍
Made up yarn and simple story with greedy relatives and good guy who sticks it to relatives. Think click bait.
You eventually need to get rid of your bitter feelings of the past or it will destroy your life. Your life is Now!
Sounds like you did well. You obviously didn't need money, so be happy you were a hard worker, good saver, and I'm sure had some luck, to not NEED to inherit money. Maybe that was taken into consideration when writing the will. 3 kids doing equally well, you give them equal amounts. But 2 kids just getting by while one has accumulated substantial wealth, you don't give equally. Inheritance size is not equated with love, but rather common sense.
Greedy people gets less. Love this story. I also come from a family similar to this. I would have never taken my family there in the first place. The memories of spending time with his grandpa is more valuable than the money or cars. Andrew got the best end of the death of his grandpa.
This is the stupidest story I’ve ever heard. How fake do you want it ? Cleopatras staff ???? This guy must’ve been a Nazi and took the treasurer’s when he fled Germany
❤✌️🌎✨️Love you still Grandpa Peter Caren Christensen! Thanks for the memories!

THEY SHOWED 2 DIFFERENT CABINS HERE . THE FIRST WAS A VERY NICE RED LOG CABIN ON A WELL MAINTAINED STONE BASE . THE SECOND WAS A BROKEN DOWN DUMP OF A PLACE , BUILT RIGHT ON THE GROUND . I THINK THIS WHOLE STORY IS FICTIONAL

How. Long exactly did it take to figure that one?
HMMMM......YA THINK?
Cleopatras staff, Alexander the Great's sword, a piece of Jesus' robe? REALLY? The Vatican has owned the only garment believed to belong to Jesus Christ, since the 11th century. It is a one-piece tunic type garment with no part missing and is kept in a climate controlled container.
totally
Family so rude. Proud of this man. A cabin a blessing
How can I make sure this channel is never recommended to me again?

Grandfather had a secret bunker under the cabin with lots of expensive artifacts. That's all folks. You're welcomed.

That's exactly why he got everything from his grandpa, grandpa knew him better than anyone else did! He is smiling, down on him! Aloha from Hawaii!

Apparently, 13 minutes and 11 seconds.
Or, 10 minutes longer than it should've. =)

So you also talking s*** about books because they take forever to get to the story ending and everything the dude is a storyteller if you don't like it change it

Somebody please give me a worn cabin to live in please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
reminds me of one of those rambling norm MacDonald jokes he tells only this one had no punch line. the main reason this is not a real story is nobody would leave artifacts like that in a cabin with no sort of security. nobody would just leave the cabin and not mention the items.
So cool I would have to smile at my siblings every time I see them .

Once again, I have been a victim of click bait!
You shouldn't be so gulable. And no I didn't fall for it' I was sent here by the wise one to warn you of such.
The problem with this story is the age of the cabin. If a basement was build under the dirt like most basements and then the cabin was built, the basement walls would be as old as the cabin. Therefore they might possible leak over many many years. Look at the decay of the posts at the waters edge. Makes you think a little. There are a few flaws in this story. But nice idea about grandpa doing what he did. My brother was a total jerk when our mom and dad needed help. They spent 40 years within 10 miles away from my brother and he never came over to take them to dinner or a show or anything nice. He got nothing. Mom and dad were not rich but at least brother got nothing.
3 or 4 steel I beams under cabin extending 3 or 4 feet on each side to support cabin. Excavate , poor foundation, remove beams then patch where beams were. A lot of work but possible. Edit- actually he could of just used some big timbers from property instead of steel I beams.

Cleopatra's staff, Alexander The Great's sword and the Shroud of Turin? Did grandpa live in The Vatican basement by any chance? 🤣😂🤣
What a bunch of ingrates......pitiful to laugh at someone who would bestow such a gift to them and even the faithful grandson to think what he did at the start. The faithful grandson letting his siblings AND parents stew in their own juices of pride and mockery was priceless. (This sounds like something I'm planning upon my parting this life to my boys who do not even speak with me and all I'm guilty of was trying to love them, especially my youngest son who also despises his own mother who was very good to him.) OMG OMG OMG....yes, my sons will pay for their selfish ways thinking they are the educated ones and are better than me. Admittedly so, I am of the old school ways like back to the 70's, 60's and 50's. What a story about this young man and grandfather......
13 minutes? 4 in and I've had enough. Now I'm going to go take a bath after working outside on the 20 acres my dad left me.

@@theposhhead6308 maybe stories like this teach poor behavior.
Perhaps his Grandfather wanted to keep his favorite family member humble for as long as he could. To remind him to stay curious & open to adventure...to know, money is helpful but it is not all. It can stain the soul, darken it. As he shared a love for history with his Grandfather I anticipate he'd know that's the history of man, greed. I wouldn't trust my family if they were like this! Stoked he stayed humble
National Treasure III (We just need Nicholas Cage.)
My grandad had a cabin he built with family and his brothers up in Wood edge Wyoming. He built it as he was recovering from throat cancer where they removed his voice box and he would go around different placesin Wyo to teach others without voice box how to talk by burp talking. Medical advances have improved so much but I wish my grandparents could have left the cabin and all the great fishing spots , beaver ponds, that I grew up fishing on as child.Byron Anderson was ole school from Nebraska and was built of a different soul than new generations have not half his heart and soul. The cabin was an amazing build with real outhouse two seater, wood storage and chopping a few yards from the back door. Grandpa had an encounter with a bear banging his rear through the back screen door. Grandpa grabbed his pan shovel from behind the door and whacked the bear in the butt and the bear flew/ jumped over 4 steps to run off to the woods. Oh the memories.
OMG does anyone actually believe this story is true? This is the sort of fiction i used to write in high school. Alexander the Great's sword? A cloth that belonged to Jesus Christ?
This is hilariously elaborate but hardly believable.

Good story. It reminds me of Christmas 1973, after my father died. Our family met at my apartment to exchange Christmas gifts. My mother gave my brother and me an envelope, apiece. Upon opening it I found it contained a check for $500. I looked at my younger brother and asked him” Dave, what are you going to do with your thousand?” The look on his face said everything. Even though Mother always gave use equal gifts, he was not sure. It was only after all gifts had been exchanged did I tell him the truth and I had to show him my check for $500 before he truly believed it. That’s what you get for being a draft dodging weasel, David. 😢
