Got mine today and absolutely love it. Watching a proper 4k video via the RUclips app is mind blowing. I've honestly never seen graphics like it. As for gaming: I currently have a Rtx 2070S so I'm only getting between 30-60 fps playing games in 4K. It's perfectly playable for now but I look forward to being able to pull the trigger on one of the new RTX 4000 series cards when they're available.
Dear Samsung, when will the Input of more than one HDMI Source at the same time be possible and added to the Samsung Odyssey Ark? For PC Users to have like serveral Screens aka extended desktops for Streaming with OBS for example.
Definitely picking this up. What's the point in having multiple monitors if you can get 3 - 4 on one screen? The specs and features alone are worth it. You can even shift between the ratios instead of only being locked with one like with other monitors. This saves me having to have a lot of wires all over the place. If they were going with the minimalist route, this definitely does the job!
Do your research before buying - You can only have one HDMI port as a source at a time, so you can't split your sources among more than one. It is nice having 55" of real estate as a monitor but keep in mind - cockpit mode is horribly broken and super dim, the dial doesn't work at all like you'd expect, and the software in general is still what I'd call alpha. If you plan on using it for anything other than a big HDMI monitor or television, you'll be very disappointed.
@Samsung Where is Display Port if it's a gaming monitor? And with only 1 main hdmi input, it's not 3 monitors, it's one 55 inch TV.

So True only DisplayPort 2.0 allows 4K 165Hz whereas the HDMI 2.1 allows only 4K 120 Hz MAX 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 That's a very bad move from Samsung they have a 165Hz screen and we can't even reach this with their stupid HDMI Ports
Would be nice if it was 6k or 8k. Or maybe I'll pick this up if it's on sale. Too expensive at this price point for just a 4k with some glamour and stuff.
So serious question, does the odyssey ark monitors hook together? I'm just picturing 3 of these in portrait mode, but requiring 3 of the arc dials and remotes might be a bit much
Yeah my problem with this monitor is that it will show my pc screen properly for about five minutes then it will flicker black and say it lost signal and keep switching between that and my pc I have still yet to find a fix for this.
I would insta buy this if multiple hdmi sources are supported. Would love to have a screen that extends my laptop screen while also hooked up to my PC and to my switch. So that I can use them all together without switching sources all the time. Make it happen Samsung

I can't install or any apps because the "Smart Hub is updating" (Which appears to have affected Tizen since 2019). I can't for the life of me figure out how to use the dial controller reliably - Sometimes scrolling moves the window around, sometimes it affects what's highlighted (i.e., it changes the channel on Samsung's TV thing). I can't open a support ticket because Samsung's system doesn't recognize my model or serial number even though I registered the monitor with Samsung. This is an insane fail for something so expensive - I'm thinking that all the reviews I've watched prior to purchase (looking at you, @linustechtips) were curated with Samsung's assistance because there's no way a normal human could figure this all out.

@@shub2284 I just rebuilt my PC with a 3090 card and am currently at 165hz (technically 164.99) with an HDMI High Speed cable. I ordered some Ultra High Speed cables but they won't be here till Wednesday. My options in Windows are 30/60/120 and 164.99. Not sure if 144 would show up for you or not. That being said, everything else about this monitor is terrible and I can't recommend that anyone buy it until Samsung fixes the software.
tbh this is the best monitor ever made samsung but you have to make that motherfucker lighter 40+kg is crazy my desk holds it but man it got to get lighter maybe like 25kg
