I have 61 dreads currently. 9 are all my own hair, 12 extensions were created with kk smooth seal braid hair, and 40 were made using 3 sets of your crochet end extensions as a permanent install and I LOVE THEM! Yours are by far the softest of my baby locs ♥️
This is without a doubt the most informative synth-dread video I've ever seen, and you have definitely given me some serious food for thought. Oh, and that array of dreads behind you is to die for! I'm going to have a hard time making a decision on what to buy first, but I do love the combo of dreads and braids, and you have every right to be proud of such outstanding work. Thanks for the knowledge-share!
Omgoodness I Truly enjoyed this video! I'm in the process of researching dreads because this is the style I want right now so I'm doing a little bit of homework and this video was extremely informative!!😊 Thank you for sharing
I’m so happy I found this video 😊 you do amazing work, and the hair you use is beautiful. I have bought so much synthetic and have thrown out or used them for other products. I am definitely going to purchase from you, sometimes it’s just easier when working alone to by from a good artist like you who knows her shyt. The other 2 that say high heat from Wish, Amazon ect are so bad the actually look better in video also, I’ve tried to smooth those out with a straightening iron on low setting because of that itchy velcro feeling you mentioned and the just melt to a hard plastic, some actually feel like Brillo Pads people need to know those are dangerous and they should be installed near the scalp at all. I can’t wait to buy a set of yours for filler pieces To add to my natural locs the blonde set you held up is my hair color but I also like to mix different shades. I’m also going to give to my good clients to try and see how they like them before I buy bulk. I love working with natural hair but synthetics are not as easy for me for whatever reason I know many loc artists plus saves us time and we all make money. I believe in sharing the love. Your prices are very good, it’s good for me because I like to make it affordable for clients to get their hair done and their is a story why and how I got into doing locs about 6 years ago. Awesome Video & Work. Blessings 😊
I’m only 30 mins from you! Ugh I wish I would have found this sooner. I would have ordered from you because I love supporting local. I am now following you. Maybe next time.
hey! i know im late.. i started making my own synthetic dreadlocks but theyre so stiff. theyre not scratchy at all in my opinion. i tried using both methods (''locking'' and '''felting') and the felting method just looks better to me. is there a way to make them softer? i tried boiling water, laundry softener, steaming them etc but nothing seems to help that much :( thank you!!
What color or color # are the double-ended braid/loc extensions that you made? I'm seeking a synthetic platinum blonde braiding hair. Your extensions are beautiful and have a wonderful natural look to them.
Those can be ordered in any color or blend, I just overhauled the website so you can see all the new ones I have added: www.dreadnaughtyhair.com/colors
I'm having a very hard time finding good hair for my handmade synthetic locs. Especially in extra long lengths. Can you recommend a good online vendor for good hair? Particularly in very long lengths.
It's tough right now, I use IKickShins for weird colors I can't get locally, but all brands have been really unreliable with being shorter than before, or being cut with more shiny material. I had to give up on the brand I was wholesaling from because the quality tanked. Mostly what I do, is I will find little wig shops tucked away that still have some of the old stock, and I will buy them out.
