Ik draag al meer dan 10 jaar af en aan dreadlocks. Een lange tijd van mijn eigen haar en nu al een behoorlijke tijd synthetische. Ik heb altijd Dreadshop in de gaten gehouden, maar nu ik die 70 cm dreads zie: wow. Ik zal wel flink moeten sparen voor een volle set, maar wat een droomdreads!

I finnally did itttt!!! Ive been watching your videos since this one came out and i kept telling myself my hair needed to be longer and thicker but i finnally put the dreads in!! It feels great!

@@dreadshop My pleasure. I only wish there was someone near me thats a trusted dreadlock installer. Sadly, I'm still locked up at home with a compromised immune system; but at least it has forced me to finally grow out my starter hair for the dreads. Maybe by the time this is all over, I will just plan a trip the Netherlands and have my dreads done the right way. (thank you also for all the tutorials too on making synthetic dreadlocks; has been a lifesaver for keeping myself busy the last few months. still so much to learn though). Stay safe. I had dreads done years ago. End of 6 weeks I was very pleased to take them out & feel my own hair. I said after I undid them, never again. Now I’m toying with having them done again. Heheh!
Question for you all: how long is your own hair before you placed all these extensions ?
Haha, I can completely understand! They're so much fun to wear! Your hair needs to be at least 8 cm / 3 inch to wear these extensions. Our own hair is a bit longer, around shoulder length.

I understand the double ended dreads are for more volume... So if someone wants a lot of volume why would they even get single-ended. Does it look nicer in the front with single-ended?
Mainly because it's more comfortable to wear Single ended in your neck and above your ears where the hair is fine and the scalp more sensitive :)
