I am so happy to see your results. I was initially booked with Longevita but then I came across your video then after watching your progress, I switched to Heva. I will be going for my procedure next month, and after seeing your growth today I am even more excited to go. I am just dreading the pain from the needles but really, I think it will be worth it. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us ❤.
You were so disappointed after month 3, I am so happy that you are starting to see the results. Other RUclips peeps who have had the transplant don’t tend to see great results until month 4 and after.
Thank you!!! Me too, lol. You're so right. I don't know why I was expecting to see something worth being happy about at month 3. I think it goes back to the point that I don't inspect my hair during the month, only when I do these monthly reviews, so in my head because each month goes by slowly in some ways (fast in others), I thought it would look "better" than it did and then seeing it the way it was was a bit of a reality check.
Aww blesss you hun. Congratulations! You have a really good result. Keep it going. Im right behind you. Mine is not as full, but there is definitely stuff happening. 😊
Thank you, hun! I'm totally surprised too! Brilliant- I wish I'd starting taking the vitamins right from day one, but never mind. Nutrition makes a lot of difference to hair growth and health- I've noticed my nails are strong and seem to be growing a bit faster- not many people mention it in their haircare videos.
Your results for 4 months are some of the best I've seen. I'm considering going to heva because of you try not to stress because your still very early in the process and stress can lead to hairloss also
Thank you!!! You're so right. Unfortunately, I've been really stressed over a number of months for various reasons, so it's too late for me to not get stressed, but going forward I will try my best yo change that x
Looks good! I also went to heva. 2.5 months post surgery. When did you start using conditioner on your donor area? And is it okay to do so after 2/3 months?
Thank youuuu. Aw, congrats! It was about 2.5 months post my transplant 😊 I lost the instructions the clinic gave me, so I couldn't refer back to what they instructed me (and didn't feel like reaching out to aftercare). My head seems to be fine, so I believe it is! Trust your instinct, though, and perferably ask aftercare for their view as well x
@@TheWellnessAbbey thank you!!! I started to use shea moisture leave in conditioner on my head except the transplanted area, I reached out to aftercare but they only reply monday-friday so i have to wait for one day. But your hair looks very good! I’m so happy to see the happiness on your face in the video! Keep us updated and best of luck on your journey!🙏🏾❤️
Same- initially I didn't apply that much to my transplanted area and when I did- I tried to ensure the product didn't actually touch my scalp as I didn't want to block the pores. Thank you! Ah, thanks very much! It's crazy how so much rides on our hair but for a lot of us our hair is our beauty! Thank you! Will do xxx
@@TheWellnessAbbeyi will try and do the same! Thank you :). And that’s right… Hair is such a big peace of my confidence. I lost my corners and after that i haven’t feel comfortable with my hair, so i will be so happy when i’m getting my hairline back🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you!!! No, I didn't derma roll or use minoxidil. I actually derma rolled before deciding to get the transplant and honestly I feel like it made my temples worse- it was like the last straw for them...
Your hair looks great!!! Did you have to get u s currency transfer to Turkish currency? Did you have to purchase a travel visa Before going to turkey? I'm Really liking your hair results. You keep smiling because you're a beautiful black woman. I'm really feeling your confidence. You were your crown well.
Thank youl!! I paid for the transplant in US dollars, as the price they quoted me was in dollars. I only exchanged my spending money before I went as the cash machines in Turkey will charge you for that. I live in the UK, so didn't need to purchase a travel visa, but if I remember correctly US citizens need to. Thank you so much!! 😊😊
No problem! Thank you!!! They say that if you pay by card you'll incur something like a Turkish medical fee, so you'll end up paying more for the surgery, so to avoid that being added to your bill they advise to pay in cash. The deposit though is paid for electronically because that's paid in order to book your surgery date. 👍🏽
Hi! May I ask, did the doctors do your incisions? I go in January and wanting to compare if the techs are okay to do it or if I should pay extra for the doctors. Or should I say, is it all the same???
Hey, it was a male doctor that did my incision. Unfortunately, I'm not sure of who it was but it wasn't the female technicians. I personally wouldn't pay extra but that's just me!
Maybe I missed it in the previous videos but can you tell me about the numbing process? I’m very nervous about the needles. Also, after the surgery, did you need to go in everyday for the rest of your trip?
Hey. They just injected the anaesthetic into my scalp- starting with the back before extracting the follicles and then later on the front to make the small incisions and implant the follicles. They also gave me a Xanax tablet right before they started injecting the back- I don’t know if it helped as it was literally a couple of minutes before. I couldn’t see the needles as you’ll be laying down. It was painful though, I can’t lie. Maybe an 8 out of 10, and sometimes a 9. Not sure how long in terms of minutes it took but it feels like maybe 5 minutes or so for the back, and another 5 for the front. It feels long though cz it’s painful. They will have to re-inject you if the numbing starts to wear off during the day- which it did for me and another RUclipsr I watched. No, you just go back once for the head “wash” and to remove the bandage 😊
@@TheWellnessAbbey they told me they can sedate me until the anesthesia kicks in for $200 extra. I wonder if its even worth it. If you could go back in time would you do that?
Oh yeah, I asked them about the pain free option (I think it's needle free) and they said it would be $300 extra. Not sure if that's the same thing you're referring to. I decided against paying extra because 1) Heva charges more than the other clinic I was considering, so I was already paying more and 2) there have been 100s if not 1000s of people who have got hair transplants done before us without using the pain free option- if they were somehow able to bear the pain and get through it, we're definitely about to get through it too! It's about believing in yourself. However,,,,, if you know yourself and just KNOW you won't be able to bear it, I suggest paying the extra cash 😁
At the clinic while they're doing it? I don't think Turkish clinics will be able to incorporate that / allow you time for that before starting the procedure, lol. Heva seemed to be very process focused in terms of getting the room ready and starting the procedure. Maybe it can be something that can be done if you have it in the UK or US or something, but i really dont think it'snecessary honestly. If your body has been in pain before e.g. due to an accident, dysmenorrhoea, child birth etc. you can definetely go through this. If you mean hypnotised after the procedure like during recovery, I'm not sure what the benefit of that would be, sorry. Don't worry about any hypnosis, though! Just go for it and bear the pain- it's only for a short period of time when we think about the whole span of life 😁 believe that you're strong enough to go through it!
I was a bit unsure about mine also, until I realised that they literally draw on your existing hairline and so mirror that. It looks weird because before hair loss, the hair there would have been baby hair which is much more sparse and fine than an artificial hairline with translanted hairs. What do Longevita do- do they make it more graduated?

My fault for not clarifying… I was referring to the uncontrollable urge you have to pull out your hair.
Oh I see!!! That's a good shout actually, but I personally feel a bit sceptical of hypnosis on myself personally. It will probably work though!!
I do not like the hairline Heva creates on their clients. Longevita does a better job with this
