Thank you for posting this video. It validates my obsession with different decks. Decks are art, functional art, and they're amazing.
I am not really into play cards, but just watching you showing them off, talking about or backing kickstarters is truly enjoyable to me and I love it!

I am not surprised you of all people would have a card collection obsession being a magician, but I am surprised there is someone else out there with a playing card collection obsession.
My collection unfortunately got lost in a flood, but I had about 100 different playing card decks, though, I didn’t collect standard playing cards. I collected all sorts of odd cards from those opaque “see through” kind to small cards, extra large cards, cards with my name on it, cards with odd shapes, cards with different people or cartoons etc, as well as a bunch of different Bicycle brand cards. I love Bicycle the most personally.
I recently started collecting again starting with some of my favorite Bicycle decks, and as I travel along in life, I’m sure I’ll find tons more different ones to add to the collection. People thought I was weird, which I can see because I had no real reason to collect cards. I’m not a magician, I don’t play hold em’ or any other game other than just recreationally every now and then, I just like playing cards. I like shuffling playing cards. It’s like a fidget spinner to me.

Hi Chris, I fell in love with slight of hand magic and puzzles because of you and your videos. Because of your videos, I came up with an idea to make a 12-card-star from scratch ( I did all the cuttings and assembly). I made it for my best friend’s birthday present, hope she like it!

Love your collection!! I have a few rare decks and about 20 in total as I lost everything in a break in about 9 months ago. So I've had to start fresh after 23 years of collecting what was quite an extensive amount of cards and magic supplies.
100% do the NPH Puzzle, I've done it and it is awesome!

Chris you should put the cards in the cassettes in a way that will form a cool pattern, like the trick with the Rubik's cube that someone picks a celebrity and then a bunch of Rubik's cubes form a picture of the celebrity if you know what I'm talking about

Super cool to hear you talk about the black tigers. I have a few of those (white not red) and some ghosts and a tally ho from that time. They are the only premium decks I have ever bought, so it's cool that some of them made it to your wall!

Wow, very cool collection. I have a collection of over 400 decks, about 8% are doubles, all else are singles. Many are somewhat common, but I've been collecting for over 40 years so some may not be around anymore. I also have different sizes, from jumbo to miniature, 2 box sets, and cardboard boxed sets (think game board for the box). Unlike your practice, I tear the top cellophane off all of my decks, because i think the faces are the cool thing, as much as the backs. I buy new decks mostly now, knowing I'm going to live to be 120 years old and then my great great grandchildren will cherish them (Rolling my eyes). I like the racks, and might have to investigate that, as my entire collection is in storage containers. Thanks for showing.
