I got strange vibes too. The two parents were talking like they weren’t bothered. As if they wanted to get rid of him while pretending it was an accident. The dad calling him “freak”. F-ed up. Looks like dad had contempt for him.
Wouldn’t be surprised it’s a toxic family system with the dad at the center being controlling and malicious, and the mom is the enabler who goes along with his terrible ideas. The daughter was probably raised to go along with the toxic environment. Probably didn’t expect him to die, unlike the parents.
I'm in shock. I couldn't believe it. Such a horrible story. It seems like it's okay to let him die because of his disability. Heartbroken.😢
For the other kids to not help him out the pool or immediately go get the mom tells me that it's normal for them to let him do things like that without paying it any mind. And why was Mom asleep at all!!!??? Ain't no way...they all let him die!!
They are all complicit!!! Oh hell no!! That poor baby! Who in the hell gives their son a nick name freak. Those girls that came home obviously bc knew better too. This is sick! None of this alright. The girls knew better and were old enough to help him out.. speaks volumes.

What parent would leave their son with Autism outside in the middle of Winter next to a pool with water still in it !?!? And the mother hearing her autism son is outside in Winter, just decides to go back to sleep!!??
Was it the norm for this family to have dad go to work.
The 2 siblings go to school.
And mom sleeps in after a night shift.
While their autistic child is left on his own.
Also, with his arms wrapped to his body, how did he even get into an above ground pool?

I strongly believe they murdered Sam-intentionally. It's clear by the lack of remorse, and they way they handled it, they didn't care.
If Sam enjoyed being wrapped up, how did he get into the pool like that? If he couldn't get OUT of the pool because his hands were tied, then he ALSO wouldn't be able to get INTO the pool for the same reason! The SMS message "how's the freak?" tells me that the dad was asking to see whether or not Sam was still alive.
