      Well humans are the only non vegetarian apes. Humans likey meat much more than plant. Naturally humans are mostly carnivores that also eat a little bit of vegetables for vitamins etc. of course the diet changed since the days of civilization. Humans are now capable to produce much more plants for feeding themselves. But in a complete natural state, without agriculture the diet of a human would consist of mostly meat.

    • @brentlionakaboldchamp
      @brentlionakaboldchamp 4 года назад

      They aren`t as powerful as most claim. Certainly strong....but i`m sure a 400 lbs strongman is even stronger at pulling, than a Gorilla.

    • @brentlionakaboldchamp
      @brentlionakaboldchamp 3 года назад

      @RoadRash NT Not ignorant at all when you look at the evidence. The strength of an adult Gorilla has never been measured. And, I study human and animal strength. The strength of Many Chimps and an Orangutan was measured. Chimps are about as strong as humans, or even slightly weaker based upon actual pulling tests against a Dynamometer and/or pulley system. I myself have a Dynamometer and 3 Crane scales, and I used those to test my own strength (check my videos for evidence). Orangutans are a bit stronger than average men. In one strength test, a male Orangutan pulled about 165 kg. Human males, in tests, managed pulls from 85 - 159 kg. Averaged perhaps 120 kg in a pull, pulling against a scale. A male Leopard had a max pull of 120 kg. My own pull was 146 kg. There is only so much strength a creature can obtain naturally. Gorillas are lb for lb stronger than average men. But, not by a significant amount. Only by about 1.5 times, lb for lb. A strongman has more lb for lb strength than that, compared to average men.

    • @krish9197
      @krish9197 3 года назад +4

      @@brentlionakaboldchamp you are so wrong. These primates are far more powerful than any man on this planet can ever be. They are genetically superior in strength from birth, it’s the way natural selection made them

    • @brentlionakaboldchamp
      @brentlionakaboldchamp 3 года назад

      @@krish9197 You realize you are just making stuff up about these creatures, right? If not.....you are making things up!
      I have several strength tests on Chimps and many other animals, as well as data on muscle mass and muscle composition, and also data on Gorilla muscle mass, jumping ability, etc. For Gorillas, I used muscle mass data as well as jumping ability and relative limb sizes to determine the strength of these creatures. For Chimps....the strength tests are already available, and they are generally no stronger than the average untrained man. Usually weaker, actually.

    Gorillas are endangered. Trees aren't. If you are going to keep one in captivity to hell with the tree! What a magnificent animal. X
