      To be fair the way they walk and climb is a gym in itself. They don't need one really. They regularly lug around their 400 pound frame which is part of why they are so strong.

      Tbf all animals practically workout everyday just with their day-to-day lives. Certainly climbing, swinging, and jumping from tree to tree everyday require intense musclework.

  • @Grundle-buddy

    The ease at which he took that branch from the tree is very impressive show of strength. That's a healthy, green, 1 inch(or so) hard wood tree branch. He plucked it like a child pulls flower petals off a flower. 👀😲.
    And to see them jump like that is also impressive. They weigh like 400 lbs. Really cool video to watch. Thanks 😊

      Well humans are the only non vegetarian apes. Humans likey meat much more than plant. Naturally humans are mostly carnivores that also eat a little bit of vegetables for vitamins etc. of course the diet changed since the days of civilization. Humans are now capable to produce much more plants for feeding themselves. But in a complete natural state, without agriculture the diet of a human would consist of mostly meat.

Then watch the WSM competitions (a new ones) and you will see how quickly those heavy guys are running with not only their own weight, but also being charged with additional weight! And second thing... who said that the gorilla in this video was moving with speed and agility??????? You call it "fast"? Oh gosh, you must have never been watching a gorilla climbing and running in zoo. Even chimps are faster than this. • @brentlionakaboldchamp
      @brentlionakaboldchamp 4 года назад

      @RoadRash NT Not ignorant at all when you look at the evidence. The strength of an adult Gorilla has never been measured. And, I study human and animal strength. The strength of Many Chimps and an Orangutan was measured. Chimps are about as strong as humans, or even slightly weaker based upon actual pulling tests against a Dynamometer and/or pulley system. I myself have a Dynamometer and 3 Crane scales, and I used those to test my own strength (check my videos for evidence). Orangutans are a bit stronger than average men. In one strength test, a male Orangutan pulled about 165 kg. Human males, in tests, managed pulls from 85 - 159 kg. Averaged perhaps 120 kg in a pull, pulling against a scale. A male Leopard had a max pull of 120 kg. My own pull was 146 kg. There is only so much strength a creature can obtain naturally. Gorillas are lb for lb stronger than average men. But, not by a significant amount. Only by about 1.5 times, lb for lb. A strongman has more lb for lb strength than that, compared to average men.

    • @krish9197
      @krish9197 4 года назад +5

      @@brentlionakaboldchamp you are so wrong. These primates are far more powerful than any man on this planet can ever be. They are genetically superior in strength from birth, it’s the way natural selection made them

      @brentlionakaboldchamp 4 года назад

      @@krish9197 You realize you are just making stuff up about these creatures, right? If not.....you are making things up!
      I have several strength tests on Chimps and many other animals, as well as data on muscle mass and muscle composition, and also data on Gorilla muscle mass, jumping ability, etc. For Gorillas, I used muscle mass data as well as jumping ability and relative limb sizes to determine the strength of these creatures. For Chimps....the strength tests are already available, and they are generally no stronger than the average untrained man. Usually weaker, actually.

    Harambe nut here lol nut as long as this innocent creature is not in the care of Cincinnati zoo (read slaughterhouse),,, he will be happy and well looked after. I loved that noble creature with whole M,Y hearth. RIP wonderful hero.

      I think you would think twice if you watched a video of slaughtered Gorillas..one still had a new born attached...i couldnt sleep after seeing cut up bodies of whole families used for meat..feet...hands being held up.
      They are safe and looked afer here..its not ideal but thry are alive

    Gorillas are endangered. Trees aren't. If you are going to keep one in captivity to hell with the tree! What a magnificent animal. X
