This is honestly one of the best Gorilla enclosures I seen in all of these RUclips videos. Spacious, plenty of stuff to climb on, and naturalistic. I wish more can be like this.

I'm not a gorilla specialist, but these demonstrations of force aimed at the crowd and the way he always seems vigilant and keeps an eye on everyone, makes me feel like this gorilla is very stressed out and on edge in his enclosure...

I believe gorillas were seen as legend before and during the age of western imperialism. Most zoos didn't have any gorillas until after WW2. I could be wrong.

It's what I love about silverback gorillas, they're dossile, majestic, exclusive creatures that keep to their groups and just wanna be left alone. But if provoked agrivated, threatened or crossed in any way or form, they're sooner to tear anyone or anything in half than look at them. Really gotta respect that.

Leopards hunt and kill also silverback gorillas occasionally. They can't rip other strong animals in pieces, it's gross exaggeration. Lions and bears are stronger than gorillas to give some examples. I want a human being, yes, a human being in a big wide cage at a zoo with animals but they have the enclosure to themselves. I want them to spend a week in there, alone or with two other people. I want people to watch them as they eat, take photos of them, and make the zoo people do what they want to do. The zoo keepers should control when they eat and what they eat too. I get that zoos are for people but animals need privacy once and while.

What sticks out in my mind to this day; was it vomiting. Back in the 90’s I saw a elephant in a cement cell with shackles on its leg. I was thinking; “I will never come here again.” But I was wrong. In the 2000’s it was a have to trip. I saw the same elephant chained to that wall. Cincinnati zoo is Sucks. Indianapolis zoo is great.
