First Ride Videos - Bikes that I've never ridden before Process 1. Get access to a motorcycle 2. Look up the base specs(BHP, Torque, Weight and MSRP) 3. Film 1 ride on the bike and be honest about how I feel while riding it
My first Triumph was a 2003 955i Daytona. From there a 2015 675 Street Triple RX. I traded that for a 2018 765RS, and I just purchased a 2024 765RS. Every bike feels like they couldn't make it more comfortable or any better, and yet somehow they do. Love seeing all the MOTO2 technology trickle down into these Streets! I use my triple to commute to work, hit up the canyons on the weekends and just enjoy an afternoon ride out. I'm 53 and this is one of the best bikes I've ever ridden.
Oh, I found it so fascinating how triumph seams to make these so comfortable and other manufactures don't! I was so fortunate to connect with Triumph in Waukesha and they have let me try out all these bikes. This is my favorite bike I've ridden for the channel so far! Perfect power for the street, Comfortable and relaxed for the everyday ride and so playful for some weekend fun! Exceptional platform! I imagine the Daytona was a blast to ride! I just got a call from Triumph Waukesha and they have a 2012 Daytona 675 so I'm going to head out next week to get a film on it. I'm very excited to try it out. Do you have any advice or information on the 675 engine that I should point out? Thanks for watching and sharing your experiences with the channel! Stay Safe always!
@@MotorcycleDemoRiders - the powerband on the 675 motor was more even across from 2500rpm all the way up the range in my experience. Completely predictable and solid, reliable. The 765 engine seems to have this surge at 7krpm and up where the lower RPMs feel a bit more palatable but once you hit 7k-8k she just wants to take off like a rocket and definitely lets you know that she's happy to be there and wants more twist in the wrist. Both good, just different.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I SAID 2024 was going to be on this sexy beast and I just rode 125 miles home on it just now, the exact year and color as the one in this video. This is my 2nd bike coming from a Harley 1200 Iron/Sportster, that I loved but is a completely different riding experience and vibe altogether. I think I also got it for a complete steal - $7,499 so $8,882 OTD, it was the dealers demo bike at 6k miles - so already broken in and 1st service done, with brand new tires. At this price range I was looking towards a used XSR700, but after watching your review around the beginning of December, I was locked in and now I have it! - SO THANK YOU AGAIN, I APPRECIATE YOU AND YOUR CHANNEL AND WISH YOU THE VERY BEST. I’ve had a Trident, FZ-07, and now a new MT-09- this new STR is just a glorified Trident. They’re boring, gotta rev them to the moon to get anything and they’re built in Thailand- which means cheap. Yamaha’s are exciting, full of low end torque, built in Japan and have no service light gimmicks. You should’ve bought the Yami.
Is it needed no but I would disagree in regard to cruise control because I love it when I'm on a long ride and I can set the cruise and relax my hand a bit. A little arthritis creeping in and it's really nice to have a rest. That said for this bike in particular I wouldn't be doing long trips on it. Could you absolutely but I have a touring bike for that purpose myself. That said thank you for sharing your thoughts and congrats on the new bike! I have no doubt you will enjoy it! I personally feel like its one of the best bikes I've ever been fortunate to ride! Stay safe
Honestly, I didn't even look at the indicators, but they should be LED at this price point. However, it doesn't change the fact of how good the bike was to ride.
I'm sorry but thank you for telling me. I just watched it 4 days ago myself and it was fine but now yes, it is off. I will look into the issue to resolve it. Again, apologies as this bike is one of my favorite bikes this year to test.
Triumph dropped the ball on the R version. The display looks like something off of a 300. The controls and seat suck too. Compare the 2019 R display and seat to this- a huge step backwards for the Thailand built bikes. Overrated. Fail.
I personally haven't ridden the 2019 as of yet but i will see if I can get a hold of one and will keep your thoughts in mind. I really did enjoy my first ride on the 2024 personally but I can appreciate other riders thoughts and thank you for sharing your insights. Stay safe

Yamaha’s are exciting, full of low end torque, built in Japan and have no service light gimmicks.
You should’ve bought the Yami.
@@tg8150😂😂 yeah right 45 hp more then trident and more sporty and fun then trident and Mt 09✊🔥
No bike needs to have or should have cruise control. I just got the '24 764 R after being out of the hobby for a long time.
Stay safe
11 grand bike with halogen indicators? 😂
Honestly, I didn't even look at the indicators, but they should be LED at this price point. However, it doesn't change the fact of how good the bike was to ride.
@@MotorcycleDemoRiders yeah a Triumph street triple is a sweet ride 100%. Glad we agree out the box those need to be LED though 👍🏼
@@italianstallion701They are in Europe
Video and sound do not match.
I'm sorry but thank you for telling me. I just watched it 4 days ago myself and it was fine but now yes, it is off. I will look into the issue to resolve it. Again, apologies as this bike is one of my favorite bikes this year to test.
@@MotorcycleDemoRiders Still a good review tho.... thanks!
@jeffwertz2953 Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. The audio issue seems to have been resolved now.
Stay safe
For your reasons I am happy with my 19 model r especially with 17.5 Lt tank
Have you actually ridden one?
Have you ridden one? Those sound like idiotic comments if you have not spent a lot of time in the seat of this model bike.
