- The poorest countries in the world are a real mix. Some of them have natural resources which means they're not quite as poor, but most of these countries either don't have much to offer or just can't seem to get their economies going.

The biggest problem is birth . Instead of just feeding millions of people (which is costly) UN, NGO’s , and other organisations who donate need to start funding contraception.
I am from Africa , and what I have realised is that most Africans suffer because poor people here give birth to many kids and can’t afford to take care of them .In 3rd world countries and poverty stricken countries ,Sex, alcohol and drugs are the order of the day. You can’t stop people from having sex , so they need to stop people from giving birth . I assure you that 90% of children born in Africa were not planned for. So they need to implement a system of planned parenthood in Africa . This would decrease the poverty rate by a very large portion . Just feeding people alone doesn’t tackle poverty . When it comes to poverty, the head of the snake here is birth , education and healthcare.
I understand that this will decrease the Population of Africans . But it’s better to have 500 million Africans living above middle class standards , than to have 1 billion Africans living in poverty . The current African population is 1.5 billion . And this number will only increase if birth control is not implemented. Feeding people is not a cure/solution to poverty .
This has went on since mankind. Always have always will. Besides sterilization, males also need to be held accountable.
I disagree with birth being the issue. Germany, Japan are among the most populated countries yet they don’t complain about that, instead they benefit from it, for more specialized labor or more demand for the market. The problem is elsewhere maybe lack of proper education tailored to solve the poor countries problems or bad governance

You can start by encouraging the society and raising awareness of overpopulation. Singapore, South Korea and other Asian countries acknowledge this and so the people cooperated. When I raise this issue in the Philippines, I get ridiculed instead.

In 1990, among the 30 poorestes countries in the world (based on HDI) there were roughly 15 african and 15 asian nations.
Now, 27 out of 30 are africa. The 3 exceptions are haiti, yemen and afghanistan.

Don’t fall into the common misconception of developed countries, thinking that just because people are very poor, they must be very unhappy! I have lived for a decade in a country that surprisingly didn’t make this list but is in the same region and suffers many of the same hardships as the countries described here. I have found the people here to be generally far happier in their daily lives than many people in developed nations.
This is not to minimise the suffering and the problems, they are serious and I hope things improve in those areas. All I mean is that happiness does not come from a store. It doesn’t even come from pleasant circumstances. You can have everything and be unhappy and end up committing suicide. You can have not a cent in your wallet, but have great friends and a loving family and a strong faith in God, and be full of joy. Your call.

Of course it is very unfortunate that some countries are both poor and mismanaged. I question, however, the inclination to continue having so many children, some of whom will actually suffer. Is suffering an by-product of being human or is it a by-product of socialization with accepted cruelty? Further, then, help me understand why I should welcome this mind set into my own country? Poverty in Africa is not the result of colonialism or neo-colonialism. That’s an ideologically driven myth.
The dramatic reduction in global poverty, including Africa, has been the result of governments abandoning failed socialist policies.
As a result of misplaced guilt, hundreds of billions of dollars in Western aid has been largely misappropriated and wasted (Wade N. , 2015, p. 182).

American blacks have the highest standard of living and the highest per capita income anywhere in the world and certainly far higher than the people of sub-Saharan Africa.

There is not an end to water? The earth is more than 75% water. Dig deep beneath sea level on land fresh water. No matter where if deep enough there is clean water. As long as the seas or oceans exists fresh water will also come from the lands or mountains. Great mountains come melting snow and ice.
