This was wonderful! Watching you having fun at the dump is bittersweet as we're desperate to get back out to our favourite sites again. We think we can help with indenting a few finds this time. The metal with the Swallow on it is part of a Sterling silver Victorian brooch. Just like the one we found last year! They were affordable and so very popular back then, with different designs, some with woman's names; some had "mother" or "sister" on them (mourning brooches). Also we recognize the headless kneeling child figure! It's a whistle! The slit at the bottom is the mouthpiece. The're German made. Love the penny perfumes and the history of the quack medicine bottle too! Gail & Alex xx
I love how Kate calls forgotten and broken things 'beautiful' in such a loving way. That's such a sweet way to see things, finding beauty on such small things
There were a few things missed from the round-up we now realise haha. The stoneware pot has flowers in it which we did film (forgot to show them), the round bottom bottle had a slight accident and the top broke off but we are still going to use it in craft, one bottle was so full of something really horrible we could not clean it (can`t remember which) and the coins have somehow disappeared in the void haha. We had so many round-ups waiting to be cleaned things have just gone astray, we apologise but hope you enjoyed the film anyway :) x
“this has the potential to be very exciting...or very sad!” *says Kate* You two find the potential and joy in everything you discover...a rare gift ❤️🇨🇦❤️
20:30 It just hit me that one of the biggest reasons I enjoy your videos so much is because you each have a camera, & so we get twice as much perspective during the finds. It's wonderful!!
Hello there, you had an awesome haul from the dump! Just too many to name a favourite. Loved seeing another Monsters bottle, you just can't help but adore a bottle with Monsters written down the side of it 😃. Thank you! Take care, Josie and Andy
The end result of your videos show such amazing growth when it comes to presentation and editing ! Your hard work shows and is greatly appreciated. I love your soothing and informative videos ❤
I'm sooo happy to see y'all get bottles. I can't tell you how many times I have been saying , to your videos, "get that bottle " but you hardly ever did . I'm so excited I love glass , Don't care what the bottle looks like as long as it's old. It was as easy as pie to get your haul this time all the digging was done for you.: ) I enjoyed this video very much . Fleur I still hear you breathing hard ,I hope you are taking care of yourself . Kate your going to have to watch after mom and not let her do too much. 💓 Kate maybe you can pour some type of resin inside you ink to keep it from breaking apart.
Concerning the praire flower bottle, the aloe's is a natural healing gel. It comes from the Aloe succulent plant. Good for minor skin cuts & abrasions. Also cools & sooths sunburns. Its not a miracle cure for alot of those things it claimed to but it is widley used here in America. Very cool
Such a lovely treat this was, so many finds to see, and such fun and interesting histories. I'm not a bit surprised you lost track of things in the wrap up, there was such a plethora. I was looking for the blue bead and the bead string among a few other things. It must be an enormous chore to clean everything, and yet exciting too, as you discover the details of each item. What a surprise that tiny glass clock face was. It ought to work out lovely as a wall clock in the dollhouse. With each intake of your delighted breath's, I was drawn right along with you into the excitement of each new find. What a wonderful adventure! I eagerly await what new and unique pieces of art and craft will arise from your talented fingers. Have a lovely day ladies, you have surely made mine blessed.
When you said"we need a bigger bag" reminded me of Jaws "we need a bigger boat" you two deserve O.B.E's for keeping the nation's morale up during this crazy times, Keep safe!
The name Sequoyah is a word I had heard many times before and prompted me to do a little research myself! Sequoyah is pronounced like Sē-quo-yah who was a famous Cherokee native American, Scholar. He was the first and the only known native American scholar who invented the alphabet for the Cherokee language and the syllabary, in 1821 he brought it before the tribal council. He wanted his people to be able to read books and any kind of books they wanted to read, which he called pages in a book "talking leaves". He also went by his father's name that was given to him by his mother. His name was George, Guess, Gist. And he mostly went by his Cherokee name Sequoyah. Sequoyah's biological father had abandoned his wife while pregnant. She was also half Cherokee. All of this went on between 1770-1843. There is so much more to this man than meets the eye! I cant justify how important Sequoyah was to his Cherokee tribe and to America. So much so, that the Sequoia National Forest was named in his honor. Sequoyah and sequoia are spelled differently but have the same meaning! So I am thinking that the inventors of these crazy quack remedies where trying to ride the coat tails of famous names or using mrs. As a way to sell their products and taking advantage of people who are in pain. It so barbaric and scandalously shady behavior just to push their products! I went on to find out all of this thanks to, The National Geographic website. I only looked it up because of what you have found but I found it fascinating! Thank you again for another amazing video!
Oh goodness you are back in that amazing orchard! I honestly would never be able to leave :) I have those Art Deco sweetie jars and keep my special finds in them ( the jars are an ebay purchase!) absolutely love those!! Can't wait to see what you make with that gorgeous half doll face Kate and Fleur ...
What a fun, fruitful visit to the dump! So many great bottles! So many pieces of broken ceramics for you to 'transform" with Milliput! Your enthusiasm and joy makes me smile!
Oh and the tiny bottle , Fleur, and more to boot ! Such a good lark today. I Hardly had time to relax today, You both just kept finding things. I loved it and I'm so glad you took the monster bottle Fleur, as I thought the same thing, a perfect Halloween bottle. Oh please go back there soon. I don't get this excited but today was the best ever. Thank you, thank you, thank you sooooo much. Your excitement is so contagous !
I agree, the bottles the diggers took must have been amazing if they left all these behind! When lockdownis over I hope you can go back with the whole family to help carry out treasures...
Fun words -- "Good for Crafting". Kate, your pipe bowl!! Love your rabbit and can hardly wait for Easter to see him transformed. Loved the swap of Kate's Rejects becoming Fleur's Finds and vice versa. Love your soothing yet exciting voices for the treasures you find. This is the best place -- it just keeps on giving!
So happy to see my favorite Mud larkers, and watching the thrill of the find. Loved all the finds, but my favorite was the rabbit, but hard to pick from. I always like the broken bits, and pieces of animals, faces, and dolls, you manage to renew, and bring back to life. Until next time, God Bless, you, and yours.
You could fill that triangle ink with resin to seal the inner shatter and put some tiny confetti letters sprinkled like glitter into the resin, just a thought to protect and repurpose. Love your vids and always smile whenever your text says "I took it"
I love all the tiny bottles. That would be one of my dream finds if I ever got a chance to go mudlarking. Love seeing you ladies on Sundays, thanks for brightening my day again. 💚💜❤️
What an interesting mudlark. You kept me on the edge of my seat. I love the way Kate talks to her treasures, asking them questions! Such beautiful tiny bottles. My fav is the tiny tankard! So colorful. Stay safe ladies. Hello to Oscar. Missed Sunny! 🦋
Fantastic finds as usual! Hope you went back to that dump as it seems there are way more things, still to be had. Thank you for sharing your adventures with all of us.
It’s a silver sweetheart or memorial brooch with a swallow on the front, the back is where the pin and c clasp would go (they usually get snapped off). They would, in true Victorian fashion, be full of symbolism. The swallow represents a child or motherhood and a bird in flight symbolises the soul going up to heaven, sometimes the back would have a lock of hair in it and they would use an old coin trimmed down to secure it in.
Was good to see both of you crafting again, and to create such lovely dolls is so very clever. Nice to see sunny helping again. That looked a lovely cheerful place with the stream and flowers. Thank you and have a good week.
Another awesome mud larking video, thanks guys for taking and sharing this awesome video. The audio was fine because you could hear nature’s sounds and beautiful birds singing 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌟🌟🌟
So much fun walking along with you girls...I love all the doll and animal pieces, and the tiny bottles❣️🐇🐕💚I would love to be down in the dirt digging right along with you...carry on❣️
I am amazed by the joy and honesty with which these lovely people go about their their happy hunt. I will probably get trolled for this, but they are what we should all aspire to be...! You are both lovely human beings!
❤'d the quiet music box like piano accompanying you & your excitement through magical finds. "Through the looking glass" to a forgotten apple orchard dump... it was magical! *Thank You!*
SUPER GREAT FINDS!!! Perhaps you can fill the Monsters bottle with creepy crawlies (spiders, ants, etc) along with a mini sting of lights for Halloween for a ooky-spooky effect!
Another great 'trip' along with you on this bottle finding extravaganza! When I'm watching I'm telling you to 'take all the good ones' haha ;) maybe you could fill bottles with sea glass and sell them in your shop?! That would be fun for all of us watching!
You had some great finds there .the tiny bottles are my favourites i always wonder what they had in them.kate i love how you talk to your animal or doll finds its as if your bringing them comfort at being found and your going to make them better.
Such beautiful tiny bottles and great finds. The one thing I saw that you found was a glass jar lid....This made me think of my friend that used to be my hairdresser that became a lovely friend and she's from St Helena wow how did it get here it's such a small island. Ty for picking that up Kate because it's making me want to get in touch with her 🤗💖👍
Great finds today. I'm in the USA. When my kids were young we would go dig an old dump that closed in 1940's. My older daughter would collect clear small bottles. We would fill with food colored water and then cork up and sit on the window sills. Vwmery pretty on sunny days.
You guys find the best stuff of everybody! My fav was that doll face and bunny, can't wait to see it at Easter. May be you could glue a hollowed out ostrich egg to the back? I loved this video :)
Thia is the second or third time I have watched this video. I find it amazingly how much fun you girls have hunting treasures. I so wish I could be there with you. Fantastic finds, fantastic enthusiasm! I love your videos so much! Stay safe! ❤

Hi young ladies, what wonderful treasures just lying around, waiting to be plucked from the surface, how utterly convenient!!! No such thing in my neck of the woods! I may be wrong, but could the swallow medalian thingy be the lid for a coffin of a mini frozen Charlotte doll, just a thought. Thanks so much for a very fun larking excursion, it was highly entertaining!!!!!
glad you have so much crafting to catch up with it will keep you busy with this lock down yet again now double away get the projects heads on or sgt major sunny cat will be putting you all on jankers and painting white lines on every thing if it moves paint it if it doesn"t move paint it . loved the video perfect for a sunday nt :-)

I thought of your video when Kate found Mrs. Winslow’s bottle!
I love how Kate calls forgotten and broken things 'beautiful' in such a loving way. That's such a sweet way to see things, finding beauty on such small things
Isn't it a delight? Finding so much joy and beauty in tiny, broken things - it really is so precious. Such a lovely family.
@@YvonneWilson312 they are! It's so soothing to listen to them and to watch their lovely findings every Sunday.
And her voice is so unique !!! She could be in a movie or cartoon with that voice !
“I’m going to need a bigger bag”…gotta love it 🥰

I will always enjoy your videos!!!!!
You are always a delight!
there was a blue bottle stopper right next to you when you were looking at the tankard , i was literally shouting for you to see it lol
Maybe one day you could film some of the "forgotten" and misplaced finds in a round up of round ups! lol

LOL I had exactly the same reaction, Paddy. Also, the line from the movie, Calendar Girls: "We're going to need bigger buns."

Lovely dump, some amazing treasures.
Hi! My grandmother had an Easter Bunny that stood a little bit like that one and he had a green colored wicker basket on his back that had eggs in it.
I see the love for soda bottles and love for digging is growing: becoming less of a mudlarker and now a 'digger' like the rest of us:)
