I did a bit of research online to see if could find a cricket pipe like yours. I did find one that’s in a museum in Australia. The picture only shows the one side but the description says the other side has a rower and an oar. Maybe it’s the same.
Thanks for another great episode. Love those little glass animals.
Wow thank you so much that is really helpful :)
I was wondering if the other side was worn down and depicted a player swinging out for a shot, the two shapes at the bottom could be his pads? But until they publish the other side at the museum, we shall never know
Society needs more families like yours who share an obvious love and respect for each other and history..Blessings from Maryville, Tennessee USA
Totally agree

I always get a special joy watching you and the Northern mudlarks as a Mother-daughter team. I would have given anything to have done this with my Mum. She passed at 94 and we crafted together on projects right up until the end of her wonderful creative life. She was also a dollmaker and when you two started your dump dolls I nearly cried how she would have loved to do that as she would do anything to rescue a toy and give it new life. I am an artist and spend quite a lot of time making assemblages of found objects as my 'happy place' and I confess I do so envy your wonderful dumps and such. Small Australian bush towns don't yield such rich pickings, but I do so share your joy when you find your wonderful treasures. Thank you so much. Jennifer Powell
Thank you so much we loved hearing about your mother, a kindred soul :) x
The Imp faces reminded me that when we look down, and become negative, we may become sad and disheartened....but when we look UP there is hope and happiness!♥️ May we all look UP and feel the joy!
That is lovely! That is so true! ❤️

A lovely last adventure at your favourite dump - and some fantastic finds! It's sad but we just know you will find a new place to go! So nice to see your Czech glass charm collection growing and love your blue ceramic marble, Fleur! Love and luck, Gail & Alex xx
Just waiting for lockdown to lessen more so we can go exploring again, really tired of it now haha :) x
The last of the dump, I'm surpised you weren't out there with torches overnight! The cricket pipe was lovely, obviously a dying penguin with a spoon on the reverse. My best bit was Kate, "I think she has an eye patch on.....No, it's crud." Well done on such great finds lovely ladies.
Thank you so much :)
Keep the wonderful memories in your hearts! Everyone spend as much time with your mothers and fathers. Get to know their dreams and beliefs. Learn about your family history. Cherish them!
The rabbit is beautiful Kate. A just reward for your persistence. You two bring a lot of joy to the two of us. Keep the faith and the spirit. Sue and Ian, Australia
Thank you so much!
We are from Australia too, and enjoy watching these videos. We don't have instagram so hope you can do a short video of your grouped treasures.
I can't stop watching this show it's like a treasure hunt WOW 😳
It goes without saying that when I see your video up, I click thumbs-up before I even view it! That rabbit, Kate. THAT RABBIT!!! And a whole Codd's bottle to boot! Congrats on all the finds-- and don't feel too blue. There will be other dumps and places bubbling up with treasure-- all just waiting patiently to be found by you. Hope your week is a good one!
Thank you so much EB A, that is so sweet of you! The rabbit really is a dream find! Fingers crossed we can find some new areas, we hope you have a good week too!
Every headless tin soldier. I think of the lyrics heads will roll or off with their heads. I love the music.
Those heads you found of different sizes look like cupie doll heads. The way the hair goes up into a wisp, looks like a cupie doll head. The glass animal miniatures are so cute! I hope your able to go back and find more treasures at your dump before the tractors and dump trucks take over!! As always....a real joy watching you! ❤️❤️❤️
I think you are right :)
Spring is a joy ! Loved the dolls and mudlark . Anne from Massachusetts , USA .
A whole cod bottle!!! That’s a find . I had a good friend from England who gave me a cod bottle. That was twenty years ago. I shall move it to the front of my display case now. What a wonderful gift.
Heartbreaking, but beautiful, amazing treasures. Till next time friends, love to all.
I've never seen anyone pull out a whole codd bottle. Congratulations on that and all your finds, and for rescuing all the things you have.
Thank you Phyllis! I was so giddy to find a complete one!
I love 💘 the little rabbit 🐇 you found, you deserve that little rabbit, but now you have to give it a name, I'm very proud of you and happy for you 💖 God bless you both...
A yellow rabbit for Kate. How perfect. I love how much u guys r being blessed w/ excellent finds. Oh my gosh. So many wonderful finds. God bless u guys.
It really was a perfect find for me! 😍 We are having great luck recently, thank you!
Way to go Oscar 1st bottle. Love your finds 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩💖💖
Love the Googlies and your rabbit I squeeled...lol
The little imp heads remind me of JackJack from the Incredible movies just before he goes super nova and bursts into flames 🔥
The rabbit cleaned up beautifully!! ❤️
Now Sunny has a friend! A great kitty find. Hugs to Sunny....love love love you Sunny!
What a wonderful day of finds you both had at the dump. I loved them all but that Czech cracker charm took the show ....now I want one ! Thanks ladies, stay well always. ~ Karyn 🌼
Aww that rabbit was a dream find! Your collection of Czech cracker charms is so lovely - funny, we have been adding to ours via ebay too - they are irresistible!! Glad you could salvage a few more treasures from the orchard :) Congrats on 9K subs!!!! Take care, Nicole & Craig
We thought you would like him! I was so excited when I found my old one again, we are keeping an eye out for them, but they can go for quite a lot of money, haha
We had some good luck this time, thank you so much!
The bird!!!!! Sooo lovely ☺️
9000 subscribers. Congratulations.
Such wonderful finds.
The little rabbit must have known that it was your last visit to the dump and jumpt out of his hole. Maybe it the Easter bunny.
I love the cod bottles.
Thank you Beate! That is such a cute way to look at it, I love the idea that the rabbit left its hole for me to find
That little amber bunny is adorable, I wish there were such prizes in cracker jacks now! Kate's favorite blue bead is such a glorious teal, very nice... I am sad about the dump, but I am glad you got in there one last time.
I will miss seeing you go to the dump for finds as I know you will miss going. Maybe you will find a new place soon. When one of you gets excited about a find, I get excited as well. Stay safe and well. :)
I cant get over how much prettier and cuter your little fat Robin's are than ours in U.S.! Too cute! Great hunt and congrats on all the cool finds!
He was very cute! Yours are striking though!
I was thinking the exact same thing while watching this video, Jenny.
American 'robins' are actually thrushes. When the colonists from England came to the New World, they used the same names as the animals they knew and matched them as closely as they could to the new animals they found.
So marvelous! I love the cod bottles. You should try an fix the bunny, maybe with resin. It was good to see Sunny cat again . Hug him for me.🥰🥰🥰🥰
Those little doll heads look like Telly Tubbies.
:) :):)
I still can’t believe what they did to that dump/orchard, but maybe it will turn into a field of dreams. That poor robin loosing it’s home, im devastated and hate when people clear old land like that. Anyway awesome finds guys, glad Oscar got to do a bottle removal, well done hon. Chins up ladies, you still have other places to go and keep an eye out for when they plough the field. Much love and blessings and take care and stay safe and well, all of you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you fingers crossed we can find a new magical dump! :)
Love the video. The bird was so cute, colorful. It is shame, about the dump. Kind of funny to be sad about a dump, but such treasure!
Thank you Trudie!
The glass animals are adorable!
Maybe the rabbit needs a new gold leaf ear? Great finds!
Ah😌, I'm so glad you gave us a last glimpse of your good luck " mudlarking birdie"🥰. Perhaps he/she helped you find your orangie/ yellow glass rabbit, Miss Kate 🤔? That way you guys can always remember the good luck and marvelous finds he/she helped you discover. The color reminds me of the birdie's breast feathers.
Kate has made a doll based on the bird in this weeks video :)
I’m so sorry that you are loosing your dump. I’m so glad that you were able to save what you could. ♥️♥️♥️
Well done and easy to watch..
Not a bit of over acting or dancing around like many You Tubers are guilty of...
Thanks for the simplicity and calming speech... You are a pair of special ladies... Greetings from Florida...(Scottish blood lines and family connection to the Frazier and Wallace clans)...I only know that because of my Mother's love of family history...
I'm not sure if I will eat Haggis...😂😂🌹😂
That blue bead is the color I want to paint my bed(first one you showed)!
I enjoy hearing your excitement when you find something that you love. Which is pretty much everything ❤️
Wonderful video.. I thank the Lord for you. You bless everyone thatchances upon your channel. Bless you.
sweet little rabbit, beautiful color.
The crystal chandelier pieces would make excellent Christmas tree icicles.
chubby little orange-belly birdie is gorgeous!
I had two of the glass charms like those that I used for my Ginny dolls in the sixties. So glad I could see them again though you. Barb
Those were lovely finds. And congrats to Kate on the bucket list cod bottle(s - that second one should count too!) and Czech glass rabbit. Congrats to Oscar on his bottle extraction!
Even the little ladybug is sad the dump is gone...🐞
He did look a little sad, but luckily he can thrive in the nature reserve near by
Not to mention that poor bird
Weather crazy everywhere ⛄⛄😻
Great finds, ladies and Oscar!
Awwww this was lovely as much as it was sad to watch but only because you cant go back there again. The dump definitely gave you some memorable treasures 🤗. Mum you definitely should hang your chandelier pieces. I make dangles that i hang up on the pole of my window and when the light shines through it is pretty with crystals and vintage necklaces and broken ones too i definitely reccomend doing it. Its weird how you find hands too because ive never seen any before.
Perfect little 🐇 find Kate. Happy Mothers day too💖🌹
I think I will hang them :)
@@MudlarkingWithKitCaboodlers Yay :)
"Oh, thank you, Dump!" Your joy is contagious and I could watch you finding bucket list items all day long. Today was terrible, until you found your lucky rabbit! xoxoxo
Fantastic finds!, my fav is the Rabbit. Sorry your Dump hunts are over.
Фантастические находки!!! Просто невероятные барышни, редкость в поисковом движении. От души желаю удачных поисков!!!
Lovely finds today! Love the Czech glass collection!
I am so sad you are loosing your dump!I would still go to the edge and search!
SFBJ doll company started in 1889 when a group of well known doll makers banded together to keep their industry alive. I think because German makers had found cheaper methods of production and were overtaking France as the most popular producers.
Their dolls are quite popular amongst collectors today. You will see how beautiful they often were if you do an internet search. My mother, now 99, had two dollscby that company in the late 1920s.
Looking at that soil, I can see why the apple trees were so full of fruit! That is some real rich soil. You should sift some out and take it home for your garden. The cat is wearing a Kimono of some kind. Its a Japanese type gown with a sash. The vase with the phrase "Whose afraid" is an take off on Don Quote fighting the windmills.
Thank you for the information that really helps :)
This was a bitter/sweet video. Although you had some lovely finds there was still a sad thought behind it all. Love the little amber rabbit and the dolls heads. I think the s.f.b.j head is a bisque Bebe head from around c1899+ thank you for sharing your video. Have a good week
Thank you for the information Tony! There were a lot of emotions involved in these videos...
Have a good week too!
It’s sad to see natural areas being taken for development. I live in Arkansas USA and we’re fairly lucky to have lots of federal and state forests around us in this part. Back home in Upstate NY my friends are fighting a 200 acre development on farm land that is on the National register of historic places and has an American Indian longhouse remnants along a river that’s named for the Indians that lived there. I hope you can find a new place to treasure hunt. I know here most homes had their own little dump. Maybe you can find a few locals that will allow you to explore their property.
Thank you for watching Terri, that is so horrible, and it’s happening more and more, fingers crossed we can find a new spot, and that no more areas are destroyed
I would love if when you took pictures of your collections, have a few made into puzzles. They would be so fun to put them back together again. I look forward each week to your videos. I wish you did more. I know they are so much work but to many of us you guys are like extended family members. I call your family and the Northern mudlarks my UK family mudders.
Thank you so much! We would love to make more but as you say the films take awhile to put together. Maybe one day in the future we will have more time to make more :)
a beautiful video. the pointy heads in white remind me of something from my Mother's childhood, 1920s and 30s u.s......wish i could remember more
Your dollars one is smiling one sad but they are all adorable
Kate im so glad you found those things off your bucket list .its sad it's your last time there but you both found some amazing things and over the years you have had so much pleasure from going there.and i for one have enjoyed watching the excitment you both have shown.happy mother's day Fleur.
Thank you so much!
I don't know which is worse, having a grand last day at your favorite dump, or having a terrible last day at your favorite dump. I'd forever be thinking of all the lovely things buried and gone. I am glad that she offered up some of your favorite things to remember her by.
You could make a memorial shadowbox with a photo of the area as you remember it and a few treasured finds from there.
That is a lovely idea! :)
Such pretty blue beads ! Am so sad for you tat the bottle dump is no more xx
Could the lead cat you found be a Japanese or China type cat and it's outfit was possibly a Kimono? I love some of the treasures you found. My favourite is definitely the glass rabbit.
Amazed how everyday bottles were made so lovely.
Your rabbit made me think of the velveteen rabbit.
So sad for the loss of the fantastic dump. 😢 You girls make every video fun and happy! Thank you, I enjoy watching so very much!
Thanks for watching!

Those little imp faces!!! 🥰♥️😍
Wonderful finds and ❤️ your kitty watching the hail storm!
The melted lead seal, to me it looks like owl’s eyes! 😂😜
Kate, I’m curious about what you would like to do when you are grown? Will it be something to do with history, art, designing, or will you keep those as hobbies? You have a great variety of skills and knowledge already. P.S. i thoroughly enjoy the dump doll videos. The results have been amazing!
You’re cricket pipe looks like it has a cricket player sliding into base and throwing the bat as he does.
You have the best imagination. I still see blobs!
So.e of the doll heads would be so cute made into necklaces.
I love the little cracker charms, so adorable. Looking forward to your dump crafting video
Congratulations on the wonderful finds, codd bottles!, and love your rabbit. Good memories for the future.
I just really love your you tube vlogs both mudlarking and crafting I don't have an Instagram account so I hope you continue you tube also thank you love from Oregon
Beautiful finds...all of the faces have such different characteristics. Thank you for sharing!
So many fun finds!
I had to rewatch this video! I feel so bad that such a true treasure park was destroyed. I'm sure that isn't what the owners thought but I'm sure loads of others agree with me. It was a shame the treasures are gone for many many more years. Maybe your great great grandchildren can find a few of the jewels that remained and were moved or re buried. Please stay safe and be careful! ❤
