Oh, You wonderful ladies… what a fabulous Haul!!!! You bring your visitors so much peaceful Joy! I am a 70 yr old artist. I have “ hunted and gathered “ for years! And you unique finds are so different than Alaska where I live! Please accept my thanks for your videos. Calm and inspiring in a busy world!
I believe that the tiny "baby bottles" are for dosing medication for infants. The shape made it easier than using a teaspoon, as it was spill proof and a more accurate measurement tool.
When I read the tile of this video I felt sad that the trees were gone and the area flattened but as the search went on my smile came back. Love the way you find the same things, you had a wonderful haul of goodies🥰. I was thinking maybe the donkey or blue horse could be fashioned into a rocking horse for the dolls house😌💛🧡🤎 take care and thank you ☺️
It does still make us sad that the orchard was destroyed too but there definitely were a lot of treasures there this time and at least we saved them :) :) Thank you Charlotte :):)
They aren’t candle sticks they are bud vases. For just one small bud of a flower,my mother had a few of them, I don’t know which of my sisters has them now.
When you ladies find something that brings you Joy it brings a smile to my face. I am so pleased at your enthusiasm. I wish you many more found treasures.
I think the universe is supplying you with dolls with missing heads, and toy soldiers with missing heads for a reason. You guessed it: get a welding kit and a ceramic modelling kit and make the missing parts!!! You will be millionaires!! ;) Nice pipe bowls. Maybe use some doll legs for the donkey :D Be good if Nicola White took you to Thames Estuary area to find one of those really long intact pipes. Seeing the special beauty and spirit in 'junk' is what first got me watching mudlarking vids (with Nicola). The history and the settings then added to this.
I am writing this because I believe Kate found a dolls tea cup and just said it’s tiny and left it. Well today I found a vlog on tea cups $ yes Kate if you ever find others you will PICK IT UP…💖💖🇦🇺lovely dolls house peace’s, I can imagine some of them filled with little cactus.
I love the little donkey. I hope you'll make a video remaking him on your second channel; I think he would be so cute in the doll's house garden ❤️ Great video as always
If the little bottles are medical, I'd be willing to bet that when they became empty, there had to be children who would have taken possession of them to use to feed their baby dolls. I keep picturing the donkey with simple dowel or stick legs and then made into a rocking donkey (horse). The other idea is to sit him in a small pile of hay in a nativity scene. So many great finds today! I'm so jealous! I love playing with tiny things like these and trying to make them into something. If I can't make them into something recognizable, I turn them into jewelry.
It is so funny that you have to consider cutting off the head of a doll..everything you find is mostly headless..I wish you great luck redoing her face Kate! You had a great lot of finds..loved the thunder in the background. take care
So many good finds and the glass banana shaped bottles are A1 hygienic preformed glass baby feeder bottles and probably for milk. The donkey or horse with the hole in it's back could be from a merry go round toy. Lovely bottles. Have a good week
Amazing finds! I believe, the donkey is a "wobble toy", that had attached legs an a stand, when you push the button below the stand- the string in legs is released and the donkey dances.
The three little glass beads clostered together remind me of cherries my aunt had in her kitchen for many years. Love your videos and my day is always brightened by the joy you both share being together and finding pieces of history. I would love to spend a week in England and Scotland!
I love to watch your bidets. I live in a very small town in Ohio USA. I would love to meet you and your mother. You two have such fun . I would love to mudlark one day
The three lustre glass balls may be the base of an inkwell. I had one like this, they are set with a hollow glass sphere on top that held the ink. This had a shaped glass lid set into a metal hinged rim bit!
You were off to a great start with that wonky donkey! He also made me think of Barney Google and Sparkplug. Thanks for sharing another great adventure!
I have watched probably all your videos but without commenting. Last weekend I was outside cleaning up the yard and found myself saying....."that would be good for craft". Too funny. 😸😸😸 I am going to try to make a diorama so that is on my mind I guess. Now that I have started writing to you I want to say I really enjoy watching you two or three or more 😸. I also watch your doll channel and it is so hard not to be able to go to a dump and find what I need. I live in Calgary Alberta Canada so the dump is off limits to us crafters. But I am collecting what I can.....watching what is available...and hopefully it will all come together for me. Have fun and be safe!!!
What are the chances 😂 so strange. But it does happen. We’ve found the same items at the same time too, really is strange how that happens. Ya could use that thimble in the dolls house as a washing basket. That’s what it looked like to me anyhow. Nice terracotta pipe.
What a great mudlark! I’m so glad you brought the triangle bottle home. I felt bad when it was left behind at the beginning of the video. Imagine…feeling bad for a bottle!?!? Thank you for a nice long adventure & great round-up. Congrats on the pipes! Love 💕 from Michigan, USA.
Use the vases as pillars in the doll house build them up with wood bases and tops. The donkey you could make cloth legs add black beads for the hoofs. Make a tail of hair for it. He is absolutely adorable. You have found such a lovely collection of things ladies. I love your doll creations💕💕💕💕💕💕 I wish I could lark with you two.
Could the donkey be a Putz figure that had stick legs and real hair or yarn for the tail? It looks like a Putz figure that were very popular in the US and made in Germany for Xmas displays. What a great collection of finds! Fantastic trip!
Towards the front right (next to buttons) you have a round bottle with what looks like a metal lid, it resembles very much an old 4711 perfume bottle. My nana used to have the perfume over 45 years ago, I remember it well.
You need to go back soon, take a screen shaker to shift dirt. Have you thought about using blue/white potery to make floor tiles in doll bathroom or outdoor patio floor, atrium? How about pipe stems for donkey legs. Love all your finds. Pam from Texas
Hello 👋 from New York USA you guy's found some amazing finds my favorite definitely was all the Clay Pipes and the Porcelain Bear 🐻 Thank you for bringing me along with you guy's I can't wait to see what you guy's find next 😀 😊
SNAP!! How odd!! I hate that they pulled out the trees because the dump always looked so pastoral, but the awesome finds afterward certainly make up for it. The three glass balls, I’m not sure if they are what I’m thinking, but they reminded me of the glass grapes people used to decorate with in the 60’s and 70’s. Your piece was probably made by one of three companies Sowerby, Davidson or Greener and dates from the 1880s. The three iridescent balls was an ink well with a ball in the centre for the ink and another ball making the lid :) I love the pair of vases, they look very art nouveau! I think the 3 bubble thing might be a paperweight. Probably for a ladies writing desk. Not sure of course but gramma always had a special one when she sat down to write her letters.
the thick spherical lens at the start probably is part of a WWII torchlight ( with a hand dynamo ) you had to squeeze a lever that rotated a dynamo powering the light.

The broken wicker basket pipe could be turned into a beehive on a tree branch, that’s what I saw when you said it could be used in a craft

The donkey is from a carousel. The ones kids ride at the carnival.
