Lovely video with the music insects and wild flowers, and an apt title with the buzzard flying over. Lots of good finds with the birds and doll parts. Love the cobalt blue bottle.

Thank you so much! It is an amazing bottle dump that just keeps on giving! We found an even bigger new area and I found one of my bucket list bottles. It is a bit cloudy though (sick glass) do you have any advice on how to make it clearer perhaps? :)
@@MudlarkingWithKitCaboodlers The only way to clean sick glass it to tumble it, I've been meaning to get one but they are a bit expensive for the good machines... but might bite the bullet one day
@@Sifinds That is a shame I might have to varnish it to see the details. I have wanted to find one of these bottles for years and now I have and it is really cloudy :) (it is not that exciting or rare just do not often find them whole)

Birds and beaks, bits and bobs, of such goodies gobs and gobs. Marble's, buttons, and baby dolls too, crazy odd things you can fix up with glue. Simply delightful!

Love the teeny weeny doll's house finds, I've alwaysadored miniatures. Used to keep my whole childhood collection in a shoe box. Pink bottle stop is gorgeous and very unusual. Sent my afternoon building a garden shed knowing that at the end I would have a gin and tonic, my wife's veg curry and Kit and Caboodlers to watch. It all panned out very well. Loving Kate's green nail varnish, great finds. Have a coffee on me.

Awesome finds, as always, ladies! I think we'd get on quite well if we hunted together! As for all those stopple boppers... I always thought it would be a good thing to make a ring display/holder with them. Of course, I never have done that, LOL. Glad you're taking a breather- you've been doing a ton of work. Oh, we were so excited watching this! Scavenging dumps is so much fun! Congrats on the poison - love the rhyme cup and all the doll parts and just everything! We have found a few new dumps with some interesting finds! The new camera has really made a difference! xx
I have to say the finds from this dump are some of my favorite but it is definitely hard going! Kate loves the camera a lot!!! :) xx

I clean many of my finds with "Denture Tablets". It stopped me from breaking the old bottles I found. I just put warm water in the bottle dn break the tablet and drop it in, most of the time no further cleaning is needed. LOVE THE CAT SCAN!!!!

Oscar was at school on this trip. Oscar is not overly fond of the bottle dump to be honest though as it is very hard going and he gets hot and bothered haha :)

Hello - I am thinking the "fairy on the moon" figurine might be based on a Ziegfeld Follies or Folies Bergere actress? I agree with other viewers that watching you get excited about your finds is quite charming. Now that I have seen a few of your craft videos I can picture in my head what you may make of some of your treasures. It is good to take a breather though - we don't want you to get burned out. hi kate, the blue bottle you mentioned getting stuck in the mud is where i live! it is very dangerous there!
there is a large victorian dump just over the bank. there is a lot of modern stuff on top as it was continuously used
until the 90’s. it was managed by a company called corys and rubbish was brought down from london by barges.

Yes we have not been there for awhile. We should visit again really but as you say most of the rubbish on that particular beach is 40`s I think but still interesting things to be found :)

Comma butterfly and cinnabar moth (black and gold banded) caterpillars! This was such a pleasant bottle dump excursion, as always with you two. I always look forward to your videos. Mum laughing at her finds is so much fun.

The red faceted gem that you found looks like the reflectors used on old stop signs here in the US. I don’t know if you had anything like that over there.

I absolutely adore that little bird at the beginning too, so sweet. I think the cup at the end should be read in a Scottish accent as my Scots friends often use the word “tae”.

Jenner is a common name in my part of Kent. Our village even has a Jenner Way. Funnily enough my ex husband’s mother in law is a Mrs A Jenner too!
Definitely a good few in the Aylesford area.

ALSO- Mrs. used to be a title for even unmarried professional women, like a Victorian cook or house keeper. So the sentiment cup might have been something romantic 💗

I had a great aunt who was a paintress for Royal Doulton, and the family referred to her as "She was a Mrs for Royal Doulton"... she had a team of lower-level paintresses working under her.

Hi, I was out for a walk last night and noticed a glass dump because of a recent construction dig so I started going through it. I found an old Ponds glass jar ( about 1950) and a chalkware dolls foot.. Its not very old because I'm in the states ( mn) but it was so fun! I'm planning on going back today.

Ah-- but very old dumps are anywhere people have lived for a long, long time. I've been doing it my whole life (I grew up in Connecticut), and we called it dump-diving. Sooo much fun!

I have only just found your videos on RUclips and they are a joy to watch! Your excitement and enthusiasm is just so beautiful. I am new to Mudlarking and a friend and I have been twice. We are heading to a location next Saturday so hopefully, we will be lucky with our finds too. I had the oddest of dreams last night which involved birds :o A budgie was the main focus so maybe it's a sign haha! Maybe we will meet on the foreshore one day lovely ladies. Happy searching :)

Wow!! I too had a dream day at at bottle dump today, I found my first dolls parts ( part of the pink doll head and some of its body, an almost whole swan, half of a lady wearing clothes with gold wobbly bits on them!! ) and loads of other cool bottles, so much that I couldn't take them all so I have to go back another day, I filled 6 bags in the one day!!! Thats swan is sooo cute and so are the other doll parts you found!!! I am soo jealous of your blue bead as I found one but I lost it somewhere on the way home ( I put it in one of the bags but I cant find it now! ) Well done with the poison!! thats a really nice find!! The packaging is actually possible to clean, and I have managed to clean quite a few bottles with labels, you clean the bottle as normal but you need to be careful to leave the side with the packaging, and then with your ( wet ) finger, gently dab onto the label to get the dirt off it!!!Beautiful finds on your adventure! :) :) :).:)

Ha ha. Looks like Sunny has given his stamp of approval to the finds. Pretty soon you should have enough pieces to make a Frankendoll head. It would be funny paint stitches where the pieces are joined together.

That is a lovely faceted, what looks like a large garnet, stone! That is a find in a million like the needle in the hay stack! It is very interesting the things you have taken vs the things i can see that i would take. All the bottles are so amazing I might have a glass addiction. I would also take all bottle stoppers too!
