Another fine fine video Spencer. Ya did good you and Micha bringing in 3 fish. That Flathead made my stomach growl. Being out on the water and allowing all your cares to float down stream, just not a better way to relax and unwind. Stay safe and God bless you and yours. 😊😊😊😊
Youve been moving up in those tournaments so your time and effort has been paying off🤠. Mika is an awesome cat and mot a bad fisherman either. Barge bite work best on outside bends with lots of rock. Proud of you Spencer. Great job and great vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 😎💪🙏🏻
I appreciate that sir. Micka is a pretty topnotch dude. Glad I've got to the opportunity to share a boat with him. I've learned a ton. Hope to keep chipping away at it. Gonna have my biggest tourney yet this weekend. Gonna try not to suck.
I really enjoy these tournament videos with you and Micka. You guys get along so well and are both great fishermen. You'll have your day when you catch the winning bag I'm sure of it. Thanks for sharing all these awesome trips with us Spencer.
The love for fishing is in the one's who knows thank God your parents understand the assignment and you never let them down God bless All of you an for that we are happy to watch you fish fish on😅😅😅😅
Always a blast watching your video's. I learn and at the same time your commentary is entertaining. Keep making great content. Maybe ill see ya on the water one day.
Good job! Had to cull two fish, means you were always going the right direction. This river just crested today, creeks are rushing, think I'll spend the next two days on fresh water instead of salt.
So Spencer ….. I mentioned my struggles with you. I had a horrible exhaustion day today( Monday) So I got to the 7 minute mark of your video and stopped it. At 9:30pm I grabbed my shrimp and chicken and headed to the Housatonic River. I had a slow start but I finally, I guess, hit a school of channel cats…. I stayed until 12:30am and finally caught 7 channel cats …. Nothing like the rod shaking, then bends over and the drag goes off. Your video motivated me to get my ass up and go out! Thank you .. Dan ..
I been planning on buying a baitcaster and decided to ask my uncle if I could borrow his to practice casting them I kinda know how I know how to set it up for fishing whatever rig I've got and how to use my thumb to keep it from backlashing but between tryna pay attention where I'm aiming and releasing the lock at the right time I'm so used to spinning and spin casters I keep forgetting to use my thumb and have backlashed it 3 times in the last 3 days I might end up sticking with spinning rods
Nothing wrong with spinning gear. With that being said, practice makes all the difference and bait casters are worth the effort. Way more power and more compact.
Spence can you tell me what brand, and where I can get those rod upright holders you have on the backside your new boat mounted by the livewell in front of it I would like get some for my seaark ..appreciate it..
I'm actually headed to Tenn in mid May. I'll have to try and remember that place for skips, when i go. Question, being strictly a bank angler; what would you say is the better live bait rig? Depth would range feom 5 to almost 25'. Pretty steady current as well.
I call that a good day on the water bud, 11th out of 40 isnt nothing to sneeze at, keep at it and I'm sure we are gonna see you in those top spots. I say one of the missing pieces is having Wood and Skip aboard, for some reason you get into bigger fish when they are around.
Got my PB flathead last night and a potential state record brown bullhead. Bullhead ate a 6" live chub and I think the flathead tried to eat it off the stringer right before I caught him. It was a weird night.
If you could figure out a way to safety pin the mouth shut where they coudn't expell breakfast. Lost more a couple of bass tourneys where they coughed up a few shad or blue gill that cost a few dollars on the check before safety pinning the mouths shut
Thanks for being you and never changing. Another with 2 of my absolute favorites is a great way to celebrate getting off work

Thanks Patricia. That flathead was lucky it was tournament day and not a day when I had an empty freezer haha. Thanks as always.
One place outta top ten is pretty darn good. Had a great time watching. Podiums in the near future.
Glad ya enjoyed it man. I'm definitely gonna keep trying.
Fishing for bait with rod&reel and a 11th place in a tournament is a funny way to spend time.
Thanks for sharing, Spencer!
Nice catch !
You`re moving up the food chain .
Thanks for bringing us along .
Thanks man! I've learned a ton so far, but got a ways to go. It's been a fun ride for sure.

Nice to see you in my neck of the woods. A 70lb flathead was just caught at that steam plant. Some big fish in the Cumberland

Now what would be cool is a fishing trip with sam ryan spencer and micka
I could definitely see that happening one of these days. Thanks for watching man!
Looks like a hell of a time man 🍻 those spots look amazing, Great vid
It definitely was dude. Thanks for watching!
I’m a resident of TN and I’ve actually fished that PowerPlant before! I never knew about the skipjack there! Love your videos!

My favorite place to get skips I always go there
It's a solid spot man
I had a BLAST! Keep it up, someday that Huge Pig will jump on your line, hopefully during a Tournament. Best of luck!
Still trying too get that flathead at texoma. Great video

love your tournament vids man
Awesome video man 🎣🎣👍👍
Awesome video. Nice finish
Thank you very much man.
Spence can you tell me what brand, and where I can get those rod upright holders you have on the backside your new boat mounted by the livewell in front of it I would like get some for my seaark ..appreciate it..
You bet. They're smackdown rod holders. Pretty handy setup.
I'm talking bout the one you have mounted on the side of the livewell for storing rods in upright position
@@CATFISHCHRIS me too. It's a model smackdown sells.
Ok
@@RiverCertified thanks ill try find em
Boater probably from Kansas ..they are all over Truman Lake..thanks
Great vids, would love to see indepth how you anchor the boat. What's the drift sock for?
You’ll get to the top soon.
Cruisin' down the river watching fish tv.
Is a skipjack a blueback herring ?
They're related, but a different species.
I’m pretty sure he was fishing the hot ditch, but it really sounded like something else. 😂😂😂
Heck ya good work! Just found your page, what’s the details on your cutting board set up on your cooler.
I'm actually headed to Tenn in mid May. I'll have to try and remember that place for skips, when i go. Question, being strictly a bank angler; what would you say is the better live bait rig? Depth would range feom 5 to almost 25'. Pretty steady current as well.
Good fish fellas Cumberland is my stomping grounds as well not bad
Great video brother
Congratulations on 11th place great viedo
You stop by the busy bee for a biscuit? Grew up 10 minutes down the road from the steam plant 😂
Great video
Awesome video

Hey Bauer! What doesn't walk but tumbled down a hill? 😂 If you didn't get its a SkipJack 😂😂😂😂
I have to confess that I have not caught a fish in 2024 yet. I can blame some of it on heavy rains, but I was jealous watching you catch your bait.
I hope you find some time to get out there. I love creek mouths when the water is running good.
Those are nice skipjacks
Good times! What reels are you fishing with there Spencer?
It definitely was! I'm running piscifun allijoz 400s. I have a link and promo code in the description that will save you some money.
You should take ty to help patrol some pigs for your tournaments lol that would be fun to watch
Y'all fishing the tournament in Chattanooga this weekend
Get out my bait spot lol😂
Have they closed it off yet? Heard it's shutting down for a year because of maintenance
@@RiverCertified not yet I was there last night
Are the rods on the right the new Hog Seekers? Thinking about getting one.
Those were mad kats rods I believe. They're Micka's.
sometimes try a spot to your left or right,or striat down
what do you think about pay lakes
11th is pretty dang decent out of 40+
I felt like it was a respectable finish. Gonna keep chipping away at it.
What is Mikas channel?
Should be linked in the description.
That’s after Phil King, I believe, he was kinda a legend in catfishing, before it got too popular, well in the 90’s.
I still consider him a legend. I read every article and watched every video I could find that he was ever mentioned in.
♥
I remember a foggy boat ride in Iowa.
Yours was much more difficult
The Ol' Basser Bite?
Every time. Except when they don't.
@@RiverCertified Bassers are a fickle subculture. They aren't "Fisherman",..They're "Bass Fisherman."
When is the kayak trip getting posted from that dirty river?
Hopefully a couple weeks. Gonna hit em hard next week, weather pending.
@@RiverCertified chasin the Moby fishes that spot a lot from what I’ve noticed. I just started watching him a few weeks ago.
@hawkwrangler1950 oh that's what you meant. That happened last year man. Posted that video last March.
@@RiverCertified 🤣 he just posted his a couple days ago.
If you're hyper you want things like right now. Believe me I know 😂
Well 11th place is awesome and much better then 12th lol. We'll done to you guys.
Agreed haha. Thanks man!
Everyone is on the water. I'd hate to be in one of those boats after the bass they are about to take flight ✈️
You gonna fish the seaark invitational tournament
Yessir. Gonna be a new experience for sure. 180+ boats.
First place coming soon just hang in there
Lets gooooo
If you could figure out a way to safety pin the mouth shut where they coudn't expell breakfast. Lost more a couple of bass tourneys where they coughed up a few shad or blue gill that cost a few dollars on the check before safety pinning the mouths shut
with lures like that, you might catch bluegill
Maybe say what weight the winner had…
I think they had 108. Caught a couple dandies.
I have attention deficit at 69 i still want stuff right then before my mind goes somewhere else 😅
