I had heard a bit of his stuff and of course knew My Name Is which I thought was good but didn't necessarily care about all that much. But this song right here spoke to me big time. So much is being said here and the way he just tells everyone to take it or leave it all while maintaining a crazy flow and rhyme scheme.

It’s hands down one of his best rhyme scenes ever. And that’s saying a lot since all he does is write amazing rhymes with otherworldly rhyme schemes. But this was a flow and scheme i don’t think even the top 1 percent of lyricists and brilliant rhyme schemes rappers would have considered. It’s such a bizarre (in the best way) scheme/flow pattern. It’s truly god like. Otherworldly. That’s why when people say he’s not good or he’s untalented or overrated I’m like okay... you go get a rhyme scheme/flow pattern and lyrics that amazing and then talk smack. They could never amount to a quarter of his pen game talent and rap mind process and thoughts. They couldn’t even wish or imagine. Ever.
Edit: Best Friend verse is hands down one of his best verses ever but this one still wins for me. Finding some of the words and ways he rhymes on this and the rhyme scheme and flow is just absolute insanity.

Eminem was a huge part of my life growing up. 8 mile came out on my 13th birthday, November 8th, which I went and seen. He helped me cope with angry issues, and figuring out how to get thru them as a teenager. Not everyone grows up in a perferct environment regardless of where u r from or what u look like. He was awesome and I wish I had or one day have a chance to see him in concert. He spoke nothing but the truth.

He said that the recordlabel was on him to make another hit like "My name is" and the columbine shooting recently happened so they wanted him to make a song about it and show sympathy about it because it was a big deal, but that made him angry because school shooting happened alot but this time it happened in middle amerika, an uppger class city and now it's a big deal? Now i should show sympathy? - He said, in the intervju. So he mentioned it, but not in the way they wanted.

The cadence, ridiculous rhyme schemes, passion about Proof, double entendres, and subject schemes are just insane. The only thing that comes close to it is “Caterpillar” in my opinion.
