You must be very proud of your daughter! She gets the job done!
I hope she is getting other young kids involved just by watching her. I’m very proud of her and how far she has come to controlling feral pigs.
Glad to see you’re not wasting the meat. You are giving it way. To people that can use it. God bless y’all.
Thank you
Wow I had no idea this was happening to farmers, that's a lot of work to protect lands. It's also very entertaining to see these traps in action
And it keeps getting worse every year. Thanks for watching!!
None of those hogs had ever missed a meal. They were big! Good job everyone!
Thank you
Good afternoon , thanks for sharing , God bless !
Same to you! And as always, thank you for watching.
Your daughter is an ace. That's some good shooting 👍🏿
She has a lot of trigger time
Keep knocking heads. I see all the damage they cause 👍🏿
Thank you for watching
Congratulations ! hello from Miami, FL
Thanks and welcome
Harmless treatment to nuisance animals, nice work.
Thanks for watching
Those pigs were really moving that trap when the doors went down. Great job.
Thank you. They go full out.
You guys should look into Pig Brig Hog trap; no need to monitor and drop gates. Much better than drop gates traps.
My goal for landowners and being a hog trapper is complete Sounder catch. The only way I know to do that so far is to monitor, count and trap them at one time without educating any hogs. The pig Brig does catch hogs but it is not a durable trap. It is also a lot of labor to setup and take down to move for next property. When you trap as many properties as we do, it needs to be easy to use and confirm the entire sounder is eliminated. That’s why we use a Game Changer Trap. Very versatile on different setups, very strong and easy to use.
Thanks for watching
@hollyridgehomestead8184 I see. So you are invested in your drop gate hog trap design.
I have seen videos that the hogs that are close to the drop gates, when they hears the trigger sound, just escape. So, not all hogs get trapped.
The Pig Brig is made of durable nets (double), and it disassemble in a relatively small pile of nets.
The fixed cattle panels and gates are cumbersome to move around.
Usually, when a better technology comes along, most people gravitate to it.
But, if you are happy with it, it is your business.
멋져요!
Thank you
👍👍
Vous faites quoi de tout ces cochon? Vous mangez la viande? Ma viande préféré, nous n’avons pas de porcs sauvage ici, en Guadeloupe (FWI). Bonne vidéo, merci
Thank you
Bet yawl eat a lot of bacon! Mmmmm!
Great job. To bad I didn't live close by. That would be some nice meat.
I would fill up your freezer. But we do give them away to families for processing.
Backing trailer into pen would have saved so much dragging . Just curious why not
I'm wondering if the noisy traps are going to make it harder to trap hogs in the future. If any are outside that hears and sees the panic, they'll probably be very hesitant to go in one. Why don't the gates have some noise suppression? I saw a soft trap and the hogs didn't even realize they were trapped, however I have my doubts a soft trap would hold up very well.
We catch the whole sounder at once. While conditioning them to the trap, we are doing head counts and observing what boars come in with the sounder. We are not concerned if boars are on the outside when we trap, but will try to catch them at the same time. Every once in a while we will take care of them on the outside with a thermal.
I have a question wouldn't it be better if you kept the piglets alive and let them grow then kill them, so you can get more meat out of them
@@peacekeeperjfsr some people do that. Here you have to have a permit to transport wild feral pigs and then a permit to hold wild feral pigs. But we also have so many that there’s plenty for who wants them.
@@peacekeeperjfsr there's about 1.5 million feral pigs and hogs just in Texas alone
🙏🙏
PUNO PRICAS , A, MALO RADIS!
Man, a catch like that would bring at least $350 in Texas. Too bad you guys can’t take them to a buying station. 🤦🏻♂️
That would be nice.
Big Facts
O que são feitos com esses porcos abatidos ?🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷✌️
Processed for food when possible
I wonder, does the state pay you to do this or is this out of your own free will because the state doesn't have any "proper" solution to the hog problem? I've seen how rampant these big bastards can do and it crazy how despite so many being hunted down, they feel like they haven't gotten smaller, but bigger and bigger. Also, is this type of trap legal in your state (like you won't get any issues with people with badges showing up)?
So the state does not pay me. But that would be nice. I would say 75% of the trapping we do is no charge. I however do charge for trapping at the appropriate time.
These type of cellular traps are 100% legal in our state. To dispatch them you have to have a basic hunting license. Hope for that to change one day.
i saw a small one (hog) in one of your videos, that tried to bite your Daughters leg !,as she gave it a boot ,....i thought ? "i was a Postman for 20 yrs " and even the small dogs can give you a nip that smarts! (although she gets to dispatch the guilty party , it still don't tickle!. (as for me , i couldn't even mention it back at the station! (for all the laughing ,that my Fellow "Posties" would do!) ya might tell her to keep 6 , the small bites can really bug ya , anyways ..bye for now and god bless a good Tasty BBQ hog for ya !
I remember that day and it has happened again. We do laugh about it because they are so aggressive. We don’t always handle them. Just when we are teaching others how to handle them.
@@hollyridgehomestead Another thing i should tell you about (if you have not seen it already) is;"Okay Sahin", (Big Ones ,in Russia!)or ..on a Lighter note "Taofledemaus"& "The OG Danger show" (good ol boys that know how to shoot right and strait)(good gun safety and sciences)!...PS .I love how all the kids and people are well adjusted to Culling(it's not kill!) and they are Mature to the likes of Adults about that !(The Kids ) I think every one has the news that if they where alone in the brush , "They are Dinner! (With no spice!) and we got way more spice of life and good home cooking!
HOLY cow,, one catch---53 pigs,,, yep,, trapping is the key to get rid off them in a lump sum,,
other guys shooting with rifle or shot gun,,, nah,, no compare to one catch----53
Yes trapping whole sounders is the key. The 1st drop was 43 and the 2nd drop was 10 to make 53 total. Hope I didn’t mislead anyone.
How come you guys are allowed to show the "Shootin" when Yawt Yawt supposedly isn't?
Probably because I’m smaller channel. But I hope it’s also because it falls under the educational of euthanizing them properly. Which David does everything right.
UR daughter is REAL! Not afraid to get her hands dirty all while still lookin purty :)
She’s all about it
