    Hi Lion King,
    I drive a 406, EW12. I noticed my car overheated last week.
Preliminary check shows that my Thermostat was working, there was water in the car.
A scan with PP2000 showed this result; (Intermittent : Fan 2 (High Speed); Short circuit, positive...)
I also notice that it doesnt start overheating until after about an hour plus drive..
My UTM said I need to change my fan.
Little research shows that it has to do with the speed of the fan but i cant relate.
Please how do i fix this?
    Thanks

Good morning Sir. Same thing mine had, I just got an EW10 307 but my issue is that once I come back from a long drive and I put off the car. The cooling fan keeps running for like 5 minutes before it's stops. Is it also normal?

Gidday mate, Good Job! I've been thinking a lot about Pug 307 temps lately- Wifey drives a 2L hdi and, doing 100kph up a mountain pass or 110 on a long hot drive with ac and a load on board, the temp goes from around town 80(ish+)Deg to 90+. My old t5 hdi never gets above like, 85 -even on a 40+ something day. Was concerned, as hers is a really nice all over machine and twould be a damm shame to cook the eng. Was contemplating doing thermost & rad to be sure but now I'm gunna check more to verify your information. I never thought to inquire the tolerance specifications of the engine. If they ARE designed as you say to be able to run hot for long, that would explain some other factors that have wondered about.
    THANKS AGAIN.

Same thing happens to me. Up hill, loaded and AC on, temperature is going up over 90 deg.
