Well if you remove the coolant sensor and the fan runs, replace the radiator cooling fan control module, where the plug in point is for the fan, that unit that's you plug into you remove with a torx bit. It has a coil of some sort.
Sandy, does the cooling fan has more stages or not through relays? Is the thermostat in the pipe doing its job? Hope you will find the solution.Cheers.
With no scanner. I've no front fan when turning on A/C compressor (05 307 SW). When I pull the green sensor plug engine water thermostat fan runs fine. Software maybe? After a quick drive the fan runs and remains running for a short while (just like it used to) So after moving sensor connection we'll see! Thanks.
you could use resistors in place of the coolant sensor and see what temperature the ecm uses to turn the fan on with out actually overheating the engine....and the fan only seems to come on high only.....i have never heard it come on low...only time i heard it on low is with bi directional control....also are there any other temperature sensors... like outside temperature....some cars will not let the ac compressor come on if the outside temperature sensor reads below 50 Fahrenheit
HELP HI. I'M 308 VTİ. ENGİNE FAN CONTINUOUSLY WORKING . THERMOSTAT, ROLE AND INSURANCE CHANGED. PROBLEM CONTINUE . ENGINE COLD FAN CONTINUOUS WORK . OBD CODE P1062 - P1067 (Valvetronics) WHAT TO DO FIRST? P1062-P1067 (Valvetronics engine ) CAUSE?

Decade box is your friend here mate, are you 100% sure that it's not the cap leaking pressure? Remember - boiling point goes up as pressure increases.
Cheers Steve I'll need to order box and I'll try another cap, thanks, sandy
Same problem with peugeot 207 sw, except that there was a leak on radiator itself, so there was not enough pressure. Thank you
Lm auto repairs did a Citroen? with a fan issue, software update cured it. Check his channel out sandy.
Cheers I'll check it out, sandy
