    Good morning Brother.
    I am proud of young Caleb! He will soon have that BFT mastered. Thanks for mentioning me, my friend. I really appreciate it.
    Really good seeing you folks out there trapping. Those Raccoons can sure be destructive on corn.
    Hope you folks have a great day.

    Those "can" traps are awesome. That's what we use to harvest raccoon with. Cheap dog food, pancake syrup and a dash of vanilla. Those little boogers cannot resist. We will make roast out of 1 or 2 small raccoons. Offer some friends of ours who serve them for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner, a harvest if they'd care for them. They decimate my chickens. Just when I think I have figured out how to keep them out, they come back with a construction company and sniper team and break in again. Then the hunt for their break-in spot is on, again. I tell you this, I should have invested in hardware cloth stocks a long time ago. 😅 I'd be well to do by now with all the stuff I've had to purchase. Thank you for another awesome video. It's always a joy to see you all taking care of business on the homestead. ❤ Lots of love and blessings from Southeast Texas

      I have yet to witness that, but many times I’ve seen them eating my chickens and eggs. Tell them to stick with bugs….. there’s plenty!

    • @Sea-cucumber1151
      @Sea-cucumber1151 8 дней назад +1

      @@McGieHomesteadAdventures you’re right they can, but they are the known biggest tick eater in the wild. The amount of bugs they eat helps keep the insect populations down. Not sure they eat stink bugs since I am sure they taste like they smell. They also never get rabies, which is good to know. So they are good to have around, just need to stay away from the chickens.

      Morning. Question. What’s the deal or what were you referring to when you said “the brighter the better” when trapping coons? I guess I missed something. Trying to get an understanding. Are you saying raccoons are attracted to bright colors?
