My favorite people again with a video, I started watching all the videos on the channel because I've been here for a month and I really like everything you do.
Good morning Brother. I am proud of young Caleb! He will soon have that BFT mastered. Thanks for mentioning me, my friend. I really appreciate it. Really good seeing you folks out there trapping. Those Raccoons can sure be destructive on corn. Hope you folks have a great day.
Love your videos. God has blessed you with a wonderful family. Watching your videos I can see your children admiring their father. Sir well done on raising your children. You are doing a wonderful job of raising and educating your children. God bless your family.
Those "can" traps are awesome. That's what we use to harvest raccoon with. Cheap dog food, pancake syrup and a dash of vanilla. Those little boogers cannot resist. We will make roast out of 1 or 2 small raccoons. Offer some friends of ours who serve them for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner, a harvest if they'd care for them. They decimate my chickens. Just when I think I have figured out how to keep them out, they come back with a construction company and sniper team and break in again. Then the hunt for their break-in spot is on, again. I tell you this, I should have invested in hardware cloth stocks a long time ago. 😅 I'd be well to do by now with all the stuff I've had to purchase. Thank you for another awesome video. It's always a joy to see you all taking care of business on the homestead. ❤ Lots of love and blessings from Southeast Texas
Love this Mcgee my little buddy is a good trapper and David is a good skinner I been wondering where frank is it worrying me him not being on any Thanks McKee 😊
Good haul. I caught three racoons 7yrs ago when I first moved here after they kille a couple chickens. I got a good dog that lives outside and haven't seen any since. I need to work on rabbits now.😐
maybe you know all of my sweet corn was stolen this year all the cobs still on the stalk just stripped clean never seen anything like it not ground hogs which is all i ever dealt with

Looks like they were having a party in your field as for the leg trap 🪤 i seen on RUclips where they added a little peanut butter made them dig a little deeper great video thanks for sharing keep the cameras rolling from Florida
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures you’re right they can, but they are the known biggest tick eater in the wild. The amount of bugs they eat helps keep the insect populations down. Not sure they eat stink bugs since I am sure they taste like they smell. They also never get rabies, which is good to know. So they are good to have around, just need to stay away from the chickens.

Here’s the question. Just trying to understand the pink trap. Morning. Question. What’s the deal or what were you referring to when you said “the brighter the better” when trapping coons? I guess I missed something. Trying to get an understanding. Are you saying raccoons are attracted to bright colors?

Yes absolutely! You can catch a raccoon with nothing more than aluminum foil! It probably has some sort of appearance if a shiny fish maybe? But they absolutely do!!!
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures Didn’t know that. Interesting. As for RUclips I copied and pasted my question. Gone. Took out the word trapping and the word coon and you responded

Wow so very interesting 🌺🌴🍍✝️🇺🇸🤙🏽
We're glad you enjoyed it!
Put a golf ball on top of you DP traps, field mice can get in and steal the bait too, and if it rains you wont have you food get soaked
Thanks for the tip! I'll have to try that.
