Summit Hike and Snowboarding Double Black Diamond “Catwalk” - Killington, VT (GREAT Conditions)

Hiking up to the summit at Killington Resort, Vermont and riding down the Catwalk Double Black Diamond trail on January 21, 2024. Best conditions I’ve ever ridden on there, usually it’s all ice and many days the trail isn't even open. Only takes about 5-10 minutes to reach the summit, definitely worth it for the 360 degree views on a clear day.

Planning to go out to killington for the first time in March. Is the only way to get to this trail is by hike?
