the absolute freedom that comes with skill is incredible. it must be kind of scary to go off into the woods like that though, so much that can go wrong
Hey Im a local skier in telluride and I think you did a pretty good job of explaining the runs you did, a lot of that stuff can be challenging and you guys crushed it for your first time
I lived here for 8 years now, more than half my life. I have done all of these runs and it was really nice to see yall do this! You did some gnarly runs! Much love from the San Juans! PS always be careful when riding the snake tracks if you havent been here before/arent experienced w/ the town...Tellurides got a LOT of cliffs!!
So happy people have finally filmed the more technical gnarly zones of telluride. Can't emphasize how much the place really has to offer if you just look around.
@@videogamesprime5889 Gnarly is one of the best words ever. In the Off-roading 4-wheeling and Enduro motorcycle world it's definitely used on occasion to describe terrain.

Just got back from Telluride- 29 inches in the last week, a lot more snow than in this video. Been to Jackson Hole, Snowbird, Whistler, Squaw, Big Sky and Breckenridge. This is best advanced/expert skiing I've ever experienced. First day was a powder day. This place is a dream and an absolute must for an advanced skier but the terrain is varied for all levels. Incredible scenery. Number 1 in my book in North America.
This snow blower is great for the cost! ruclips.net/user/postUgkxoHYZbq5g9fkcAtinlTqstNlje-UQkCHN I powered through a foot of blizzard snow yesterday. I had to turn off the machine to clear out the snow several times but it was no big deal. Overall it didn’t save me much time vs. shoveling but it definitely saved my back! The cord didn’t get in the way too often once I figured out a pattern and I was glad to only have to deal with a cord vs. gas and oil in the freezing temperatures. When we used the snow blower on about 4 inches, it was so quick and easy! I definitely recommend this blower if you’re like us and only get a handful of really big storms every year. Also, some of the reviews mentioned that this blower isn’t great on uneven surfaces. Our driveway is definitely pretty uneven in spots and I really didn’t have much trouble. I had to lift the front over a couple miniature steps where there were height changes just like I would have had to do with a shovel. I can’t imagine any snow blower would handle the change in driveway height any better because they all should be scraping right on the ground in order to clear the snow.Sure, if I was willing to spend a couple hundred dollars more, I’d get a more powerful machine that would go faster and could handle deeper snow without me having to clear it out occasionally but I’m not.
that "snake track" with all the ripples and terrain looked so fun! I haven't been snow boarding in yes. I think ill get on the mountain again this year.
I remember when I was a kid skiing at 10 years old in 83/84 seeing “double black” or even the more mysterious, the “triple black diamond” runs😅They always seemed like scary things, like you don’t even want to START to go down. Like it’s wall steep, with no way out or something. Much later in my 20’s in the 90’s I’d bomb right down them on my snowboard but those are fond memories.
I’ve seen a few triple black runs and always wondered if they were even an official classification for a slope. I thought it topped out at double black
Awesome terrain off prospectors bowl. Like to go back there cause when I went years ago they did not have chairlift accessing that area. Beautiful and March is best time I heard for the back country skiing there. Thanks for posting this.

There are actually 2 chair lifts in town with pass offices right next to them so you don’t have to ride the gondola all the way into Mountain Village.
