- Killington, VT's Catwalk is one of those Eastern "gems:" it's fairly unknown (despite being on the trail map), and has the classic New England features (narrowness, rocks...). This is one of the only trails in New England that requires a hike (although fairly non-demanding).
The trail itself is narrow, as mentioned above, but it not very steep. Спорт
Been a decade and a half since I've been to big K but you've inspired me for next winter. One of the coolest little runs there. Well worth the small hike.
Been many times....How the hell did I miss this?? Great video
Just did this today. You made it look so easy!
You are one he'll of a fast hiker!
love this trail
You’ve got top notch control
ugh i’m missing this trail. my two favorite ski resorts are closed :(
Yeah Corona has everything shut down, so I finally have the time to edit some of the videos that were filmed about a month ago.
Damn, my 3 days at killington and I didn't even see this trail, do you think this the best double black?
When considering the experience, the scenery, and terrain this is 100% IMO the best trail
@@AdventuresOfGalen the terrain looked more intense then any black or double we were on, where exactly is catwalk located?
@@chadlington1 It is at the top of the mountain, slightly up and just to the right on the summit gondola on the map. It ends on 'high traverse' which is near 'downdraft'
I’m confused, what was the part you showed the view from the peak? Is that the same trail or do you have to hike more for that?
yea you just walk more up, where the catwalk sign is, on the left of it their is some stairs, they are usually covered in snow, but you can see the railing, you just walk up id say like 150 feet maybe, and you’ll b at the peak, it’s worth the little bit of walking.
respect the hunker down on the ice but sheesh brother every carve... is a sign of weakness
ahhh, east coast skiing...
Dope right?
