    Oh Talli Faye I am so going to make this for sure. I'm 70 years old and have canned my whole life. Rest assured, this will be on my pantry shelf. I live in SE Minnesota and have been married 53 years to my high sweet heart. We have always raised a big garden and canned everything we got our hands on. This will be added . Thank you for sharing

    Talli Faye......oh my, my, my lord, is this some good stuff. I have never heard of this before, but you bet your britches that I will be making this every year. I'm 70 years old and have been canning all my life. This was as easy as it gets. More canning recipes.......Don't be scared folks try it. Very easy and delicious. I will never go back to eating plain old yellow mustard.

    Just made this, canned 5 pints, made Fried Bologna Sandwiches OMG! NEVER GO BACK TO REGULAR MUSTARD! Talk about stretching the buck!! TYVM! Your a DAM Good cook!! I wasn’t even SCARED!! Lol

    When I saw the thumbnail for this video, I immediately shared this with my sister in law. She sells a hot mustard butter at the flea market. That mustard looks so beautiful in the jars and you know it's going to be delicious. Thank you for this great recipe!

    Just a hint. Next time measure out 2 cups from a 20 oz container of mustard and 4 ozs are left. This is the first time I have seen anyone make mustard. Will definitely have to make this recipe. Thank you for sharing.

    I can attest to jalapeño burning the fire out of you, I had been cutting them up for cornbread then washed my hands several times, and later that evening rubbed my eye thought I was going blind it burnt so bad guess it was underneath my fingernail! How beautiful that jalapeño mustard looked!🫶🙏

    I've never had this, but I'm sure I'd love it. One of my favorite things to do when I go to old fashioned general stores is to look at and taste the various "sauces". This would fit in very well at one of those.

    just made my 3rd of which my children decicedthey like toooo. I had to make 2more. oh and let me tell you about my jellies had to make a double batch they ate them tooo. So I guess it's good sugar and all even hubby eats it on anything .I guess No One SCARED!!!! HAHA ITS GOOD! ARLENE U ARE SO EJOYABLE KEEP GOING!!!!

    TALLI WHAT DO USE AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR POT TO KEEP THE JAR BOTTOMS FROM TOUCHING BOTTOM OF THE POT? I LOVE THIS FOR CATFISH IN PLACE OF TARTAR SAUCE BECAUSE SPICE IS IT!!! THANKS, LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!! YOU ARE ONE OF MY FAVS!!! DONT BE SCARED!!! LOL!!! IS THAT A CANNING POT THAT YOU USE?

      If you look in the canning isle, they should have these big pots… they will have a grating in the bottom especially for canning 😊

    Hi Talli Faye 👋 that looks good. I like jalapeño stuff, but I'm the only one around here who does. I make a homemade sweet mustard, too, and my family devours that. I like your football jersey. I have a Green Bay Packers jersey, but I'd rather have a Chicago Bears one, lol 😆

    Couldn’t I add some yellow and orange peppers to make up the difference? I like to make yellow and orange pepper jelly. I never made mustard. Looks delicious. Thanks.

    I'm old enough to remember when mustard came in glass jars with screw lids. At that time , I think French's was the top brand. I also remember my Papa smearing mustard plaster on his chest.

    So it blisters your skin so what do you think it does to your stomach and bowels. My hubby loved hot spicy foods and ate several kinds on a daily basis and ended in in the hospital after bleeding from the rectum. Be careful folks.

    Talli Fe. When you’re short of Jalapeños, why not add some Red Bell Peppers to bring up your yield?
    I’m very surprised, that this doesn’t call for Garlic and Onions, as well! (Don’t say anything to Buzz!).

    I just made this & it’s very salty??? Not spicy at all. I added Raspberry juice instead of water. I have paid $23. For a tiny jar of raspberry mustard and I added mustard seeds too.

      @@Straderjayne I’m so sorry it didn’t work out … We have never had any problem with the mixture of 1/4 c salt to 4c of sugar ratio.. I’ve never put raspberry in it so I don’t know how that works… Again I’m really sorry, I wish it would have turned out to your liking because we enjoy it so much.
