2:33 very important. throw your hips up. i never knew why everyone did it so i didnt do it. i spent 13 months on the shelf after dislocating my vertebrae, 15 months on im still recovering. sitting and standing still for more than 5 minutes is a pain in the ass (literally)
I received 2 herniated discs in the military... that was 17 years ago... Tonight I took that bump over and over and over...the most important part of that bump is to make damn sure you don’t “kerplunk”... you want one sound with the upper part of your back taking most of the impact.
Front flips of any kind must have the person doing some kind of cannon ball like motion. Legs bent and tucked in and throw ur hips as u said. Everything else is timing and ur jump
I learned this from Buster Keaton. His front flip was perfect…all point landing. Keaton tucked his head super late so it looked almost lethal. Great form here!
I did too! Best tip I can give it make sure you stare directly at top rope or just above and keep that head straight! Where your head goes your body follows which means you are probably moving your head or tucking it left or right at the very last second after your air born make sure you really swing those arms at the peak of the jump and flip trust me you’ll be okay and you’ll land exactly how you need to.
I absolutely love professional wrestling, every aspect of it... and when I realized I was learning how to take a front bump from a guy wearing his glasses I heard jim cornette say "He's exposing the M.Fing business!" Thanks for having such an AWESOME channel. Do you provide any one on one coaching?
Hi. I've got a question about the flip bump. I've been training for just about a year now, can mostly do this bump fine. Our trainers taught us to land with our hands at a 45 degree angle, rather than the "T-Shape" for back bumps. What is your opinion on this?
I'd def ddt myself into a concussion if i would every try this alone 😂😂 so much respect for you guys that do this for pretty much no money in the indies.
Thank you for this video it helped me a lot with form etc so I have at least a semi decent idea of what I'm doing before doing to start training in a few weeks 😁
Dang. I never did an elbow really before going into wrestling school. I did some front flips on the trampoline and stuff, but that's it. I did F5s lol. I did bodyslams. I did a Samoan drop once in the pool
That’s pretty much the same as we do in Ju-jitsu, though we call it break-falls. The only difference is when we slap the mat we put our arms out at about 45 degrees rather than in a T shape. I wonder if there’s any reason for the difference in wrestling or if it’s just a preference?
@Santino Bros. Wrestling I kinda need some advice here. I can do a flip bump, that's not a problem. Though I can't flip right. Like I almost go corkscrew for no particular reason. Any tricks about the footwork please?
my problem is that i don't have enough leg strength to properly jump and flip. I mostly flip but when flipping, it turns into a quarter roll bump. That's the only aspect i have REAL trouble about it. After 5 months, still haven't done correctly, it's kinda demoralizing that when you're about to do it, you see everyone's face knows that you're not going to succeed and i mean everyone!
Most important part guys: TUCK YOUR CHIN!!! I was very lucky to not receive a concussion one time because I landed directly on my dome from a botched flip bump.
Skimming through the video using the fast forward button and literally every skip starts with “uhhhhm...” so all I heard was “uh...uhhhm...uhhh...uhh....” lol
anyone else amazed h e flipped with glasses on!
He did multiple times and it didn't fall off? How???????????? How is that possible?

Sending positive vibes and prayers for a full recovery my friend.

How do you do that to sell out a powerful clothesline and the other guy backflips?

This is tough as hell.
This was super flippin' helpful.
I did it just now and it works! Thank you so much 😊
Nice.
I'm just scared of falling on my head
I just sent it. It's scary as hell at first but after a few you get it and it just feels right.
im supposed to be doing a 5-part English final due in two days, but here i am.
How did it go lol
@@ladistar it was overdue but my professor was cool about it. It all ended up okay, thankfully
I'm glad I found this. It's the only bump I've never been able to master. As I flip, I seem to go of to one side.

Not quite, but we see the resemblance!
Lmfao
My gosh, I've been wondering who is he reminding me of Lol
Why do i feel Stevo's soul in this man

The trampoline advice I'm gonna try

Keep at it dude. It took me so long to be able to do this too, but I got there. If my d*mbass can, so can you!
Thank you
Brasil 👍💚💛
Do we throw our hips up after we land or before
...next... tech us... "The Rolling Thunder!!!" 🤪
ooh how about THE FROG SPLASH!!!
(JUST KIDDING!!! 😅)
Land on the side of your leg hip & butt and save yourself a back injury. Watch how judo fighters land is the key to saving your back.
Could you do a Bear hug demo
Yeah I'm gonna do this about 500 times into a swimming pool first lol. Not exaggerating.
Wimp
Sir I didn't understood when to do back bump
ON impact you slap the mat and tuck your chin. But before that you have to jump and then flip.
Thank you sir
@@marathimotivation92 which wrestling school are you from?
@@banzaihenozu1468 I am going to join a wrestling school but I just watch the videos in corona time of this channel.

Man, even when I was a kid, I couldn't do that stuff. My sense of caution is strong on somethings...smh
