LEA SALONGA is the original voice of DISNEY'S MULAN & ALLADIN, she is also the voice of Tuptim in the King & I with Julie Andrews(sound of music) & Ben Kinsley. She made it big in " Miss Saigon" and won an Emmy & the first Filipina to do it. She also sang as the Eponine in Le Miserables and in 2006 came back and sang as Fantine. She is still active and has done many other broadway musicals.

Regine Velasquez was the 'mother' or 'queen' of all belters in the Philippines. Almost all of the women you've seen in the video were inspired by her. Just recently, the Order of National Artists of the Philippines wants to declare her as an national artist at just the young Age of 53 (She's turning 54 on April 22) but regine was just so full of Humility and said that she don't consider yet the award. She wanted Pilita Corales and/or Jose Mari Chan to be awarded first so that they can still enjoy it while they are still alive. Such a very humble queen no wonder why she is the ONLY singer that still sings regularly compared to other singers who sing occasionally and work behind the camera. She is simply THE BEST😊😊😊
