I actually really enjoy when little editting errors pop up - it shows how much work goes into the videos, in both the practise, time and the amount of takes that goes into filming and the amount of effort, time and footage to plough through while editting. These videos are amazing Justin, thank you for taking us round Route 66, I feel like I'm there and each time you visit somewhere you've filmed before it feels all warm and familiar :-)
My parents bought a 1967 VW camper van to get us all across the USA during the summer of 1967. We drove on Route 66 for part of the way east. Cheers Buddy!
Hi Justin, I have been binge-watching this entire Route 66 Extravaganza. It is so fun to take this trip through your videos ! I had seen some of them last year, but now I'm watching all the episodes in order. Thanks for making such Fun & Positive videos. You are very entertaining and I appreciate your sense of humor -- thanks for the laughs. I really enjoyed your recent snowy trip to NYC, too. Safe Travels to you on your Quest for Positivity !!
Welcome to Texas, Justin! If you want more of our giant cowboys out here in the great state of Texas, check out Big Tex during the Texas State Fare in Dallas. Also come to Austin, we're plenty Weeeeeeird here!
hey Justin,"Amarillo Texas" is the city and town that George Harvey strait went through when he made the album "Amarillo By Morning" I've been through there when I went to Arkansas in which my dad has a church in Denton texas, also George strait lives in "poteet Texas" you might want to stop in and say hello let him know I sent you......PS if you listen to the song " God bless Texas" it's by the band "little Texas",just thought you would like a lil tourist information while your visiting there.
I love your Disney videos, but i have really been enjoying your route 66 trip! You've inspired my family and I to make the trip down Route 66! I love your knowledge and appreciation for all things vintage/retro/midmod and the cool old places that used to thrive in their route 66 hey day!
I appreciate that you mentioned the fact that Tex Randall used to wear real jeans. My Grandma used to sew the jeans he wore. This was back in the late 60's early 70's.
King of the Hill was one of the greatest shows ever made! Get better man! Oh! There's a place in Bisbee, AZ called the Shady Dell where u can stay in old trailers. Pretty cool place!
I wasn't sure if the one scene where Justin redoes a line inside an RV was included on purpose or just an editing error, but either way I love it. And from previous comments, I see that I'm not the only one.
Thank you Justin. The older I get the more I'm getting into RV's. Now I think you should take a few days off and rest. You don't want that cold to get worse. We'll be here for ya. Sending healthy vibes to ya ))))))))))))))))))
OMG I love Tex Randall!! I went to college in Canyon at West Texas A&M University. So cool to see you in my old stomping grounds. I also had several fun times at Cadillac Ranch. BTW its windy there all the time!
Jeff Daniels in real life is a huge RV'er. He actually travels the country in an old bus conversion like what he used in that movie. He talked about it in an interview. He is way into it.
I grew up camping in a starcraft tent trailer almost exactly like that one! it was just a few years newer (77 or 78) but for camping in 2001, it was definitely vintage... before pinterest and instagram made that word cool lol
What a great museum! I had no idea it existed. Thank you for sharing that - and that is one scary lookin' cowboy! Also, I wanted to say that I have so much respect for your dedication to this channel; your love of what you do really shows.
It's a shame you'll only be experiencing that portion of Texas. South Texas has a lot of cool and interesting historical locations. North Central Texas also has the first Six Flags theme park ever built, rightly named, "Six Flags Over Texas" for the six national governing bodies' flags that were flown over Texas soil. The park used to be a place to learn about Texas history; however, it's become a lot more mainstream since its inception.
My childhood was through the 80's and being born in 68 I was just at the end of being dressed in brown corduroy pants and bad reversible jackets at the end of the 70's. My parents ditched the greens and yellows and burnt oranges for more neutral colors in the 80's. RVing in the big bus types, Prevost and the like would be the way I would love to do. Not having north of $450,000 kind of dampens that.
Funny you mentioned Hank Hill, because I was about to make comment about his rump looking a lot like Hanks! That whole problem he had with not having a keister!
❤ this series! Route 66 is on my bucket list. Until I can do it how about you putting a publication of your adventure together(with a lot of pictures)? That's something I would purchase! I would use it to plan my trip! ☺ ✌
Great video. Have you noticed many of the shops carry small bottles of honey? Local honey is a like a booster shot against pollen. Buy local honey and have some. Don't put it in tea, it breaks down the molecules. Honey has antiseptic properties.
Talking to cows... it's becoming a thing. :-) Take it easy Justin - being sick on the road is no fun; don't be afraid to take a day to rest if you need it!!
Amarillo Boulevard, or " "Mo-riller Boolevoward", as I used to mock when I lived there. DUDE! See "RV"! It's a satirical look at RVing, starring Robin Williams, and has some hilarious gags in it as well. The faded circular thing in Tex Randall's pocket is no doubt a can of Skoal, or such-like - SNUFF! Have yer'se'f a dip, or a chaw. Did I ever tell you about my first day in Amarillo? NO? Well, my cousin took me to a BBQ place, where after we'd ordered, a cute li'l teen waitress came over and asked, "Ye'ont summer ass inyer tae"? No kidding. She asked again, and I finally translated it to "You want some more ice in your tea"? YIKES, Justin! Culture clash! Great people there, but some language pitfalls...
Justin I hope you are feeling better now, we don't want you catching the P =( I wish you would take a few days off and chill in a cool old motel, get some good gluten free vittles to cook up in your room with your portable stove, relax, sleep, watch movies... Alight I'll stop.

7:07 I love moments like this! There needs to be a blooper montage made. Power to you Justin for getting it just right! ☺
My parents bought a 1967 VW camper van to get us all across the USA during the summer of 1967. We drove on Route 66 for part of the way east. Cheers Buddy!

Very cool!! On the way back stop by Lile's Art Gallery on 6th Street in Amarillo. He's a huge Route 66 ambassador.
This video is awesome! We lived in a 69 Dodge motorhome from 1998- 2005 the best time of my life! Thanks for sharing!
So cool & really enjoying these videos, guess it's a good thing it's not too hot yet , have fun stay safe & feel better ...

Quite a video, that RV museum is awesome.
While looking at those trailers at that museum, I figured you would have quoted the king of the road song and sang "trailers for sale or rent"
That museum was really cool! Thanks for sharing.
Those Cal Worthingtons are all over the place!

REST IN PEACE ROBIN WILLIAMS!!!!!!! COOL VID !!!!!!
Thanks Justin. Great video of places at my age will never see. Love your Spunk!!!!
Big Tex at the State Fair is 56 feet tall compared to this cowboy's 47 feet. But Big Tex is only up for 24 days of the year.
ahaha the back seat driving bit cracked me up lol

Those RVs look really comfortable...I remember those colours form the 70's.
checkout the rv hall of fame in indiana. it's close to Chicago. also in Bisbee they have a cool vintage trailer park.
RV is on Netflix, it's pretty funny and definitely worth a watch
Another fun video! Keep plugging away, Justin. Your videos are so incredibly appreciated!
I appreciate that you mentioned the fact that Tex Randall used to wear real jeans. My Grandma used to sew the jeans he wore. This was back in the late 60's early 70's.

Interesting ! Happy Memorial weekend !
Hey justin i went on a roadtrip across route 66 in 1966 with an airstream camper..sadly the camper caught fire in Arizona...
I wasn't sure if the one scene where Justin redoes a line inside an RV was included on purpose or just an editing error, but either way I love it. And from previous comments, I see that I'm not the only one.
Thanks Justin take care and rest well. The colors in just about every new home kitchen had burnt orange and avocadoGreen back then.
Hey Justin, I'm moving from CA to GA and driving Route 66, I"m going to check out some of your recommendations and staying at Blue Swallow.
Another excellent video, Justin. Love all of the Route 66 stuff. It's on my bucket list. Thanks for the great job.
hope you feel better. you are funny man!
Thank you Justin. The older I get the more I'm getting into RV's. Now I think you should take a few days off and rest. You don't want that cold to get worse. We'll be here for ya. Sending healthy vibes to ya ))))))))))))))))))
I loved the rv museum!! We just bought our first travel trailer last year so this was very fascinating!!! Will have to check this out!!!
We literally laughed for 5 minutes when you mentioned the clown bar! Sounds horrendous! Lol
OMG I love Tex Randall!! I went to college in Canyon at West Texas A&M University. So cool to see you in my old stomping grounds. I also had several fun times at Cadillac Ranch. BTW its windy there all the time!

This was an awsome one!! Thank you!!!
looking forward to the next video...👍
As a camper, that was fun Justin! Thanks for sharing! I'll take one of each ;-)
Wow, that museum was fascinating!

You do need a Large Marge like Adam! :)
Funny you mentioned Hank Hill, because I was about to make comment about his rump looking a lot like Hanks! That whole problem he had with not having a keister!
Haha back seat driving....!😂

❤ this series! Route 66 is on my bucket list. Until I can do it how about you putting a publication of your adventure together(with a lot of pictures)? That's something I would purchase! I would use it to plan my trip! ☺ ✌
if you ever find a good deal you should definitely get an airstream, then you can camp instead of getting a hotel
70's colors were avocado green, harvest gold and I cant remember what the popular orange color was called.
David Thacker It was called "Rust". I. Lived through a house of it as my Mom was obsessed with the color.
You should join Adam for a week and do some classic RV'ing!
Come to Tulsa and check out Buck Atom in the Meadow Gold District area.
Great video. Have you noticed many of the shops carry small bottles of honey? Local honey is a like a booster shot against pollen. Buy local honey and have some. Don't put it in tea, it breaks down the molecules. Honey has antiseptic properties.

I love that they were able to raise enough money to restore Tex Randall!
I want a Justin old 66 road book !
Feel better :) Cool video :)
Justin, take some zinc, it'll help you get over that cold faster.
FMC also made military personnel vehicles
Rv is a good funny movie, it's on Netflix right now. I suggest you watch it sometime.
Get well soon!
The 76 trailer looks like our kitchen! Yikes. Formica. Videa game I tell ya whut.

im heading up to indiana wednesday, might run into you onthe way up, i'll keep an eye out for a guy dancing in the middle of the street lol
hey Justin where's your next stop in Texas we got some pretty cool and weird stuff in El Paso Texas
You have to watch the movie RV. It's the best.
Maybe you and Adam the Woo can meet somewhere and cruise around in " Large Marge"!!
Haha! I'm watching Adam and wondering if Justin and his path will cross on this trip somewhere...
I do think Adam the Woo would love the RV museum, because of "Large Marge".
Fantashtic!
I had a pair of Tony Lama boots,, lasted forever, and they were not that expensive
I thought Big Tex at the state fair of Texas was the biggest cowboy in the state.
That is Tex Randall not Big Tex. I used to live in Canyon where he is at.
Get Well
Wow! Tex sure looks better now than he did in 2013! Check him out on the google street view! ^_^ (1413 N. 3rd Ave., Canyon TX)
Your second route 66 turned into Route 666. At 0:18.
Tell Adam to take Large Marge to that R.V. dealer
I've seen RV its a funny movie.
Buzz Lightyear!
SHWEAT!!
Justin I hope you are feeling better now, we don't want you catching the P =( I wish you would take a few days off and chill in a cool old motel, get some good gluten free vittles to cook up in your room with your portable stove, relax, sleep, watch movies... Alight I'll stop.
Hey man not sure if you ever played fallout new vegas but if you did you should visit all the real life locations in the game!
Cool
Is it wrong that I call people traveling Route 66, Route 66ers? 🤔
nice video but take a rest man and get better
What kind of reprobate would give Justin thumbs down?
Where is Ally these days? I miss seeing her beautiful face.
guardians ride is open
