JC had the best voice, the most talented and versatile member of the band.
He 1000% needs to listen to This I Promise You!! It shows off their vocals on another level.
With that watching JC with the songs writer, Richard Marx. Then move onto Marx solo. JC sounds a lot like him but honestly Marx is better which is saying a lot.
@@rowanmayfair9249No, Marx is not better, he’s just more Rock. He’s got that classic raspy rock voice, very good but extremely different.
JC’s vocals obviously flows better for pop music, but his voice is REALLY shines when he sings R&B and Jazz. The two men are just VERY different musically, but great with what they are designed to do.
They’re not singing over track vocals. These men are singing live while doing full on choreography. They are the goats.
I'm 56 years old and not ashamed to say I love Nsync's music. If they do get together and tour in 2024, I will take out a 2nd mortgage on my house to get tickets. I'm not even kidding. Great reaction!
JC has the best vocals, hands down!! These were the good old days. I remember watching these concerts and recording them on my vcr, going to their concerts, buying cds, I still know their choreography and I still do it lol.

They are not lip synching and their breath control is amazing. Also pay attention to their dancing, you will see A LOT of Michael Jackson moves.

they’re singing live but also to a backing track with background vocals only
JC himself admitted that the group sang to backup tracks during televised performances so that they could concentrate on having the perfect dance performance. That was one of the differences between them and Backstreet--way Backstreet did not do the more complicated and athletic dance moves-they valued their live vocal perfomances more.
I'm so glad JC is getting some love and respect! Justin is amazing too! My nieces were into NSYNC back in the day and I totally loved their music and dancing and thought what a great bunch of guys! I had a boy band obsession too when I was their age. I totally still love to hear everything they did and as far as age goes Chris is the closest in age to me but you're never too old to enjoy great music!

No…This I Promise you is a JC power ballad song! Jive just put Justin there to open and end so that way people mentally focus on Justin and not JC.
I Thought She Knew is a REAL Nsync song that showcases All their voices to make up that 5 part harmony!
Especially the version in the Atlantis concert

@@veryluckybidALL of Justin’s parts are easily replaceable if you insert a “decent” singer to take his place. JC on the other hand IS the irreplaceable member! Heck, even Joey Fatone has a better voice than Justin. After JC, Joey was the next best singer. I cannot stand Justin’s annoying unsupported Billy Goat vocals. The only time he isn’t annoying is when he goes into falsetto, which a lot of his hardcore fans always hyper focus on and rave about how somehow THAT makes him more “better” than JC. Totally stupid, because ANY decent singer can do falsetto, there’s nothing special about it one bit. Chris Kirkpatrick can do falsettos better than Justin and even JC (though he prefers to use a mix high chest voice in a lot of their songs instead).
JC was always my favorite but Joey was a close second because he just always seemed like he was a funny guy and having the best time!
There's a video from this year's VMAs of Taylor Swift losing her mind when NSYNC went up on stage together. Her hands were shaking and everything. It was wild to watch such a huge pop star utterly fangirl, but those boy bands really had all of us in a chokehold when we were young XD
They are really fun. Bring joy to life, make you dance and sound amazing while doing that. Those comments are right. Jc is faaaaaar better than jt. He has great voice, perfect vocal control and he is the best dancer in the group. In some concerts, you can tell that they are tired for example in winter olympics concert because of the cold weather and heavy clothes. But even in those moments especially last song bye bye bye in the winter olympics you can hear his voice clearly. There are some videos with only jt and jc live vocals and while jt sounds tired jc sounds powerful. And one last thing: definitely watch nsync holiday intimate show. They don’t dance there and sound amazing 🤩
👏 Jive did JC dirty by sabotaging JC to push Justin! He wasn’t even allowed to release the music he wanted to originally release because they didn’t want JC to compete against Justin in the same genre! If you paid close attention to some of JC’s side projects outside of Nsync, it was clear he was trying to branch out into doing solo R&B music: collaborating w/ Blaque in “Bring It All To Me” (only credited as Nsync cause Pearlman wanted to make sure he got all the money) And JC’s song for Drumline, “Blowin Me Up With Her Love”! Even early on in his career, JC has always stated Jazz and Soul music were his biggest influences growing up (probably has a lot to do w/ his French-Creole heritage which management hid because Nsync was supposed to be an all “White” stubborn boyband)!
None of the boybands singers can even touch JC vocally! Some may claim that Zayn Malik or even Bruno Mars can go toe to toe with him….nope heard both many times over and none of them can! The crazy thing about JC’s vocals is that people assume his range is so great because he can hit all those high notes like Chris. What they don’t know, is that JC is also capable of hitting into Bass range territory as Lance. There are several unreleased Nsync projects where JC does just that! You’d think you were listening to Lance, but nope it’s JC! For example, the song Here and Now features JC singing very low and deep!
I took my daughter to see N’SYNC 3 times. We both Love them. We saw the No Strings Attached, Pop, and the Celebrity Tours. The last tour it was her birthday and they sang Happy Birthday to her and other fans for their birthdays!🎉However we were so close to the stage that Justin, Lance, and JC pointed her out😳it was such a surprise and a special moment we will never forget!😁❤💯

Wow. Take me back. I saw them in concert and middle school aged me was in heaven. The rush of seeing these guys live is hard to explain. You just had to be there. The mics were on and the choreography was top tier.

If you haven’t listened to I Wish She Knew yet, definitely search for one of their live renditions. Their old a cappella versions are amazing because you get to hear each person’s talent individually and then how well they blend.
They have a new song out now.... I know Ally has to know this, because of her love for Nsync. You should check it out. Also, another good oldie of theres is "This I promise you" Love JC and Justin's voice on that song.

I was 33 when this song came out, and I was raised to be open to all types of music. I Loved N'SYNC then, love hearing them now! I felt what your wife felt at the beginning lol. I'm so glad she's a fan and I get to watch these reactions!!
I loved NSYNC as a young person and still enjoy listening to their stuff. That being said, as an adult, my faves are BTS, Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, and Coldplay. Coldplay's collab My Universe introduced me to BTS, and I fell hard. They are an amazing group. Legit, every member is extremely talented, and they have such a diverse discography. I encourage anyone who appreciated NSYNC check BTS out because they are next level.
I raised 3 daughters in the 90's..Boy Bands totally existed back in the day MTV had weekly Top 10.
If you want to appreciate that everyone in the group is a better singer than Justin, then you should probably do I Thought She Knew. It's weird that you haven't gotten to it. It's their best song by a VERY wide margin.
JC is an incredible singer and is neck-and-neck with Brian from Backstreet Boys for being the best singer of any of the 90s boybands.
JC sings circles around Brian. There are video clips of JC doing vocal runs and holding a long note for over 40 seconds in one breath! He effortlessly sings without trying too hard cause he was naturally gifted with a 4 octave range! Plus Brian never learned how to sing properly with his voice (and the damage is clear today).
JC on the other hand sounds EXACTLY the same as he did over 20 years ago! Justin sounds even worse than he did while he was with Nsync (if that was even possible), no wonder the entire track of Better Place is all auto tune!
That’s really rude and uncalled for .. Justin is a great singer with a unique voice.

I'm 39, I still have my nsync dolls until now. People keep asking who are they? I told them the greatest boyband ever live, who can sing LIVE while dancing.
Omg the model from the original video, Kim Smith, I had the biggest crush on her in high school. She's gorgeous and doesn't even have to use cheap shortcuts

NSYNC is forever the greatest group I have ever seen the way they harmonize together the way they sing acapella they're are the White Boyz 2 men in my opinion don't get me wrong with the Backstreet Boys were dope it was something about NSYNC they can sing and dance that good and their personality that's why I like them more
JC Chasez is the best vocalist to come out of any of the boybands, and yes that includes the Black-ones too! JC can sing beyond 4 octaves in some cases!

They ALWAYS saw JC as being the most problematic (because he is a real Artist like Prince) who was harder to control than “entertainers” like JLo and Justin Timberlake. JC was the first member of NSYNC to sue their old label and manager, how do you think it was ever going to turn out for him with a history like that once they moved to Jive?
What you really like is Timbaland and Pharrell because they were primarily responsible for Justin’s “sound.” Also, JT emulated JC a lot too while growing up, he jacked a lot of his style. Justin had to be TAUGHT how to sing R&B by Robin Wiley because he was initially too “country.” This is why the Internet is going hard for fake posers like JLo and Timberlake, because they are frauds. Every true NSYNC fan knows JC’s bread and butter is R&B and Jazz (and it makes sense given his Creole heritage/musical influences). He had a lot of music that he wasn’t allowed to release because the dumb label executives forced him to go a completely different direction from JT all because they didn’t want JC to compete against him.
JC was sabotaged from the beginning and wasn’t given any money or support like Justin. Timberlake was spoon fed a career set up by ALL the team of people dead set on making him succeed (momager, handlers). That narcissistic former child beauty contestant is no different than all the Nepo babies that had it easy having money thrown at them to “not” fail.
JC was ON his own, not even comparable in situation.

Really need to listen to 2-3 of the acapella songs. That's where their voices really shine and showcases their talent more then any of the pop songs will no matter how catchy. O Holy Night, and I thought she knew are 2 great ones.

Both of my daughters plus my 2 sisters are NSYNC fanatics. My oldest daughter more so than my youngest(born in 1998). I told all of them that NSYNC and Backstreet Boys were not the original boy bands of course they looked at me like I was stupid. But I showed them pics of the originals The Osmonds and The Jackson 5. Guess what, my kids absolutely loved listening to that music when I played it for them especially “Down By the Lazy River”, “Crazy Horses” and “Yo-Yo” by The Osmonds.

The song is actually about them ditching their previous record label. The cd was called no strings attached because they were tired of basically always being told what to do with their music...not about some random girl

Nope sorry born 1963 been a big fan since the Disney show,was a stay at home mom to two boys ,pregnant with my girl in 2000 watched all the talked shows they were on ,TRL danced my dishes away.I had gestational diabetes and was babysiting a friend's baby who had allergies so I did go out much so I danced specialist asaid I was his besst patient owe it all to NSYNC

He needs the ballads. If you want to find out how good Nsync really is and what strong vocalists they are, always go with the ballads. Bye, Bye, Bye and It's Gonna Be Me are fun songs, but imo are also mid as far as their repertoire goes.
I Thought She Knew is an absolute must. It's an acapella track and 4 of the 5 get solos in it - first Justin, then JC, Joey, then Chris.
This I Promise You, God Must Have Spent, Thinking of You, Music of My Heart, For the Girl Who Has Everything, and That's When I'll Stop Loving You.
Alternatively, do the whole No Strings Attached album - it held the record for best selling album for 15 years for a reason. Its was a project they worked on themselves after leaving their record label. And its a good mix of songs, some fun, some meaningful.

Ok... my N'Sync story. It's taken a bit because I'm still shell-shocked. Took my mom's bf's daughter. I came away with a CLEAR appreciation for the group as a whole. Now I was a smidge older than the average concert fan there. First, the screams were deafening, I had ringing in my ears for a couple of days after. I'm no stranger to concerts. I survived a Metallica concert ffs!!! These kids, omg. When I was a kid, my boy band was Wham! and I went to their concert. Oh, it was loud. It was George Michael, we all lost our collective over him, but the decibels were nowhere near N'Sync. I want to try and set the scene, I was around 19 I think and this little blonde haired girl was literally punching my arm every single time Lance came on stage and I was thinking of telling her just to get back at her for kicking my ass the whole night but then remembered MY love of George Michael and literally in my head all I could think was, You poor thing, you're gonna be surprised in a few years, lol. The meat and potatoes of this though was N'sync and the undeniable talent they showcased. I'm a big lover of dance and came away with one sick love of JC's smooth af moves. JT could also, but JC ranked higher to me. Now, we don't talk about JC here anymore. When I saw him, I was like, no, dude, give up the last hurrah and please, Lord, cut your hair. Thought I was going to hate every second and was proven so wrong. I actually have a favorite song, heard it during the concert, and still listen to it today. Digital Getdown
