Here's one thing I noticed about the ESPN Swamp Buggy broadcasts, they treated it pretty seriously. The Diamond P/TNN broadcasts had a lot of fun and humor, but the ESPN broadcasts treated it seriously.
Yes, they did, but I kinda think that Diamond P may have had a better, more interactive format than VFP did. I mean, you may notice their interviews were more in depth with the competitors than VFP's were. Also, I believe a lot of these racers (IE: The Worthington's, Ray Thornton, the Chesser's, Roger McCandless, etc.) were pretty classy, too!
The Diamond P broadcasts were more interactive and in-depth than the ESPN/Victory Film broadcasts. But I enjoy them both just the same. All these guys are class acts.
