1. Don’t hesitate to use the cover. 2. To clean up the printed models use the ultrasound cleaner. 3. Always shake well the resin before use it. 4. Try to not use the air cleaner - I think that this can increase the quality of the printed parts. 5. Each resin have his own print parameters, so before printing you need to print the test model with different screening times and look the result under the microscope to choose the optimal parameters. Hope this will help you get the best quality of the print. Regards from Ukraine.
Nice and calm video! A lot of of the videos today’s are so hyper you getting stressed just watching them, so nice with some easier tempo here :) keep going with the good work :)
Ive been using the Saturn 2 since Sept and it's a beast. My only issue with it is the ball join holding the build plate isn't quite strong enough and the plate is very easy to un-level if you're not careful (even if you are) when removing prints. I think a whambam or similar would help.
Um yeah, dont level the machine with the vat in place .... You dont want to risk damaging the sheet. Its best to use a piece of thick paper or card. Most printers will come with a piece of card specifically for bed leveling.
Good vid. You covered the whole process nicely. The clear resin does not look good. I think the gray or medium blue would show details better. The microscope was a nice touch too.

Where did the STL come from? Looking for a good Jinx model! Also, just stumbled to this video. You’re the only reviewer that uses a macro lense and microscope to evaluate the quality. Would you try to push the quality further with smaller layer height and antialiasing?
Hello, what printer do you recommend- creality halot-lite cl-89l 3d printer or Elegoo Saturn 2 8k ? I couldn’t find any difference between 4k and 8k quality but I want printer with good reputation and quality.
Wonderful review showing some of what this printer can achieve. Since you did find problems with some of the cleaning alcohol, it would be great if you could tell us what alcohol you got the best and which was worse results.
Can you rotate the Jinx model so that it's lying on its side? Seems like it would print faster and with fewer supports. I don't know why slicers don't do it automatically.
Action Box on RUclips has a desktop plastic injection machine that might mate very well with your (excellently reviewed) printer. They have been experimenting with 3D printed molds...... and it looks promising!
Thanks for the review! Do you happen to know the size and airflow of the fans? I'd like to order replacement noctua fans ahead of getting my printer. I know I'll need a voltage converter.
I have gotten to the point where I home it like he did. Calibrate it and set at 0. Then I raise the axis .1mm 2/3 times. Then hit print without rising the z axis all the way to the top. But also I do that with the Saturn not Saturn 2
Is this printer also vendor locker like all (?) recent "chitu systems" company based printers? (and elegoo is using chitu boards) So only can be used with chitubox slicer and won't accept files from other slicers (due to encryption). Chitubox software is free in limited form and very expensive in full version. Free until vendor decides to end free version of course.
@@ElegooOfficial Lychee Slicer uses chitu SDK which is still closed source and still part of a locked system. Vendor can just stop supporting it, switch to new encryption style etc. Vendor lock-in (who doesn't know what that means should check wikipeida) is *bad*.
hi, nice videos I was looking single cell charge with battery gauge I want to include it in my project and display charging animation when connected to charger and show battery percentage on oled
I thought you will make a 3d printer like this one, then I shocked when you start reviewing the product and the capability . my friend you are not Vlogger, you are creator so keep focus on your Owen project please. thanks
The most complete review I've ever seen. Thank you. Really nice job.

If anyone was thinking about getting the original 4K mono Saturn, Elegoo currently (06/19/2022) has them on clearance on their website for $345.78.

Great review! I've been using the Saturn 2 for a week, the performance is goodXD

Hahahaha LOL USPS challenge accepted 🙅♂️
Thanks for the review! Have been looking at resin printers for a while now.
You need to submerge your prints in isopropyl alcohol completely to wash them correctly.
So thankful for your review!!!
Brilliant video. Subscribed. Thanks!

wait
shouldnt you remove supports before you cure the print?
Great review! Can you perhaps make an updated video using it to make PCBs?
That's stupid. It only prints plastic. No metal.

Better use isopropanol all the time!

What was the clear resin you used for the Millennium Falcon?

The instructions I got have me removing the VAT when leveling. What am I missing?
Nice
Your video shows that you are using a water washable resin - So I'm a little confused as to why you say you are using alcohol to wash the models
What layer height did you use?
Please make a pick and place machine

There's 8k resin? Good to know!
Do not cure the print befor removing the supports
