This statue is unreal 😮 The pose is what makes the piece look all the better and it gives scale of what it was capturing in the first place a scene straight out of the comics. Love the paint on it as well, the colour of the fire complements the colours of Thor’s outfit. Awesome video Gem 💎

I think the Cape looks cool wrinkled cause he's been battling plus the little char parts on the ends with the flames gives it a cool touch. As always, awesome reviews. I can't wait to get mine in.

Recent subscriber here and I'm loving the content. I used to do statute repairs and repaints, and your channel has got me wanting to get back into it. That cape should steam out pretty easy with an iron on low. Maybe even just lightly mist it with a spray bottle and set something heavy on it for a bit. I'm about to go look and see if you have the Sideshow Collectables Exclusive TNMNT's. Anyway, keep dropping these videos. I already hit the bell.
I have it. I agree with being anxious about Thor being supported on keyed piece. It actually feels pretty stable though. Nice work, good review. An A+ piece IMO.
Just got this today. Best piece I own so far. Completely blown away by the detail and the dynamic pose. Same as you I wasn't sold on the main piece been keyed into another piece keyed into the base. A little dodgy to me but it looks great. I also found the magnet in the mouth a bit weak but other then that a magnificent piece to own. Tomorrow I unbox my marquette Doomsday so Thor might be knocked off the number one spot. I just unboxed my Arkhem Knight Batman with battle damage and my Iron Studios 1/3 Superman and as good as they are I still like my 1/4 Thor better.

Thing is you really have to take the time and care to pose the cape. Hope it's not a heavy material. I have the Jane Foster Mighty Thor, and I don't care for the heavy material used for the cape, makes it seem too big for the piece. Good review as always
I’m slowly falling into the rabbit hole of statues. I bought the Mythos Darth Maul and pre ordered the Mythos Darth Vader. Now I’m contemplating on getting the Super man call to arms statue
For cloth capes, I use different sized pill bottles or any cylinder type thing. And then go back and forth using them to curve the bottom of the cape. That gives it a nice rippled effect.

Nice review Gem..take that cape and throw it in the dryer om delecate for 2 minutes then install it back while still warm and all the wrinkles will be gone..or get your self a cheap steam wand from Walmart..Thanks for the review.
Yo Gem I had mine for 2 weeks now and just set it up it looks so damn awesome. I was in talks with SS for replacement parts but there are so many chips that they are probably going to send me another one. Either way i'll be happy with this one. So sick. My cape isn't holding properly on the left side. The buckle keeps popping out but does hold as long as you don't touch the cape. The right side holds fine.

Man i love thor. I just wasnt fully feelin the pieces. Like u im anti cape. The back sculpt is really amazing. But like you said thor is keyed into another key in piece. That was a bust for me. Im hella clumsy and that also seems like just too much room for factory error. I hate the color of the lava/fire but it was how the piece all fits that made me too nervous. I dont like when the statues float i guess. Glad it turned out solid for you gm!!

That Thor is crazy nice! I’d try a steamer on the cape, I’d be worried about whatever they’ve weathered the cape with smearing with an iron. Congrats!
Great review. I agree with the hand as opposed to the hammer but that's IMO. Once you have played with the cape it will look sweet. Well done.
