I've been keeping an eye out for a clean Maverick for a Mayfly build since Gemeneye first showed it off. Just found one at a Goodwill for a couple bucks after work this evening. I'm really looking forward to the finished product. Thanks for the showcase.
I absolutely love how it looks and what it's doing for a classic blaster. Sadly it's beyond my expertise in modding ATM. But hopefully someday.
It is actually very easy to do if you know how to wire up a flywheeler
@@ValTek_Armory I do somewhat. My soldering skills are a bit lacking though. Also I'd have to commission the parts. Really need to invest in a 3d printer.

Also for the end of video I've absolutely loved watching the hobby grow. I remember not that long ago there was the caliburn the fdl 2 and not all that much else in terms of 3d printed blasters. Now you can print one of several hundred custom designs or parts for just about any blaster. One moment I remember is when someone asked if there was a cage for the Tommy 20 and I was like there's no way, sure enough 5 minutes later someone linked to a 3d printable cage. Really just shows how far 3d printing has propagated that there's a cage for a 15 year old blaster that nobody remembers just out there.
I want to get a maverick now and do this mod

Get your Blasters Ready. The Nomad Drops soon. I designed my own version of a flywheel Maverick using standard flywheels and a not so subtle mag well. The Mavfly conversion was released in January when I was still under development.

Gemeneye also has the files on Thingiverse. I do LARPSoft, Wasteland specific, and we use NERF as Plasma weapons. I have a maverick. I'm printing off a few mods for the base gun but I might look at the Mayfly later.

Damn, that's an awesome build. I would love to make one myself, but it would have a borderlands paintjob I use to do with most of my blaster. Keep up making these vids 👌🏻

High pressure air version with Polestar? =:3
Polarstar engines don't work with nerf. You'd need to heavily modify it to accommodate

not with this kit. You're better off with a modified Ultra 2 if you want a great flywheel revolver
