100% agree with everything you say in this video! I've had multiple money ropes, broken handles and snapped the rope in the middle and at the handles, but it's all down to how I use them. I tend not to use the money rope for releases now, I also use them very short, no issues with snapping at handles since. Im currently using the icon more at the moment and beads when doing tricks! I will always love Rush Athletics as a brand!! Keep going bro! Gonna be hitting you up for a new hat soon lol!!
I'm sure a mat could help but I myself have been using a speed rope for 6 years on my driveway and while the middle contact point is quite scuffed up, it's the handles and the contact points with the handles that broke down a while ago (like after 3 years), I've since used duct tape to set the handles in place. In other words, when buying a jump rope, you seriously should not be considering the middle breaking, it's super rare for a jump rope to just snap in half in the middle due to scuffing over time.
I never got a mat man, had nowhere I could put it. Found a specialist rope for to be used on any surface. Used it on the road on tarmac for a year, never broke. However my knees, joints calves, got wrecked from the tarmac, haven't jumped in months! Hope things are good!

Never too late to do right. Btw I bought your last yellow Money Rope on U.S. Amazon this morning around 6am Vegas time. Man your Money Rope, is a ghost rope online. LOL. Can't find it anywhere. Well that's not a bad sign. Means the business is booming. I couldn't even get 2 on Amazon this morning.. I had a message saying that, the seller got only 1 left.. Thanks again for teaching us and sharing your skills. I wanna be like you when I grow up. LOL.. Peace...
I love rushie and his ropes, but i habe to say even with the right technique the money rope is gonna break or getting burned and its becoming extremley thin on the handles.i still have some.momey ropes and one of them i can use them but it feels like its gonna break someday. But it really last long 10 month.

Just do a little bit(5 or 10 minutes) every day just before you break the fast.. the timing is very important... If you jump rope in the morning.. you're not gonna last the day.. the experience will be bad... the thirst for water will make you go crazy.. so just before you eat, do a little bit jumping... Then go eat.. remember, Ramadan is best for loosing weight.

Can't find a decent mat to jump rope.. Gotta get my hands on your mat, Rush! He’s bullshitting guys.... the reason your rope snap at the handle is 100% poor design not how you are using your ropes! There’s friction between the exit bore of the handle and the rope which will ultimately wear your rope causing it to snap. The design of the skipping rope should seek to eliminate that friction. Some manufactures attempt to eliminate this by incorporating bearings. However, a lot of the bearing ropes have the bearing seizing and the rope turning inside the bearing generating friction and ultimately snapping. A design that curves the exit bore outward allowing the rope to turn without contact should work. There are ropes out there that have slightly enlarged outlet bore and a very polished surface to minimise friction. You can also apply a tiny bit of vaseline or grease at the contact point. Some layers of sello-tape around your rope at the contact point will also help. Duck tape works very well as well if not better. Your rope will last forever.... But that's bad for business I guess

A year! Wtf... on average mine last 3 months but after watching this video my only fault is when trying tricks im stepping on the rope. Maybe that's the only reason mine don't last that long, I'll have to slow down take extra care.
Rush these advises are useful for a life warranty of the rope , but i prefer to enjoy the items no matter if they get damaged on the process! Come on its just an item and we dont live forever ! ;)

I' ve been using Money ropes for 2 years now, rubber mat half of the time and smooth concrete another half. Life span in my case of each rope is between 4 to 6 months, and fot me that' s fair. These ropes are really superb. However, one thing about them I don't like and that's quality of logo print, it gets erased very quickly. Could you please have them engraved? I' ve been using the mat(round one) as well, but for very short period of time. I stopped completly, for me they are just no good. The reason is they are too light and do not fit the floor quite tight causing the rope to slow down and that is anoying. If they were a bit heavier I suppose will be better. My rope just breaks after a few months do to wear and tear it happens because I jump hard and fast for training in boxing 6 days a week

Probably heresy but I put electric tape on my rope under the top of the handle... Change that every few sessions. Sorted!

The money rope handle is quite thin and ease of breakable, when it slipped off my hand and hit the ground then the handle cracked.
