- Kelela is the LA-based singer with waist length dreads (watch her cut them off here) who we first heard on poptronica duo Teengirl Fantasy’s EFX and hailed as the future of music when we met her at the beginning of last year. We’re going back to the future once again with A Message, the first video from her forthcoming EP, Hallucinogen. Produced by Arca, Hallucinogen takes us on a journey through lust, longing, delirium and ecstasy. Directed by Daniel Sannwald, A Message is the stage that comes before lust, the darker realisation of love; the “rejection and amputation.” Watch the cartoon lights twist around and engulf the sylph-like singer, transforming her into a virtual goddess at war with herself, spilling out a rolling vocal that will mesmerise lesser mortals…

Arca is definetly producer of the year(s)... First FKA Twigs, then Bjork, now this... That guy is a killer!
This is was actually made 2 years ago! But it's just been released now, he's so ahead. :)
actually he worked with björk before he worked with twigs, but the stuff he coproduced with björk was just released because it was an album that was years and years in the making. björk actually taught arca a lot about what he knows about producing now, he has cited her as a major influencer and mentor in his career.

I loved EP2! And I don't know my friend, I was commentingc based on "the invisible woman" interview published on pitchfork which took place on 2014's Halloween, where Björk said things such as "[Arca] approached me almost two years ago, and it was just the most perfect timing ever" (and EP2 is from september 2013)- and "I’ve been in the studio since I was 11; Alejandro had never done an album when I worked with him". But she was maybe referring to a solo album.
