'Bank Head' holds such a precious memory for me. I always listened to it whilst riding the ferry back into the city centre when I lived in Amsterdam. It had me in such a trance watching the waves and hearing Kelela's beautiful voice.

I swear. Kelela has always been the blueprint.
I’m been listening to her since my college days seven years ago. Listening to her debut album as I was driving the back roads of Georgia will forever be reminisced.
Take Me Apart was and is a cultural masterpiece. I have loved this girl ever since I’ve heard her voice, and I have been doing my best to follow her musical journey and the contributions that she has given to the industry.
Her story is challenging, but ever uplifting and influential, holding up the backbone of the music industry. Her voice is an experimental sultry to the ears as she gravitates you from love to lust to heartbreak.
I love every aspect of her, what she represents and stands for. NPR always gets it right.
I’m waiting on Ama Lou, Ojerime and Elmiene. ❤️🙏🏾

If you want a full recording of at least 1 of the tracks on here there is a harp remix of enough on her take me apart remix album. I think it’s the last track I’m not sure but it’s the full extended ahya Simone remix on there.
