Love to watch these videos and compare housing in Scotland and the US. The scenery is beautiful, and so is the Scottish voice and accent!

Beautiful property. Modern, bright, fresh & clean. Out of all the properties of yours that I've watched over the last week or so since I found your channel, this is my favourite by far. The kitchen and shower room are perfect and the size is perfect for a senior citizen like me. Love it!

@@Bobby-LeeChanning Yes, I'd say it is great value, especially with the large back garden. In the north of England and Scotland, property is very reasonably priced, if you stick to the villages or suburbs. You pay a premium to live in cities. I've lived in Nottinghamshire, East and South Yorkshire in rural villages and currently live in a small village in Lincolnshire. You can get a large 3 bedroomed house in my village for £115k or a mansion for £750k (there's a stunning one that's just come onto the market complete with triple garage, swimming pool and large grounds). In my former village, 7 miles from Barnsley, you could get a 3 bedroomed semi for £85k that just needed redecoration. You do acclimatize to the colder weather and the people are so friendly, kind and helpful.

@@missprimproper1022 thank you so much for the valuable information , I've lived in North Kent my whole life but am now DISABLED and need a freehold property I can afford with low c.t. to potter my days away till darkness falls I will definitely check out those areas you mention, let's hope people really are friendlier in the north for they sure are selfish down these parts of late

@@Bobby-LeeChanning People really are friendlier "up north". I'd never set foot in Lincolnshire before I moved to my one bedroomed ground floor flat with communal gardens. It needed redecoration so I moved into the local pub in the next village, and got the bus here every day until I'd decorated. My new neighbours baked me muffins and brought me coffee and sandwiches, so I could work on the property every day. I had a full English at the pub and they served evening meals from 7 p.m. but my neighbours fed me during the day. There's a lovely 2 bedroomed bungalow in my village at £245k (brand new) and another 3 bed at £250k (top notch property too). I'm disabled and retired but I still potter in the gardens. In most villages there is a community centre with loads of activities going on. In my village there is a Craft Club, Gardening Club, Youth Club, Disabled Wheelchair Exercise Classes, Bingo, Beetle Drives, Bridge Club, and every other Saturday night the village holds a social evening with things like games nights, or they hire a singer and we all have a singalong and we sit and chat and drink alcohol or tea & coffee. There's a darts and dominos night held at the pub in the next village. The local library in the larger village publicizes local events. We have Craft Fayre's and Village Fetes. Once a year we have a coach trip to the coast, and the Craft Club runs trips to Craft Fayres in places like Harrogate, Leeds and London. There's a Cricket Club too and football for the youth. You would love it here. I certainly do. There are no shops in my village but the large supermarkets deliver (Asda, Tesco, Ocado, etc.) but there's a Co-op in the next village and a small Tesco. The large supermarkets are 7 miles away. We are served well by the cheap local bus service but neighbours will be happy to give you a lift. Please consider moving north. Life is great here and things like food and local transport costs are very reasonable. We have loads of garden centres too that offer great food and it's a lovely way to spend a few hours. Please let me know if I can help at all. I'd be happy to. God bless you.

Why do these videos keep saying 'bathroom' when there is no bath in the room. What's wrong with saying 'shower room' or is it not 'posh' enough?
