  • Metal shaping the bottom of the A-post, with very siple tools.
    The illustration that it is not always necessary to have very expensive tools to be able to make nice little pieces. Good measurements, good planning, a little bit of precision and that's it.

    Were the holes slugged or drilled? They appear to be drawn down a bit, creating some formed countersink. Very nicely done!

      it is steel thickness 1mm.
      The holes have been drilled.
      the chamfer you mention is probably because you can see the cage in which the tapped plate for the hinge screws comes (7:40)
