Omg thank u so much for making a tut on this, it took 3 months for my PlayStation app to even start working, idk how many others ppl had that problem, but i got a blank white screen when i was supposed to be taken to sign in, then i got stuck at this remote play error (not communicating to my ps5) , works beautifully now so ty so much , huuge help to me

No Monitor, cable or controller is physically required to be connected to the PS5 except for Power Cable.
Just make sure the PS5 is on and is connected to the Internet.

PS controllers on PC need to be connected via USB. PS controllers can be connected to a Mac via Bluetooth.
No, they work both ways on both Platforms. Just needs a little tweaking here and there.

And how do you play without a mouse? The mouse is there but you cant use it in game (in games where you usually can play on the ps5 directly) if you connect pa5 controller via Bluetooth the app doesn't recognize the controller..
Apparently no one has an solution they all just ignore the issue or tell you to connect the controller to the PC via usb, which doesn't make sense when any android device that can run remoteplay connects to ps4 and ps5 controller via Bluetooth and work in am seamlessly. But my pc with all the latest specs can't.
@@JayUchiha17Pretty sure PCs dont usually have bluetooth in them. Theres a reason why bt M+K always have a dongle that comes with them.

Now the answer to your question is a Yes and No.
Yes, you can use a keyboard and mouse to play games but It's only limited to some games such as Call Of Duty and NO because most games don't and also the PS UI doesn't recognise the mouse so it's not worth it.

Can you please explain why exactly you connected your controller with a USB cable? If your Computer has a Bluetooth you can connect it Wirelessly too.
@@thegreatestintellect there is no driver update to my PC for windows 10 to play Bluetooth it needs to stay plugged in into there is a Ps5 driver for Bluetooth. It connects Bluetooth but there is no driver update yet. It’s why I asked. I am using my ps5 on OBS and I stream it

For some reason when I’m connected on my PC to my PS5 the brightness and saturation is completely unplayable but it’s not the game, it’s the entire PS5 display on my PC. What’s this issue have to do with?

Every time I connect to remote play and it links up it turns My controller off and then when I press the ps button on the controller to turn it back on it wants me to connect yo my acoung and doing so goes back to the ps5 and closes my remote play

It pairs with PC, works with Steam and Epic games, but does not work in remote play.

No, it is not necessary. See there're lots of bugs in this app so sometimes it acts stranger. So keep trying

There's no dedicated requirement for this. Even 4GB might be sufficient with even with a Celeron Processor if your Computer runs fine. If you are low on resources just make sure your Computer dosen't have too much apps running before launching Remote Play App and you'll be fine.

No, Same network is not required! It'll work as long as both devices are connected to the internet someway, doesn't matter where or how far they are...

This is a known problem of Playstation Servers. Sometimes they have severe downtime and no matter what you do It'll not work and will show you random errors like Incorrect Password etc. So I suggest you wait for some time and try after a few hours. Hope that helps and Thanks for the Support ❤️

@@thegreatestintellect sadly this did not help. I have the controller connected via Bluetooth already but the PS Remote Play app doesn't allow me to use it. It works for all other games via Steam etc. Apparently you can only Remote Play wired on PC but you can play wirelessly on Mac and Android. Frustrating :( was hoping for a workaround, thanks though.

Can i still get 60 fps even if my laptop can only support 30 fps ?
Does it lag while playing games? Do we get higher frame rates like we do with ps5 on tv? Is there any latency? Is everything butter smooth?
Lag? Mostly it's smooth but it depends on your internet speed and no FPS above 60 is not possible over Remote Play. About latency, it's extremely minimal (again depends on your internet connection)and you'll not notice anything unless side by side but competitive is not recommended over Remote Play.

Hey I cannot use remote play while my ps5 is in rest mode. It only works when it is turned on. I have selected all the necessary rest mode options but still disconnects once i put my playstation to rest mode.
Remote play turned your PS on. It's like a mirror. You are still playing on your ps, just from a remote location

Yes it’s restricted officially by Sony at 1080p, maybe because 4K won’t be stable enough or feasible over a network. And there’s nothing we can do about it.
When I am playing on my tv with ps5 connected (tv is full hd), the quality is very good of everything.
But when I connect ps5 remotely to my monitor which is 27inc 1920x1080, the quality of the picture in games and generally almost 2 times worse the on tv… why is like this. All connected with Ethernet cables high speed. Internet is very fast as well..

Nah its not... indont have a TV in my bedroom so I can game in bed on my laptop. Would have preferred to get a PS portal. But hoping Sony will do a dedicated PS handheld again.

That's because your controller would still be connected to the PS5 itself. Why would you use remote play if you are near the PS5. You'll need to connect the controller to the device you are doing Remote Play from and then initiate the Remote Play so that the input comes from the Remote Play Device and not directly.
