I have put 750 miles on my ‘24 Wild and it’s by far the best bike I’ve ever been on. About 300 miles ago I put on an EXT e-Storia shock and it really helped it be more compliant in the really rough chunk, and I’m also running Shigura brakes which have been super reliable and consistent. Also running 155mm cranks which got rid of the pedal strikes, and recently threw on a set of Continental tires which are phenomenal (175 miles on them and they look barely scuffed, Maxxis tires would have been trashed by now). The minor tweaks to the ‘25 sound interesting, but the mullet setup doesn’t - I need 29” for the big rocks here in Phoenix.

A shame it can’t take the new Bosch 800wh battery that’s been released along side the gen 5 motor. It’s owing to the internal design of battery on the Orbea and the fact the new 800 unit is wider and on some bikes like Cube has a different cover fitted to create a bulge to accommodate the new battery. A shame we won’t see it here.
That would either require a removable battery to create a modular battery cover system or a different frame for the 80wh battery. Removable battery has been discussed already, worse for performance as it adds an kilo to the weight and a separate frame mould would be expensive.
