Went on this ride alone as a teenager, during the electric lights parade at night. It was totally empty and the thought that kept going through my mind was: one of these evil trees could grab me and NOBODY WOULD EVER KNOW.
Me either. My parents never got to go on it, either. We haven't been to Walt Disney World, because hurricanes hit Orlando, FL every year all season long.
Worst time here would have to be when I lost my luck, had to sit in the front row by myself, in an empty cart, and the ride breaks down with me stuck in between the scary trees in the forest for 20 minutes during the firework show. I wasn't a happy camper.
Walt Disney's target audience was the young at heart, not just children or girls who wanted to be princesses. I believe the phrase "whether you're six or sixty" could apply here nicely....
It's so sad that I never got to go on this ride with my parents 1 last time before closing day. WARNING: The forest scene and the other scene with the witch are way too scary for children who are 0-5 years old, because they can't tell the difference between real and pretend. The huntsman is a bad character which means that he may think about stabbing children's chests to collect their hearts in the same way he did to Snow White, but failed to do it. Instead, he gave the queen a pig's heart which is gross.
I went to Disney World twice when I was 5 and this was actually my favorite ride, but yet I cried out of terror on the Haunted Mansion. I will be going back to Disney World next year as a teenager and it just won't be the same without it.
yes their getting rid of this soon for a meet and greet. but their going to be making a 7 dwarfs roller coaster instead, im going this Saturday haven't been on snow white in years. but since their getting rid of it. one last spin for me. cant wait for the new coaster though! i hear the minecarts on the ride swing back and forth :D
One of the coolest and darkest Magic Kingdom experiences was when you'd first enter this ride and see that magic mirror saying "Alas! Snow White is the fairest one of all."
I guess that this is going to be a another ride that Disneyland will have but Disneyworld doesn't. I like it when Disneyland has rides that Disneyworld doesn't because Disneyworld has so much more then Disneyland does, but I feel like Disneyland isn't doing anything new, other then California Adventure. I think that Disneyland should try to add new stuff instead of just keeping what the have always had.
I understand the pain behind your feelings, because it isn't easy to deal with ride closures. It's too bad that no one wrote petitions to bring the ride back.
@blackbean99 You are correct, what I meant to say was that they focus on children to much, since the closure of Pleasure Island in 08.Correct me if I'm wrong over on the World Showcase side of Epcot.
I went on this ride after my aunt's water broke during a tropical rainstorm. It was confusing with Mickey trying to rush her to the hospital. I couldn't tell if her water broke, a kid peed (again!), or a flood. Scary shit for a eight year old (at the time, I'm nine now:P) to be so confused. If I were Ozzy, I would be saying, and i quote *clears throat* " Sharon! I'm so confused. :)D
@2brothersvideos That is because itis suppose to be from Snow White's point of view. Originally, there was no Snow White inside, so the Imagineers had to put in one.
@Hieagandaus Wait.... but wasnt Walt Disney's initial audience were just little adventours boys and little girls who wanted to be princesses? Correct me if I'm wrong here.
when i was little like 3 or 4 i went in this.......... it turned out not so good as i was coming out i got out with my face all red with tears and yelling at everybody to not go in because they will attack you....... nobody went in....... and then i refused to go in the whinnie the pooh one because i thought it was going to be scary as well
@synful323 I went on the version at DLP when I was 5. It scared the hell out of me, especially when the witch turns round and she is the old woman... :'(
This ride was awesome! Loved it as a toddler. So sad that it's closed! Curse the new princess hall meet n greet

One of my favorite rides at Disney. Sad it closed!
Sad I never had the chance to go on that ride.
Me either. My parents never got to go on it, either. We haven't been to Walt Disney World, because hurricanes hit Orlando, FL every year all season long.
Regina Scott it's isn't that good.
Same here..

Andrea Patane But he was warning the princess to run away, which was perfect for that scene.

this ride still scares the crap out of me..
That explains why the Imagineers added "Scary" to the ride's title.
One time the ride stopped and they had to turn the lights on. All those trees are bright orange.
Well..they *were* anyway..
I'm so sad this ride is gone
I went on this ride when I was seven. It was one of the only scary rides I was able to tolerate. Sad that it closed, since I liked it.
I’ve been called crazy for this.
But ever since I was a child, even still to this day, I am deathly afraid of the Old Hag from Snow White.
You’re not crazy. I don’t think she’s scary, but I’ll never call you crazy.
i'm brazilian, i went there nine times and i'm still not sick of it!
I miss this one.
Hi there. You have a absolutely nice youtube channel. Looking forwards to viewing some of your vids.
Disappointed that I never got to ride this in person...

Thanks so much for doing my request! I love it1 :D
I miss this ride

What sucks more is that it’s a lousy meet and greet now.
@blackbean99 You are correct, what I meant to say was that they focus on children to much, since the closure of Pleasure Island in 08.Correct me if I'm wrong over on the World Showcase side of Epcot.
I can't believe this ride closed
Wouldn't it be so great if they redid this with figures that actually MOVE instead of cut-outs?!

Yes the new mine train coaster will take its place in 2014
What happened to this ride?? When did they remove it??? Cause I've been going to Disney every single year and I don't remember riding it
Kyla Diaz They removed it for a meet and greet.
Sad to see that this ride will close on May 21st
i went on this when i was 4, it scared the crap out of me, especially the witch
2:48 Where’s dopey?
@Hieagandaus Wait.... but wasnt Walt Disney's initial audience were just little adventours boys and little girls who wanted to be princesses? Correct me if I'm wrong here.

Deemed to scary my butt, replacing this with a princess meet and greet.Geez!!!!!

This ride still nearly gives me a heart attack.
i went on this ride before
@synful323
I've always been a fraidy cat. I went on this when I was still little. I loved it. :3
Disneyland's version is too short and leaves out a lot of the story when compared to Walt Disney World's.
nope. there are no drops on this ride.
Huh... I completely forgot about this ride
I did
@heartlessman554 Omg I know!! I see the Witch and she's all like "あなたはすべて今死ぬつもりだ" and I'm like "PLEASE!! What are you saying?!?!"

@JKalama25799752 It's even scarier because you have no idea what the hell they're saying and the voice sound creepier haha.
